I'd like to give a shout out to JEFF JARVIS at Mancino MDW. The customer service that Jeff gives is ..... unsurpassed. I am undertaking a fairly comprehensive remodel and window and door shopping can be paralyzing - a bazillion options and price points. I went to Ganahl Lumber, other window places in Ontario .... until I finally stumbled upon Mancino. Now I've met with Jeff on at least 6 different occasions with 3 of them on site. He has patiently explained to me the technical differences between the window lines that I was looking at - Marvin Modern, Marvin Vivid, Western, Milgard, etc etc and revised quotes for me time and time and time and time again to try and optimize the price point. He has come out on site to measure, re-measure, and also supervise cutting a depression in the concrete slab to recess a Centor screen system .... When I was injured on the jobsite and needed skylights, Jeff brought over options and information on Velux skylights that I needed to keep the project going --- all while keeping in touch daily with emails, texts, phone calls, etc .... on Saturdays, Sundays, and the weekdays. With this remodel project, I have dealt with many vendors --- roofers, framers, plumbers, demo, flat work guys, cabinet vendors, concrete guys, concrete finishers, pocket door salespeople, screen sales people, motorized awning sales people, fireplace people, etc etc etc etc.... Terrible service and communication! I contacted Mancino door & window based on the 5 star review and what a huge mistake that was. I'm still struggling to understand how they have a 5 star review. Jennifer was our sales person and the job was based in Laguna Woods to replace a window and sliding glass door. The entire process has been extremely stressful for my 85 year old mother as it has been for my husband & I. The communication with Jennifer was appalling, the sliding glass door was measured incorrectly which they realized when they came to install. They had to re-measure and it took another month to get the replacement. The stress this job has caused my mother has been terrible. I would never recommend this company for any job! read more

We went to Lowes and asked if they could install a door; gave them the approximate measurements; paid them $40 to have someone come out to measure.
