As soon as my husband and I walked in, we were not acknowledged throughout our visit by two of the sales people. I even tried to asked questions but was ignored. No one came to ask if we needed any help. Felt really judged here. Very bad customer service. Too bad we didn't read the negative reviews before going here. Kylie and Crow were extremely wonderful during our buying experience. Kylie took the time to go over with us all the details we wanted for the couch and helped us pick out exactly the configuration we wanted. She spent over an hour with us that first day making sure we got exactly what we wanted. She kept in touch with us through text and even brought it to our attention when a new promotion came up(the same week). Crow was really great during our final check out process, he made sure that we had all the details correct and even let us bring in our dog to compare it's fur against the swatches. I came here on a Sunday afternoon to look at the Supersac beanbag. I think a lot of us have always wanted a gigantic beanbag since we were kids. I wanted to finally make that dream come true as an adult. It was a busy day at Lovesac and Both Taylor and Mike were working on the floor and instantly greeted me without any hesitation. Even though they were flooded with customers, they made me feel very welcome and reassured me that they will help me as soon as they could. They made me feel extremely comfortable to sit, lay, or even jump on the furniture. Of course I immediately went to jump on the gigantic beanbag. Because of their amazing service, I walked out with a purchase of the Supersac beanbag and a new loveseat couch! I couldn't have been happier with my experience and the amazing customer service is what made me want to spend my money with this company (and the furniture is extremely comfortable). There was a great sale and I was awarded with the heros discount for being a medical worker. Thank you so much Taylor and Mike for being awesome and helping me to your best abilities! Amanda, Effrain, and Stacey all helped me pick out the most amazing 6-seater sofa! The showroom is clean and sanitized and only 6 people are allowed inside at a time; including the staff. I felt very safe coming in and sitting on the sofas... I see they spray/sanitize the cushions after each group comes in. They provide swatch samples as well. Ordering is extremely easy and organized. TRULY enjoyed my experience with the staff at this location from start to finish. Mike was fantastic -- I visited 5-6 times over a four month period as I conceptualized what I wanted to do. He patiently walked me through all of it, was super helpful in putting together a bill of goods, evaluating different fabrics and making sure I was comfortable with what I was buying. Could not have asked for a more customer-centric buying process and he was fantastic implementing it from start to finish. As for the product itself -- INCREDIBLE. I had been searching for the right new couch for a year. This one is a no-brainer, especially because it's evergreen. If anything eventually wears out or gets damaged, you replace that small part, not the whole couch. Definitely recommend checking into what they have. A few years ago I purchased a sactional from this store. I told them I wanted a sectional with three deep seats and two long seats plus an ottoman. So I got 6 seats with one deep seat back. It has always been frustrating because the back cushions of the three deep seats are always squished and falling over, even when using the deep seat back cushion. After doing years of research online and in store, it appears that I actually need to have three back cushions that are deep seat back cushions for this to work. It is extremely frustrating that this was never explained to me when the sales guy knew exactly what I wanted to do. So now the way I see it, I have three choices: 1. Keep it as-is with squished backs that fall over constantly, 2. Buy two new deep back cushions which will probably cost a couple hundred dollars, plus probably having to buy new covers for the entire couch because I doubt they still sell the same one I bought four years ago, or 3. Change the configuration of my setup. None of these options are appealing, especially considering this couch cost over $4,000, even with 35% off and is supposed to last for life. I've tried contacting Lovesac through chat and on their site, but the chat is never available and their site only allows a few characters to explain your issue. I just think that when you spend several thousands of dollars on a piece of furniture, it should work the way that it's supposed to, and minimally your sales person should let you know what exactly you'll need to set it up correctly. If anyone from Lovesac monitors this, please let me know if there is anything that I can do that is not going to cost me several hundreds of dollars to make my configuration work. read more

I went in knowing we wanted to purchase a couch but wanted more clarity on the warranty and whatnot. I also wanted to compare the Costco bundle with the in store promotions. Tekari was absolutely amazing. She did a side by side price comparison for us to we knew what was the best option. When I came is last Monday to purchase my furniture, I mentioned my friend's name, who had purchased 2 lovesactionals for her new home. Jamelah and Alexandra, who were both very helpful, said it was nice. After I got the email with my invoice, I noticed there was a refer a friend section... so I immediately reached out via email. Lovesac created a case. I called the San ramon office and spoke to Alexandra. She talked to Stacy the manager... but Stacy said my friend isn't eligible for the $100 referral because she never submitted it when she bought her two sactionals. First of all, the salesperson should have mentioned it, so my friend never knew about the refer a friend program. I really don't think it's fair. After all, what's $100 to keep a customer happy versus the $$$$+ or more she spent , on top of what I spent and other people my friend unknowingly referred to lovesac. Lovesac is just being really stingy!!!! Lovesac should be more upfront about their referral program. It's bad business practice!!! I give jamelah and Alexandra 5 stars because they're helpful and professional.... But Stacy a one star for the way she's handling this matter. She should know to keep a customer happy goes a long way for your business. Refer a friend where we both get our bonus will go a long way. read more

Needed to replace our old couch since the kids are 7 and 9. Went into Love Sac and Sarah was so helpful, knowledgeable, and had great customer service. When I was making my purchase, I wanted to make sure that she got a commission since she went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and gave us ideas for the different configurations with and without the speaker experience. Their Refer a Friend program does not work! I referred a friend and entered it online before she purchased. The request said PENDING. The sales rep told her that she will need to purchase first before she gets it. Now that' she received her sectional, I called customer service to ask for both our $100 coupons but she said we are not eligible anymore since she should have used it with her first time purchase. Lovesac clearly needs to: 1. Educate their employees on how this process works and 2. When it's truly a confusion due to its employees misinformation, Lovesac should send the coupon anyways ! read more

Update: was able to speak to Sandy who apologized and agreed that we should have known about putting it together and provided an additional 5% off. Advised they would put a ticket into to fix issue of clearing cache and that training would be implemented to ensure they know how to balance customers which is great. Satisfied but will add to this review once I get couch to provide process of ease or not in regards to putting it together. I came in your San Ramon store today and am not happy with my experience on 12/23/21. I had been dealing with Alexandra who is very nice and had helped us a week ago and the Initial time we came in, Nina didn't event speak. Alexandra has kept in contact with us via text which was awesome so we came back to get the couch. When I walked in I sat down as she was helping someone. So after some time of me sitting there, Nina came over to assist. She began helping me with no issue and again was very nice . Then 20 minutes in some other women walked in and she went to help them and left me for more than 5-7 min which I found to be rude. It's one thing if they have a question and you assist quickly but that was not the case and she said Alexandra could help but she couldn't help me as she stated she was new and didn't know how to assist with checking out. So I had to request Nina to come back and help me which I found to be very rude. Another thing I'm not too happy about is when I needed to check my email to see if I had received something from this transaction and I asked Nina to provide me with the WiFi she refused and said they don't give it out. How do you have bad service and then not provide access when you don't have a strong signal. I had to have my daughter come in so I could use her wifi. Next thing that I was really upset about is I didn't find out you have to put it together yourself until I paid for the couch. This is a big purchase and to not explain this is really upsetting and to shrug it off like it's DIY and not hard is quite surprising. I think that was something I should have known about before the purchase and believe Alexandra should have explained this more clearly our first time as this was a shock to myself and my husband. Final issue when I was allowed to input my information in their computer I saw other people's information, I requested for her to clear her cache so customers couldn't see other information and she said that is not a problem and I think in this day and age. Came here on a Monday evening 15 mins to 7pm just before closing to finally look at the different sacs since this store is usually pretty busy on the weekends and Fridays especially after following Covid guidelines they limit the amount of customers allowed in store. I really wasn't planning on being "that" customer that waltzes into a retail store only minutes before closing to do a big transaction, but the the two lovely sales associate Amanda and Stacey were not only knowledgeable, helpful, but extremely down to earth and friendly! They actually didn't mind me making a purchase that late into the evening. So ladies- this review is for you both! Thank you for your amazing customer service with a smile! I'm disappointed in this Love-sac location the lack of professionalism is beyond my understanding. The establishment is way to nice to be ran by 2 airheads it's just a waste. The disorganization is beyond me. The manger (which I am confused how she got this title) to call her that, is so rude and speaks people however she wants and flat out wrong. I was in this establishment and the managers and employees talk about customer terribly as if they don't come in to spend the hard earned money. Definitely not a place I would shop and I definitely don't recommend. Love-sac something has to change because this is definitely a disappointment to company's name. read more
