I am not a true Italian, by blood, but I have made a calzone with gusto. I do not know which part of Italy the Mancino Family are from but my expectation of a calzone is a folded, tucked half moon - cheesy, roni, steamy, crisped - braided edges too. The items we recieved were a rectangle of strange bread meatloaf with cheese, grease as our requested ingredients. That is not my conception of a calzone. Sadness...grease sadness. Used to love Mancinos toasted grinders. bread baked fresh daily must have changed owners its a skeleton of what it once was.... counter help not helpful. sign up no tomatoes... what?? why? Worse sandwhich I ever bought. Not toasted, soggy not wrapped in wax paper then foil, foil only... made bread soggy hole in the bottom of the bread ...topping fell through not cut thru but cut on the foil so leaked in the bag ewe slimmy not crispy. This was the first time I had been to Mancino's in probably 10 years and it will probably be another 10 years before I return. We ordered a pizza which granted was pretty good. The seasoning was good but the dough was soggy and not cooked all the way. Additionally, it appears this restaurant has the motto of burning dollars to save pennies. I asked for 2 cups of water not thinking anything of it. After I paid I saw they charged an extra $2 for the water. I probably would've been willing to give Mancino's a second chance because of the soggy dough but if you're gonna nickle and dime people for water I'm not coming back anytime soon. Looking at other reviews on here it appears that the owner isn't going to change anything anytime soon. Such a shame. read more

I have been to a different Mancino's, everything was superb. Ordered a large salad at the Mt. Pleasant location, incredibly small portion, lettuce rather wilted, nothing much as far as toppings. Salad dressing is NOT INCLUDED. They charge $1.50 for a small package of Ken's dressing. An 8% service charge was added, I ordered it at the counter. Would never return to this location. read more

So disappointed. The sixteen inch grinders are over $20 each and the meat quality is horrible compared to my college years. On top of that the mayo was slathered so thick you couldn't taste anything else and the whole thing just kept sliding apart. I'm afraid we won't be back. read more

Dirty kitchen! Made food without wear gloves, mask, or hair net. Covid-19 is going but they don't care. They screamed at customers who asked them to wear gloves and mask while handling food! The most underrated hidden gem in all of mount pleasant. When you walk in, it feels like a place that is inviting and comfortable. A mix between a little Italian eatery and your own house. The menu is very diverse and the staff helped me choose a meal (the Sammy bread was delicious)! I can't wait to make this my new spot. Be sure to not overlook this place! read more

Very rude customer service and when we informed them that the pizza was stuck to the pan they replied "Thats how we make them" and offered us a spatula. We were not able to eat majority of the pizza that we paid $8 for. They were also inconsiderate when we asked for the other items we ordered that they had forgotten. read more

New in town have tried twice to order a pizza from this place. The first time they "accidently" hung up on me twice. The second time a rude girl informed me they close at 6 because old people run it. Hidden gem.. right by Joann Fabrics. The young man helping us was amazing! Very knowledgeable, polite, very attentive.. he puts my kids to shame! He made the visit! Entered and left with smiles. I had a BLT I'd been craving for awhile and the hubbs got an Old Chicago Steak.. nothing was overcooked, plenty of cheese, garlic sauce used during cooking process. This location puts others to shame! We will definitely be back! I want to add, every time we have tried to go out since rona began it ended in tears by me. Ordered a 16" sandwich, nachos, and a 2 liter over the phone. 30 minutes later, when I went to pick it up, nobody had started on the order, and they said it would take 20 minutes. So I waited. Then, 20 minutes later, they wanted $34 for the order. Maybe I have an old menu... but 16" sandwich is listed at $10.00, nachos $7.00, two liter $2.59. The sandwich had less meat on it than subway. The pizza is not good at all. They don't know pizza. You can taste the super cheap flour. Who cares? I don't go there for their pizza. The employees are never friendly. Who cares? I don't, but when you screw up everything else, overcharge me, and the food is lousy, goodbye forever. I worked in a family run Sicilian pizzeria for 6 years. Mancino's "Italian Eatery" is a disgrace to Italian pizza shops. Eat elsewhere. read more

They have a great deal for a large pizza, large bread sticks, and a 2 liter... all for $10. When you are hungry for a lot of pizza for cheap this is a good choice. The quality is good, not the best pizza in town, but not the worst. read more

I didn't dine in at this restaurant, but my experience was great. Ordered a giant sub over the phone, it was ready when I showed up ten minutes later and tasted fantastic. The price point was also perfect for the food I got. I'll definitely be returning and may even sit down to eat next time. read more

We just got ice cream. The ice cream selection was poor, not all of the flavors that were on the board. The guy helping us was friendly enough, but the girl was incredibly rude and looked like she hated every second of working there. While I was waiting for my ice cream she told me to 'get out of the way' so another customer could order. These employees need a lesson in customer service! read more

we drove 20+ miles to eat at this restaurant for valentines day pricing and service has slipped considerably. we ordered a large chef salad and a large monster pizza(there specialty pizza) well done. there large pizza is posted on the menu as 16" ! after the wait we received salad and pizza at the same time. the large chef salad was served on 1 10" paper plate. cost 7$ the pizza was raw in center and measured 13.5" across. cost 19$ when they brought out the order we were both shocked, and immediately asked if it might be the wrong order, we were told that was a LARGE salad, and a LARGE pizza. we have taken this restaurant off our favorites list and suggest other do the same. read more
