The front desk staff is completely unprofessional, acting beyond their scope, setting up some baseless rules with unreasonable expectations. Although the Therapist is actually good, the rudeness, unfriendliness, and lack of professionalism of the front desk staff makes me look for another place for physical therapy.  My daughter is permanently disabled where I need to accompany her at all times, and when I expressed that, they still insisted on me leaving their room.  Who empowered them to dictate such rules with so much attitude?!  Whoever manages this facility, please train your staff some common courtesy and logical thinking. read more

Where do I start. The moment the doctor walked in he referred to my race"Oh you're latina" I don't know why. As the appointment continued he was asking questions about ligaments as if I knew. Then he says I'm from Monterey Mexico and points to his elbow that in the Hispanic community means you're a tightwad-stingy, he said this to me 3 times throughout the appointment. I continued to tell him I'm not! That's racist!! He also asks me questions about the knee, cartilage,ligaments. When I say 'I don't know " He says but"You know everything. I don't know why my race had anything to do with a knee appointment. Or making insinuations that I'm stingy. Very unprofessional!! Managed Care Rehab - Valencia All the doctors and support staff were excellent. They were extremely helpful and friendly. I went there for rehab on my knee and received great help with useful exercises to preform both there and at home. I'm now trying out another therapy to repair an existing condition which I've endured for all my life. Fingers crossed it works. read more

This is not a rehabilitation facility or a place to receive care. It's just a scam for them to charge your insurance. They have old and broken equipment. Staff, that is untrained and unprofessional . They have no idea what to do. At one point some guy with a white coat showed up and started making obscene jokes about killing himself . Every time one of the girls at the front desk would give him some information he kept saying " the day you tell me what to do is the same day I will kill myself".... the same doctor constantly made jokes and talked about what he did when he was younger and how everyone revered him, the second I told him my problem and symptoms and asked how I'm gonna be helped today he went on his phone and googled my symptoms, Read to me what I had just told him and walked in the hallway and pointed at a picture of a muscular anatomy and showed me what I had just told him. Then he started quizzing me on things that he should know to help. And when I said, I don't know, he said " the day you know more than me is the same day I will kill myself". I'm pretty sure he was high on something. Equipment is old and broken from 25 years ago. I've seen them take advantage of people who are kind and in need of help and were sent there by their insurance and think " well my insurance is paying for this, and I'm sure they know what they're doing" these people have no idea what they're doing They're just wasting your time and scamming your insurance read more

Manage Rehab Care is a SCAM. The staff are incompetent the office is a dump, they offer substandard services and they are bullies!! They bullied me out of the office because I questioned their treatment practices. I was sent here by LA CARE for physical therapy. After three visits, the staff an PT's could not get my referral correct. therapy was inconsistent and the receptionist is beyond rude when I questioned their paperwork. Yesterday I went to my PT appointment, only to be yelled at by the Physical Therapist and the Office manager. They were upset that I followed up with my PCP regarding the referral, THAT THEIR OFFICE COULD NOT GET RIGHT. The office manager, Kaveh Soodjani was rude, dismissive and basically said he would they could not treat me according to my prescription. He made up fake office policies and told me if I didn't like it I should go somewhere else. Managed Care violated my patient rights. They should be shut down and I suggest anyone that has a horrible experience here, file a formal complaint with your provider. read more

This place deserves 0 stars and should be shut down for malpractice. They do NOT have the clients best interest in mind. They leave you unattended with the massager even though they leave you a bell to ring if the pain is to much, what good is that bell if the whole staff ignores it? The staff is rude and unprofessional. I have been calling since Monday at every hour several times a day to set an appointment and no answer! Finally today after my 18th call and 7th voicemail they finally picked up. What a waste of time. Please spare yourself the headache and go elsewhere. read more

I just finished my 12th session of physical therapy for my left knee and shoulders. I have been to other PT places but this place is the best!!! Lots of convenient free parking, clean waiting room and most important to me--Private rooms for my PT. All the other places have everyone in the same room. This place is quiet and relaxing and my therapist Cloriza is so nice and caring. All the rooms are cleaned before and after each patient too. No awful smells either. Most important--I am pain free. I had massage, cool laser and tens unit therapy. Amazing results. I highly recommend this place. read more

After being told not to come here no more due to me being "too advanced"for what they offer here I'm really disappointed they basically told me go find somewhere else but I'm glad I won't be wasting my time here anymore I have no balance can't walk, I'm in a wheelchair how is that even advanced? But I think they are just lazy because this other client came in and they told her not to come in no more to go home buy a resistance band off Amazon and then then handed her a paper with exercises to do. They really get paid for that ? I'm in the wrong career field when I'd be there they'd say get on the stationary bike then walk out of the room and not come back until my session was over. This place is a scam! They write appointments in a paper binder, no computer in sight. I'm clearly an athlete and they proceeded to give me exercises for a frail, elderly man. I set a follow up appointment for the following week. It was first thing in the morning at 8:30am. I get there, and someone erased my name out the appointment book so the woman at the front desk had to start working with me until a professional arrived. About 30 minutes later someone showed up to work. She was bored, uninspired, and clearly didn't give a damn if my shoulder was recovering properly or not. That follow up appointment was August 27th, 2018 and no one has called me in a whole year to follow up. I'm not sure if they billed my insurance for the remaining appointments. I'll look into that. Just w: Get a function desk top computer, an iPad or something that lifts this office out the 80's; show some compassion and respect for people dealing with injuries that have greatly impacted their lives. LAZY LAZY LAZY. JUST HORRIBLE. I called to schedule an appointment 4 weeks ago and was told no one calls to confirm appointments to remember it. I called today same day to confirm I have an appointment before I go. Sure enough I was not in the system. (Im am reading other reviewers and seems like there is no system to check) I spoke to a guy who is the only one there today to help on the phone. I Had to spell my name first and last name 8 times! Because he is not paying attention or writing things down. He could not locate an appointment or referral for me and there was "nothing he could do". He was rude and hung up the phone on me. I called back 4 times before he answered again. They have a caller ID and they only pick up the phone if they want to. I asked for his name and he went by "Johnny" he had a thick accent I wouldn't doubt he lied about his name also. Seriously if you have gotten a referral to this place go somewhere else. First of all "Johnny" You couldve called my doctors office and tried to get that referral if only you were inte in patients and doing your job! The phone experience as a new patient is horrible I can only imagine being there. Good thing I didn't make it to the door. I called my general doctor and they are sending me somewhere else. My experience makes me wonder if I went to the same place as the people who wrote the negative reviews. When you go to a health care practitioner the most important thing is that they make you well. Managed Care Rehab is doing that with physical therapy for my sciatica. It is already significantly less after 2 visits. The gentleman who seems to run the place does good diagnosis and therapy and tells me funny stories, interesting tidbits of wisdom and keeps me amused. Lucy did a very good job on the exercise, ultrasound, massage, etc. She is quite pleasant and caring. I have not had to wait more than a couple minutes. They need to ask for more reviews from their happy patients. I will keep going and would recommend to friends. Joe read more

I called regarding plantar fasciitis, and the lady answering the phone was rude and pushed me off of the phone. When it comes to your personal health and when you have an injury, these physical therapy businesses should have your best interest every time they answer their phone. I obviously will not be going to managed care rehab. Hopefully next time you guys have a better assistant to answer your phones to make sure that they are kind and caring for all of your patients. read more

I just want to have everyone know that they don't need to go to these so-called rehabilitation center OK they're not professional they don't seems to care they put you to lay down onto the table put you on a machine and they're gone and chitchat with the other coworkers and come back in and tell you done give me your paperwork that you can follow the exercise at home and if your insurance extend you more time to go there and get rehabilitation they don't call you at all they did that to me I went there since March of coarse corona virus out of advise prevent us from going dear at the time when they start back all over again and never did even call me that my insurance extended my rehabilitation till September it wasn't for me to call the other office that I have in Valencia I want to have not known at all they are not professional whatsoever they don't seem to care it's all about money and they give very poor service I just want to advise you guys please do not go near the office is very dinosaur anyways and they're not professional and they don't care about it's all about the money thank you read more

Honestly, this place is horrible. I would not recommend it to anyone. I was referred to this "clinic" by my HMO which is the only reason why I ended up there. If I had the option to choose my PT clinic, it would definitely not have been this one. As a Physical Therapy student with over 500 hours worth of volunteer hours, I've worked in really good PT clinics and downright horrible ones. This clinic ranks at the bottom. Way, way, way at the bottom. It's the type of clinic that is more $$$ focused; get as many patients in and out while providing the least amount of care. I was treated by Ms. Rait. She's a very nice and pleasant person; however, not a very good PT. First of all, I was not given a proper evaluation. She asked me where the point of pain was and I showed her. Immediately she laid me on the table and applied the ultrasound for about 3 mins then applied the electronic stimulation for 20 minutes. After all of this, I was done and sent on my way. She did not bother to ask any further questions about my injury. A good PT would ask further, in-depth follow up questions, palpate the site of pain, perform some tests, and do some passive/active stretches with the patient. Personally, I didn't feel better at the end of the treatment at all. Secondly, the receptionists there are really loud and discuss personal issues out in the open, right in front of the patients. While I was there, one receptionist was extremely rude to a poor elderly man (~70+ years old). The receptionist was inpatient, literally yelling at him repeatedly until he became frustrated and left the office. Needless to say, I will not be returning here for any further treatment. I will also be notifying the correct authorities to inspect this so-called treatment center. read more

This place is awful, I have never received worse care from any facility, it started from the front office to my personal care. The place was disgusting torn posters and the floor was fifthly, glass looked as if it hasn't been cleaned in a year. They were not wearing masks. They were inconsiderate, I was laying on the table struggling/slipping off the table trying to get up after having my therapy session and two ladies stood there looking at me, no help at all I had just had knee surgery. I left extremely discouraged. This place is a fraud. After being treated poorly by the front desk the mans names was Mr. Soodjani augured with me, he continued to be rude and yelled at me for having an appointment which I had written down after my first appointment they did not have it in their system. Therefore I was willing to give this place a second shot but this was it for me. I think I am very easy going, I was so taken back at the fact that Soodjan was yelling at me in the waiting room. The real problem was that as I was walking out the door I saw and heard him say in a nasty voice to the entire waiting room that I was wrong, and that I yelled at him making me feel like I was wrong when I was the victim of his harassment. Later that evening I was called by a random person who said his name was Anthony Cisco and that he worked for the company and that Mr. Soodjani was not wrong but that I was, I didn't understand why he even called. I looked on the website no one is named Anthony Cisco with this company, no Valencia office either, how did this man get my personal information, my phone number. I continued to feel harassed. I feel like it is my civic duty to warn people of this place. Please do not let your family or your friends go to managed care rehab in Northridge. read more

I was very disappointed with the therapy skills of this facility. I had a knee replacement and their idea of therapy each time was a little ultrasound on my thigh muscle, massage the top of the scar a little and put on a tens unit with suction cups which irritated the hell out of my knee. That's it! I went 3 times. I knew what type of therapy I was supposed to have if I was to get the range of motion back and this certainly wasn't it. I didn't go back. I had my doctor refer me to Northridge Spine and Sport. They were fabulous. read more
