Located inside Embassy Suites in Kapolei I came here for the buffet breakfast. And to be honest, not bad. Typical American buffet as I would describe. To start you have a good amount of food to choose. They got omelet station, cereal station, pastry station, hot cereal station, fresh fruits station and the fried area (which by the way is my favorite station). I never tried everything as it was too much. Got the chance to try the fried area station bacon, sausage, omelet & white rice. Then banana & pineapple for my fruits - freshly sliced. It was a typical breakfast setup and I love it. They got coffee & juices also tea if you need help to push down all the solid food you've eat. The dining area was cleaned & the staffs are on the look out for people who need plate or a table to dine in. They were prompt hardworking people & I appreciate them so much! I leave the place with a full belly & I can barely get up from my seat. Lol. I admit I went back twice for that bacon & rice, can't go wrong with this duo. Lol. Would love to come back here for their dining experience & I can't wait! Mahalo for reading & happy juandering fellow Yeeps.

We were greeted with a very nice smiling face once we walked in. He sat us at the table and our server quickly arrived to take our drink order. The food came out fresh and hot. The appetizers were served well ahead of the main course so we had time to enjoy it. My favorite was the mahi mahi in butter and caper sauce. Next in line was the huli huli cornish hen. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had the lilikoi sorbet and the mocha ice cream. Our sever Pukana (I hope I spelled that correctly) was very attentive and gave great recommendations. You can tell she takes pride in her job. I will definitely come back if ever I'm on the west side again. Must try: Pupus: -kalbi fries -chicken wings -chicken quesadillas -calamari Entres- -mahi mahi in butter caper sauce -ribeye steak -fish and chips -huli huli cornish game hen

Located inside of Embassy Suites with free street parking right up front. The best way that I can describe the ambiance, is that it feels like a diner, but it's not. There was a family next to us staying at the hotel, that gave us their drink tickets. But we couldn't use them, because we weren't staying there, so that went to waste. The service was interesting. It didn't seem like they were very organized or had a system going. Our food came out in a decent time frame but the Huli Huli chicken was still pink inside. The server looked at us funny when we sent it back, but we kindly just asked them to nuke it in the microwave if that. I think the best part of the meal were the kalbi fries and the bread pudding bites, but I don't know if that's enough, for me to drive all the way out to the west side, to have it again.

Not bad for free breakfast for staying at the Embassy! No pictures because I didn't want to hold up the buffet line. But there was a cute oatmeal bar! Yum! Assortment if breads and bagels. Plenty of drinks. A toaster, breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, and breakfast potatoes. There is also an omelette station!!! What is difficult is finding an empty table. No complaints for a free meal for the entire family!!! Thank you!

I came to Sprigs Grille for dinner because my friend is staying at the Embassy Suites in Kapolei. We were on a time crunch and needed to find a place to eat before their meeting, so we were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant within the hotel. The restaurant offers a handful of options from drinks, appetizers, entrées, and desserts. There's also a bar inside as well. For dinner, I opted for the Spinach Salad with no feta cheese. I expected a small salad but the portion for it was massive! It was topped with plenty of sliced almonds and golden raisins and the hard-boiled egg was a nice add-on. The only thing I would've changed is to have had the dressing on the side since my salad was drenched in it. The salad also came with three slices of cheesy bread--some pieces soggy while others were crispy. After mixing everything together it was pretty good! Vaccinations cards are required to dine in. The restaurant is quiet, clean, and there's ample seating. We were one of the only groups dining in but service was slow--a little over 30 minutes for us to get our food. This is probably due to the restaurant being understaffed as well as busy with room service and takeout orders. Despite all of this, our server was extremely kind and accommodating! Make sure to check in on Yelp to receive one free appetizer of the chef's choice! Tonight it was Mozzarella Sticks--which my friends liked but I didn't try any. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed our meals but agreed that nothing stood out. If you're staying at the Embassy Suites it's a great dining option but I don't think I'd come here otherwise.

What a pleasant surprise! We're staying at the embassy suites in Kapolei for a bit and here there's a restaurant inside of the hotel. I was skeptical but my son really wanted to come try this place out for dinner and I'm so happy we did. Looking at the menu it actually had some very appetizing things to pick from. From pastas, to a burger, steak, fish and salads there was a bit of everything without being too extensive of a menu. There was a free appetizer for checking in on Yelp- so we got onion rings. We also ordered calamari. Then for dinner my son went with their cheeseburger and fries from the kids meal it was actually as big as an adult plate which was nice because sometimes kids meals don't give enough. My husband had ordered the basil pasta with mahi mahi and I went with the fresh caught mahi mahi that came with fingerling potatoes, green beans, mushrooms and a lemon caper butter sauce. The whole meal was actually really delicious. The Kids split a cheesecake for dessert too and left not one crumb. The only downside would be this was a pretty busy place and they were extremely understaffed with just a hostess and one waitress. The hostess actually ended up taking our order. With that being said though they were both so friendly and it seems like more of a management issue with not having enough coverage. With that being said remember there might be a bit of a wait due to the shortage unless it was just an off day for us. But be kind to the staff they really work hard.

Let's start with the service; it will it was amazing. We had a female server I do not know her name but it started with a P. She was tentative super nice very fast and very professional. She was by far one of the best services we've had in Hawaii. The food we had were the Kalbi fries which were to die for. The $16 is worth the price of the appetizer. I was so full from eating that that I didn't even eat my main entrée all the way because that's how good the fries are. I don't know what they put in the sauce but it is addicting and the fries once again are amazing and well cooked. The Kalua pork sliders were tender and soft and the bread was not soggy. This place is definitely worth a try

Been here twice. The dining area is so dim and gloomy. The music is extremely loud and ruins the vibe of how looks like it should be. Service is friendly. Nice, polite employees. The huli chicken is what brought me back! OMG, possibly the best huli chicken ever. The corn was horrible, but the chicken was delicious. Very small serving for the price of I think, $26? My husband had the rib eye, which he liked. The second time we went there, I wanted to try the fish and chips. Nice, meaty pieces. Taste was good. Sauce was, come on Spriegs, you can do better. Next time, I want to try the Alfredo.

A big plate of salty mush...

This review is for their dine-in Thanksgiving dinner. We've eaten here twice before on Thanksgiving and ordered the take-out last year due to Covid. I give four stars because Sprigs Grill is clean and modern with a nice airy Hawaiian vibe to it. Service is excellent as well. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in the quality of their Thanksgiving meal. The turkey taste more like pulled pork and the mixed veggies were canned, not fresh steamed. The main complaint was the entire meal was so salty. It was nasty. The staff were very kind and offered to replace the dish but the wife declined knowing the meal is already pre-cooked and will still be salty. The staff made up for it by giving a substantial discount on the meal, which was very kind and greatly appreciated. But, it was still a disappointing Thanksgiving dinner. Sprigs Grill is highly recommended just not for Thanksgiving dinner. The wine and pumpkin pie was great.

Sprigs service is excellent, our server Jill was super, prices are reasonable the Kalbi fries appetizer was ono and filling. We gave it a try last night and going back tonight taking a friend for a birthday dinner. We like to support restaurants in the Westside. Free parking! Quiet peaceful atmosphere with faint Hawaiian music overhead making it easy to carry on relaxing conversation. We wanted to try somewhere new and so glad we did the yelp review about Sprigs were convincing. We read Yelp reviews about other restaurants in Ko Olina area. Read about a chef named restaurant having small overcooked portions taking 1 1/2 hrs.

    Mahi Mahi lettuce wraps, fresh

Wanting to try somewhere new we found ourselves here for lunch! We walked into Embassy Suites over to Sprig's Grille around 12pm. No one was there...so I asked the front desk what time they open and she said lunch is served on the bar side by the pool - same food! So we sat out by the pool. The food was good. We ordered: Wings: we asked to have them just plain fried with the sauce on the side. These were delicious! So crispy and full of flavor. The sauce was pretty sweet so I'm glad we didn't get them tossed. The wings themselves were VERY small though! I enjoyed this the most out of all of our food. Kalua pork quesadilla: this was a different take on a quesadilla, it was more like a roll - pan fried and crispy all around. I wish there was more cheese inside! It was still good though. It had a lot of flavor. Mahi Mahi lettuce wraps: the Mahi was cooked well, but it didn't have much flavor. The lettuce and veggies were very fresh but it was a bit messy to eat. Overall we spent about $61 for lunch for two including tip. The menu is pretty small so don't worry about being indecisive, and I expected the prices to be a little inflated because it's in a hotel. I'm glad I tried this place out!

Yet another fantastic dinner here at Sprigs! And the Huli Huli chicken was CRAZY GOOD! I can't believe I haven't tried it until now! The chicken is my new go-to dish

I will say i did taste it and it was meh... - another kiddo got the shoyu noodles and its plain. So if you got a simple palate plain jane child, they will like this one. For drinks, it depends on taste and preferences. I was bummed on this one. Mainly looking fwd to the drinks and it didn't satisfy my tastebuds. It was too twisted, fusion, modified etc. i prefer a mai tai a plain old fashioned mai tai without the fixings. The orange foam was too strong it overwhelmed the dark rum im used to and prefer. So i decided to try the ube rey instead which was much better but still not as much to my liking/preferences. Went back to Aulani a but bummed and decided to get another at Aulani the next day instead and I will say, i liked it better as it followed the more traditional way of making it. So if you prefer traditional ways, this may not be for you and if planning to drink, simply keep with the simplier generic drinks, wine or beer. If you prefer to try different ways and flavors, then you will love this. Service was great and our server was attentive at all times. Thank you. Ambiance was good but outdoor seating may be a bit of a nuance due to flies swarming around you often. The swinging table fan helps but are still annoying plus the tropical heat also didn't help.

We went in on a Saturday night with reservations and I highly recommend it since the place was full when we went in and more people kept wanting to come and eat. Service was great from beginning to end, I especially love that everyone accommodated my stroller and my baby. There were four of us and we each got something different, but to start I highly suggest the steamed shrimp and pork wontons and the lechon style Brussels - I would've double-ordered those for my entree if I could have! For entrees we ordered the garlic noodles, misoyaki butterfish, seared catch-of-the-day, and the burger. They were all amazing, and after we all started letting each other try we started making our own "flights" because everything just hit different spots and flavor profiles. In summary, this is one of those places that doesn't care about aesthetics, the decor is casual, but the food is soooo ono. We all ordered separate dishes and although nothing was completely amazing and mind blowing. It all hit the spot as delicious and hit the spot. The portions are generous, the menu has an amazing variety. I had the special fish, which was ahi blackened tuna on mashed potatoes. I loved it. My husband had the roast beef dip, tender with a side of au jus. To round out the orders were the burger (basic), Caesar (well dressed) and a generous sized chicken club. Our waitress was pleasant. The music gave great vibes. Will stop back again on this trip.

Also, did I really want a Sonic burger? The answer was an easy no. Did a quick search and found this place which I had no idea existed but now I know they exist in an excellent way. People come here to drink, I'm not a drinker but there was plentynof alcoholic beverages on the back wall for your choice that it could be overwhelming. This is a bar with indoor seating and a World Cup game was on. I think there was outdoor seating but it looked like a different restaurant to me. We ordered dirty fries, a sweet tea, the simple smash, village smash, and sweet tea. I have to admit, I'm overly harsh on burgers but from the first bite, this hit right to me. The dirty fries were good also. We washed down that salt with their mildly sweet sweet tea. That's the only miss for me as I like deep sweet tea thanks to some time spent in Mississippi earlier in life. Their food put themselves on my radar so we will definitely be back as we didn't even scratch the other meats they had on menu.

Since the restaurant looked very busy, I waited another 25 minutes, until about 8:45 PM. I then asked for an update on my order, and I was told it would be another 20 minutes. At that point, I asked if my order had even been started, considering it was only two Smash Burgers and an order of fries. Given the excessive delay and lack of communication, I requested a refund. The long wait and poor updates were very disappointing, especially since I had placed my order in advance for pickup.

We went on a Saturday, getting to the resort before 4:30 and then up we went with our special key from the front desk. We didn't have to use the key. When we got to the room, it is unassuming as it blends in with other rooms...except not. Followed the instructions on the door and it was so cool we closed the door and video taped it. I think it threw off the people working as they expected patrons. The walk in the hallway threw me off a little but after you walk through the small room...WOW. All I had to say was WOW. Because I had no expectation everything was so exciting. There was a "rooftop bar" feel to the place and the view was so nice. (Although I could do with less tree-view) It would have been nice to have been early enough to get seats at the railing but we didn't know you could get there before 4:30 and there was already a few groups there. Seating is first come first serve so we opted for a high top table tucked in the back that the 4 of us could sit and chat but still enjoy the view. I took a few photos but mostly enjoyed the ambiance and the girl talk. I don't know why I thought there would be light pupus but nope, no food. Just some olives and nuts. I wish I took photos of the drink selection menu because I don't remember what was in my drink. The names of the cocktails were fun though! I enjoyed a "Lifted 'Yota" which was fun and tasty. They also serve mocktails if you don't want to have the alcohol. All in all, I loved the experience we had and my friends and I look forward to coming back. I mean, there's an extensive beverage list and I must try something else!
