Went for treatment…read moreevery week, sometimes twice a week, from being immobile (after surgery) to now fully mobile with excellent range of motion, and knowledge of how to maintain the health of the muscles and bones, with correct exercise. It took some time but it is all worthwhile because it is for my health. Everyone in the office, from administrative staff to the therapists, was very friendly and helpful. All the therapists were knowledgeable and very patient. The massage that they did was crucial and helpful as part of the healing journey. I had experience in a couple of other places before I came to B&C, and B&C has been the best & would wholeheartedly recommend this facility.

The clinic has a small gym upfront with treatment tables in the back. Super convenient location in Alhambra with a 4-hr free parking garage. B&C PT is extremely popular and books out weeks in advance. I had to wait ~3-4 weeks for my initial appt, and had to book all my subsequent appts following my first visit to secure dates/times. I work primarily with Ching Ly (the C of B&C lol) and he's super down to earth. He did a comprehensive exam of my neck, measured my neck movements with a goniometer, and confirmed if it was a joint or muscle issue. I've seen several PTs, but no one was as thorough as Ching in trying to figure out the root cause. My treatment plan is pretty straightforward - Managing neck pain with manual therapy, at-home workouts, and then more workouts to strengthen neck, shoulder, and back muscles. If I had to nitpick then it would be the super tedious process of booking upcoming appointments with the front desk receptionist. Nothing PT related. Highly recommend B&C PT! I hope to be free of this annoying pain by the end of my sessions.

When we first started here, my son was speech delayed and no one understood the few words he did say. Mrs. Teresa was able to target his problem areas and gave my son the tools he needed to communicate clearly and effectively. Mrs. Teresa is kind, gentle, patient, stern when needed, and truly invested in my son's growth and progress. They worked hard together during sessions, and she always rewarded my son with play time at the end which he appreciated. She always pushed and challenged him -- every session the improvement was undeniable. My son is a better speaker, a more confident communicator, and is able to focus and apply himself so much more now. I have a daughter at a different clinic who has now seen several different therapists, and I truly don't think with them all combined they could do what Mrs. Teresa does. She is an expert in the field and my son and I were truly blessed to work with her! Shout out to Miss Rosa who runs a tight ship! She truly keeps everything running smoothly, handles everything from scheduling to billing to whatever else falls on her lap, and she always does it with a welcoming and warm smile. When my son started he was a shy quiet boy with a limited vocabulary. Not very expressive. With the help of Miss Ashley he became talkative, expressive, silly and so much more. I truly believe she helped him come out of his shell and feel comfortable expressing himself. My son felt really comfortable and truly enjoyed going to each session. They are a great team to work with. I dealt directly with Miss Ashley for any cancellations or rescheduling. When we started in the summer I didn't get the time slot that I wanted because I had to commute from school. But by the time school started there was a time slot that was better for me. It is what you expect when you go into a medical facility but don't always receive that type of care. At Reliant Urgent care in Montebello we did! I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff at DG. I saw a comment below about the employees walking around without shoes and that being unprofessional, and I think that needs more explaining. They ask the kids to take off their shoes as well, it's to keep the therapy rooms and equipment clean and in good condition for all their patients. Monica who calls me to schedule or reschedule appointments is great and very understanding of the fact that we have a super packed schedule with my son due to his needs. She is not pushy and always tries to accommodate us. Karley, my son's OT therapist, is the nicest/sweetest person. She is super patient with him, and in the year that she's been with him he's made a number of wonderful improvements. Diana and Floribel have worked with my son for PT, and although it was a rough start and only a few months in he has made great strides as well. I will continue to bring my son to DG as long as we see him making positive changes in his development and as long as my interaction with the staff continues to be a positive one.

When you have a hammer, all you see are nails to be hammered down. Dr. Zhao not only treats me as a pin cushion and justifies every aspect of pain that I have with injections and medicine that don't really help, he gets annoyed when you try to see if there are other options. Perhaps he is that way because he knows nothing else and treats everyone as if they all have the same condition. I ended up going to a different hospital affiliate and they immediately said that my condition, which is severe disc degeration, needed a different type of procedure that actually targets the source of the pain. That procedure at the other hospital immensely helped my pain, and this bothered me because I spent so much time putting my faith in Dr. Zhao who just kept doing the same stuff over and over and just wants me to magically get better. All in all, he appears to be very tunnel visioned when treating patients, and I think he thinks everything can be solved with an injection rather than actually figuring out the root cause.
