This is a smaller section in the Four Seasons with a Japanese-style izakaya menu. We ordered the shrimp toast, a sushi roll, and the special gyoza. All 3 dishes were fabulous. The best bite, however, was the shrimp toast! Crunchy but so soft and pillowy with a delicious shrimp filling. Would definitely come back just for that! Service was great. Our server was as very kind. This would be a great spot if you want to have a little more "upscale" atmosphere without burning a too big of a hole in your wallet.

A perfect location, on lagoon 3 in Ko Olina at the Four Seasons. We were seated facing the ocean with an unobstructed view (at least by other patrons). Serene and beautiful! (Pro tip--leave your phone in your purse.) We ordered the Neko Neko and Mai tai cocktails. The Mai tai was made with mezcal and we traded drinks because it was more my jam. It was a piece of art in the creation and Bryce put on an entertaining show for us! Brie was our server and she was just right--friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered the red phoenix roll ("it's for tuna lovers, says Brie) and the KFC cauliflower, which rivals the ver best cauliflower at Bamboo Sushi in Portland. Both--divine! The sushi roll was fresh and packed generously with tuna (as promised). Bring dental floss if you're on a date. There's seasoning akin to Everything But the Bagel, without the flavor. Highly recommend this chill, romantic spot!

My mama and I spent a weekend at the four seasons over Mother's Day weekend and decided to treat ourselves to one splurge meal while on property (we're not those locals who can afford to staycation often). Manalo was open air, ocean view and didn't require reservations, so we opted for the more casual atmosphere compared to the other restaurants onsite. Every tapas style dish was delicious and felt consciously crafted. My favorite was the firecracker shrimp, which was on the special menu, but we also enjoyed a roll, eggplant, and kfc cauliflower. The plates were surprisingly large and we had leftovers--4 dishes could have probably fed 3 people. While they had a craft cocktail menu, we opted for a manhattan and traditional old fashion. They tasted just as carefully crafted as one would expect, and were a perfect compliment to the fanciest girl dinner I'll probably ever eat.

Quality food and service on a beautiful oceanfront! What more could you ask for? I was genuinely surprised at how great the food was with such a serene and peaceful ambiance. The hours of service are short but sweet at the time we dined in, closing just after 9p. We're very used to this in Hawaii! Went for a girls night out, starting with drinks at the neighboring bar and got seated promptly at our reservation time 7:45p. Did not wait too long for our food to arrive and our server Lea was so amicable throughout our dining experience! Will be back for the ono seafood, yakitori, and sushi with a sweet beachfront view. Mahalo Manalo Lounge!

If you want a place that's got a great view of the ocean in comfortable cushy chairs, stellar cocktails with a calming low key vibe, this is it! Located in the Four Seasons Hotel in Ko Olina on west side of Oahu. After going past the guard booth, make a right turn at the first traffic light. Valet parking is available - no self parking- and free with validation from restaurant. Walking into lobby, you continue straight ahead to go down some stairs. Turn left and walk around the pool past Mina's Fish House, you will see a large vertical sign for Manalo Lounge. The complete look of this lounge is exactly how you would want a nice quiet place on the beach to watch the sunset. Lots of couches with tables and even some half moon tables facing the ocean for two with same cushy chairs to lean back in and relax. No recorded or live music, so there's no distractions, just the beauty of Cove 1. The weather was perfect with the right amount of onshore winds and sun setting was super bright so bring dark glasses. It's a completely uncovered area with no umbrellas so maybe do a weather check before heading over as there isn't anywhere else to move tables if it rains. We were greeted immediately by Matt, our server for the evening and he was very professional and knowledgeable about the food and offered some good suggestions. Menu had a lot of small plates and tons of specialty cocktails. So if you want a complete meal this is not the place. Matt suggested the Wagyu spears, red Phoenix Roll (see pic) and we also opted for chicken wings and the cauliflower. Not the largest portions but tasted delicious with delicate Eurasian flavors, and can't put a price on the view! Matt brought our cocktails first which were the Manhattan (with a show) smoky under a glass dome removed and just smell that flavor! This was a Saturday at 5:30 pm so we could catch the sunset at 6:30. The service was great, turned out strung lights and little light on our table, bussers made sure plates were cleared, waters refilled in little ceramic teacups, and the bill was as expected for any resort on the beach. I'm gonna check on possible private party as it would be perfect for a small wedding reception, baby shower, surprise birthday or anniversary.

This was the perfect place to end our DIY holiday photo session. The vibes, the view, and the very yummy cocktail and dishes! Can't forget the music! I love it here, such a good place to be intimate with your party and just be. The service was impeccable, I can't remember our server's name but he was personable and on it with dishes coming out, super accommodating for my little one, and the reason why I still believe good people are out there. Definitely need to come out here again!

Beautiful setting and atmosphere. This up scale space has a tasting menu with several choices for your group. They did a good job with the many allergies at our table. Come prepared to spend for small portions. Our service was good and our waiter was very kind. While we waited for our food they brought each of us a salmon nigiri. They did cater to my shellfish allergy and not put crab on top. That was so kind of them. The couple we visited with had the wagyu steak on hot plate and a roll that has shrimp in the middle. They enjoyed their items. Husband and I ordered the ahi and the spicy tuna roll. We all ordered the skewers. They were okay. Nothing special at all. I thought the ahi would have been much taster if it wasn't saturated in a ginger dressing. It was overpowering. The slices melt in your mouth and the pickled onions are actually the show stopper. The Mai tai was good, I had mine unsmoked while my husband had his as the menu stated. It is not in my top 10 of island Mai tai's. Monkey Pod knocks this one out of the park for half the price.

Birthday vibes in full tropical effect! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening with sunshine, ocean breeze, and the kind of golden-hour glow that makes you feel like you're in a dream. We dined beachside soaking up that luxe island energy with every bite. Yeah, the food leans $$$ (hello, $90 uni roll ), but honestly? You're not just paying for the dish, you're buying front-row seats to paradise. Even if the uni didn't rock our world, the view sure did. From sunny skies to a sunset that melted into the waves, chef's kiss. And the bonus? Free 4-hour parking validation when you dine at the resort, so no valet drama. It was a beautiful, breezy, star-studded kinda night (low-key hoping for a celeb sighting ), and I felt nothing but gratitude. Truly a blessed birthday in island-style luxury.

We came here for my girlfriend's birthday and I gotta say the food, the vibes, and the service was excellent!!! As soon as we were seated Brie came by and took care of our waters and gave us some recommendations for what food to order. Matt came right after to get our drink and food orders. Per recommendation from Brie we got the Korean Fried Chicken Cauliflower which was sooo good! We also got the Scallops which were good as well!. The other dishes were the pork skewers, shrimp bread, and one of the specials of the day the calamari. Everything we ate was so good! To top it off we got the toasted rice ice cream with butterscotch miso sauce and that, that was a great way the end the night. The perfect blend of sweet and salty. We will definitely be back!

Yum! We didn't know what to expect of the food from this outdoor lounge...but it was WAY better than expected and WAY better than all the food we ate all along the beach of Ko'olina. It's tucked at the end at the Four Seasons where you can enjoy the sunset while eating. We had the Pork Belly Skewers, "KFC" Korean Fried Caulifower and Spicy Sunset Roll Spicy hamachi, charred scallion & ginger, wasabi tobiko. To drink we had Water Wahine (Tequila, aperol, guava, coconut), and Naupaka Spritz (Reyka vodka, crémant, lychee, mint, pea flower). They surprised my daughter with a delicious Strawberry Cream rolles in Green Tea Sponge Cake. The service was very attentive and catering to our needs especially with my 7 month old grandson who got his hands on the Water Wahine and spilled everywhere before it hit our table . Our server was gracious enough to get another. Mahalo to the staff and the chef for a wonderful birthday dinner We then took a stroll on the path towards the Secret Beach and took the perfect sunset photo.

This place is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Came here to kick off my birthday weekend and this place did not disappoint!! The food was fabulous, the drinks were on fire; and the scenery and ambiance, unmatched! If you're looking for a chill, high lux place with the highest level of customer service, this is it!. They also had George T. Stagg hidden at another restaurant which they brought over for my hubby. Fkn awesome sauce! See our guy Abe Kim, the food and beverage manager there, for the best damn A5 Wagyu smoked old fashioned!! He is bomb.com!

Comfortable, relaxed, Asian inspired ocean front lounge with a stunning sunset / twilight vista. Inspired dishes that showcase Island ingredients. Well crafted libations. Just remember, when it rains, it pours. Literally. IMPORTANT: Check the weather forecast and satellite imagery BEFORE committing to the evening. There is no shelter and when it rains, all they give you is an umbrella. See my previous review for information on the libations. The menu reads well. Plates are well presented but some need tweeking. For example, the "Four Seasons Oahu Roll", looks great but taste off balance. The flavor of the fish is lost in the excessive shiso. There is so little avocado wasabi aioli and tobiko it is impossible to appreciate either the texture or flavor. The miso broiled salmon as a lettuce wrap is very flavorful and perfectly cooked but the crispy fried leeks are so over salted. The standout dish, an INCREDIBLE Toasted rice ice cream sundae. An Asian take on salted caramel ice cream. The almost nutty, mildly sweet ice cream is surrounded by salty furikake and bubu arare and topped with a furikake pizzelle. Pour an umami rich, warm miso butterscotch all over, and experience a flavor explosion of sweet and savory tones. One of the best desserts I've had post pandemic. Service is an issue. When the weather is nice, it is outstanding. Four Seasons proper in every respect. When it rains, guests are moved to La Hiki. Service becomes disorganized and flustered. Management needs to have a plan. -- We were told to leave our drinks and someone would bring them to the new table. NO. All drinks should be remade for guests. I was delivered a $35 old fashioned filled to near overflowing with rain water. -- After the move, food was not only being brought to wrong tables but worse, walked through the restaurant and shown to various tables with "is this your food?". Lots of potential but at Vegas ultra lounge prices (food $25+/ dish, drinks $25+.each), service must improve and food remain consistent regardless of what the weather may bring.

I loved the manalo lounge!! we weren't staying at the 4 seasons, but they offer 4 hours of free valet parking if you're eating at the restaurant, which was nice because parking in ko'olina can be a nightmare. The service was amazing they were very attentive and quick to refill drinks. We were sat by the fireplace which was nice for after sunset when it got a little chilly. they also will turn it down/up if you ask. The food was amazing, I forgot to take pictures of all the food we got because it was so good haha.

The LHK burger is satisfying but for $30 is on the high side even if it comes with the side of onion rings. The eggplant a la plancha was really light as it was one eggplant steak with labneh. When we checked in, they were very hospitable and took a complimentary photo near the front kiosk. We waited momentarily and were seated in a both. There were overhead fans above us and we noticed there were gnats peppering our table. The gnats continued to engulf the table making it look like a Dalmatian and this triggered my daughter with high stress and anxiety. We hadn't ordered drinks or food yet. I went back to the hostess and said that we would like to be relocated to a table toward the outer side of the restaurant and away from the fans that were blowing gnats on the table. They apologized for the recent bug infestation and I got a text from my wife saying that the server was in the process of moving us to another table. I had a hard time believing that the staff noticed this issue and didn't rectify it without me having to say that it was problematic. Then after we moved, it was another 15 minutes before a server asked for our drink order. It was simple, three iced teas and an apple juice. My daughter got her juice but the iced tea didn't come for another 15 minutes. We were 50 minutes into being seated and we hadn't ordered food so I had to go back to the hostess and ask for the manager. The menu here is prix fixe at $140 for a four course meal and this is not including a kids meal for my daughter and drinks. I told the manger that I thought the service here was unacceptable and that we hadn't ordered our food or got our drinks almost an hour into service. He was apologetic and immediately met with the servers in the kitchen. We finally got our iced teas and the server said they were "special" and it was pineapple juice added to them, like a tropical Arnold Palmer. Here's a suggestion, please don't add stuff to our drinks. I know he was trying to be polite, but it was not very good. So our orders were taken almost an hour after being seated. At least there were no bugs where we were seated. My daughter was itchy and wouldn't stop scratching after the bug attack from our initial seating. I left and went to the Aulani amenities store inside the lobby of the hotel and returned with Benadryl. At this point my daughter just wanted to go back to the room and was exhausted. I too was a little disappointed at the overall night. I was celebrating my birthday and retirement, and this was not the special dinner I was expecting. When I got back to the hotel room, my wife texted that they were getting the meal "to go" and heading on their way back. Our server had mentioned that they were going to provide 2 of our meals gratis and I wanted to make sure my wife knew this. She said they didn't charge for the meal at all. I think the restaurant was worried about my daughter having a medical issue and asked if we needed help. I feel like the restaurant had observed our continual dismay and noted things they observed but took no active action to resolve along the way. For a high end restaurant, customer service is as important if not more important than the food. By the way, my wife brought back our food to the hotel room and it was less than stellar. The portions were scant, the scallops undercooked, and the catch of the day which was Hawaiian Ono caught locally was overcooked and dry. So service aside, the food was not particularly spectacular. I hope Yelpers pay attention to my review and really think twice about eating here. Just because it's inside the Aulani Resort, it doesn't mean that it's good. Dinner tonight was an epic failure. Even if they didn't charge us, it was an unpleasant experience not worth repeating. I have not included any photos in my review due to my utter dismay.

The booking was very straightforward, they don't charge a space rental fee as long as your party spends at least $1000 on food and drinks altogether. It doesn't have to be on one check, as long as it all adds up. We were able to decorate the area a bit for the party. Of course if you plan on partying here be wary of making too much of a mess or damaging things. Kiki then helped me preorder all the food for the party, and she also assisted with the surprise. Ashley was our server for the night and she did amazing! I was bothering her and Kiki and asking them questions all night and they were so nice and patient the entire time. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, it was as if they were family friends :) the speed of service was great too. I know we put the bartenders to WERK but the drinks still came out in such a timely manner. Finally, the food and drinks were BOMB. I've only been here a couple times before this, so I got to try a lot of items i haven't before at the party. Everyone was raving about the food! So many people who haven't been to DB grill before said they found their new spot. And if you like to drink, they have something for everyone. My grandma kept asking for more soju cocktails . The only thing I would warn about is that the AC is poppin upstairs, so bring a jacket. I would give 10 stars if I could. We love the DB grill crew!!!

**DB Grill was a mixed experience for a get-together with friends.**…read more The food was actually pretty good overall. We tried the wings and poke nachos, and both were solid. The portions were good, the prices were decent, and it's the type of menu that works well for sharing with a group. Service was okay. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but they were efficient. Parking was good, and the overall vibe was chill, though it did get a bit noisy. The biggest issue was the condition of the restaurant. The place felt pretty run down. The floors were very dirty, the seats were torn and patched with electrical tape, and the windows were so dirty that we actually thought the restaurant had shut down one day when we were walking by. The bathrooms were also pretty gross, even for a casual bar/restaurant. I wanted to like it more because the food itself was good, but the cleanliness and upkeep really took away from the experience. They definitely need to do a better job maintaining the place. I'd probably only return if I heard they had cleaned up and refreshed the entire restaurant.
