Shopping here was so much fun. The staff are so helpful, super knowledgeable, and best of all the products are high-quality and beautiful! We purchased a teak dining set (table, 4 chairs, and a bench) as well as a fire table. Carlos helped us with our order and was friendly and helpful every step of the way; in the showroom, he measured the items and rearranged them for us (even though the pieces were grouped with others, located across the store!), and was patient as we took the time to decide what we wanted. We took our 2 year old with us and even though he ran through the showroom, they were patient and understanding (it's hard shopping with toddlers)! Lots of complimentary yummy snacks and bottled water helped buy us more time shopping. The delivery of our fire table was originally estimated to be 2 months out, but they arrived at our home in about 3 weeks with everything else we ordered! Delivery was smooth as well. We love our new outdoor furniture and will be back for more items in the future. Quality is very very good, but my husband and I were the only ones in the store and were constantly bugged by the sales people.... like when you go to the mall and the people selling skincare or fragrance follow you as they talk. I take care of my furniture and cover my pillows during winter etc. I got them out this year and my cushions were tearing on the seams. I have to agree with other Yelp reviewers 5 star rating for Terra Outdoor Living. We needed some patio furniture and after checking online and a few local stores, decided on Terra because of the outstanding product and service. Our salesperson, Lori, was THE BEST. She was always so helpful and cheerful. We went in many times over the course of a couple of months while our deck was being built. Even though the furniture was ready to be delivered, we weren't ready for it. We wanted to be able to have the pillows and ottomans picked out ahead of delivery, and Lori and the other staff were always so gracious about us visiting the display version of our furniture. The prices were reasonable and the quality is top notch. The delivery went smoothly, the guys were friendly and efficient. I am writing this review from my new outdoor couch which is so comfortable. Excellent store with exceptional service. Their selection and variety is phenomenal. We purchased furniture and umbrellas for our deck last year and part of an umbrella broke in a wind storm (ooops, watch the news and lower them in high winds). I have purchased several things from Terra Patio over the years, 5 Woodard chairs and a couch, teak dining table and 12 chairs and 4 teak bar stools. Jim is amazing. He is patient and helpful and very kind! The teak chairs we bought started to crack due to a design flaw. The chairs were 6 months out of warranty. He took all of the chairs back and let us choose new ones that were totally different material and less expensive. He refunded the difference despite being 3 1/2 years old. We purchased a teak patio set with umbrella and cushions from Terra Patio. First, let me say that the customer service is exceptional. We dealt with Jim Singer and he's professional, helpful, and extremely patient. We iterated a few times on different patio configurations and they were kind enough to help us rearrange their store in the process. (Meanwhile our kids were happily distracted playing on the trampolines and playsets they have setup.) So we finally ordered our set and it was delivered on time, except it was missing two chairs! Somehow there was a mixup with all the iterations such that we thought we were buying eight chairs but Terra was selling us six. Terra's warehouse manager was extraordinary and delivered two extra chairs in short order; we were delighted with their proactive customer service. While we were upset, Terra stayed cordial and professional throughout-- turning a disgruntled customer into a huge fan in the process. Their entire team really provides five star service. We have only had a few weeks to enjoy our patio furniture but the quality seems good and we're looking forward to using it for lots of years. Terra has lots of their furniture made under their own brand (sourcing their own materials to maintain quality). It's not cheap but you can tell the difference between their sets and the lower quality stuff offered through chains/big-box suppliers. We highly recommend working with Terra Patio- especially Jim (or Adam) if you want a high quality patio set backed with top-notch service. read more

It took us several weeks to make up our minds and we never felt any sales pressure. When our project was delayed, we needed to delay the furniture delivery more than a month. This, too, presented no problem. We have the furniture now and we truly could not be happier. Excellent quality, reasonable price, great experience. We shopped around extensively through the East Bay - stores in Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Pleasanton - and TP far and away had the best selection for our taste. After viewing the fabric books we still hadn't found our "perfect," fabric. Lynn was able to find us some additional books to look through until we found the one. She made sensible recommendations for selections and introduced us to some accessories that we didn't even know were offered.
