Came here with a very unadventurous crowd for lunch and was not disappointed. We got seated quickly and our server, Shayanna, was on point. The complementary wine when we were seated was also a nice touch. Not sure if it was a lambrusco but it was very sweet like a more sophisticated grape juice with a slightly carbonated taste; definitely a crowd pleaser, even for those that don't like wine. The Lunch Duos with unlimited bread sticks and choice of unlimited salad or soup was a pretty good deal for the food, though I have to say you're paying more for the soup /salad than the actual entrée. Grilled Vegetable & Cheese Piadina - essentially a American Italian inspired quesadilla. Pretty tasty but also pretty small. Hubby had to supplement it with 3 bowls of soup to feel satisfied. Would get again. Zoodles Primavera - Definitely a dish that is trying to hard to be healthy. I dined at this Olive Garden location the other night; as I was staying at a hotel across the street from the restaurant. I hadn't been to an Olive Garden restaurant in about a year or so. But I decided I would try this location. Service was great, and my waiter was really attentive and nice, his name is Jonathon Z. Per my receipt. But he was very welcoming, and just had a pleasant demeanor. So kudos to him! I ordered Stuffed Mushrooms, and Baked Ravioli w/Italian Sausage added, which was of course accompanied with salad and breadsticks. All of the food was good, and I had leftovers. I frequent the hotel across the street often for work purposes, so whenever I come back to Mt. Pleasant, I will keep Olive Garden in mind! read more

seems like the Olive Garden is losing its appeal.Years sago, it was a classy place to go for a meal.Now, prices are much higher, service reminds me of being in a sports bar...rush rush.Maybe its because I am a great self taught cook that knows "italian", and I make all "their soups better than they do"...But this place we no longer even go too...They need to go back to the way "Olive Garden was 15 years ago...Oh, another thing...They sell you "soup and salad...all you can eat...But they put the soup in half filled bowls and you "have to look for the goodies in it"...Then the waitress disappears for 15 minutes and you can't find them when you want a second bowl...Same with the endless salad bowl...a "half filled bowl for 3 people? I placed an online catering order for Lasagna for 12, super salad, and 32 breadsticks. Pickup was quick and easy. All food was packaged to keep warm in oven. Spatulas, tongs, along with a bottle Olive Garden dressing and quality plates, bowls, and cutlery were all provided. The food was all delicious and it could easily served 3-4 more people. to call this places service friendly would be an abomination. my boyfriend and i were celebrating his birthday and wanted to go to olive garden for the yummy food and dessert. when we arrived at olive garden, we weren't greeted friendly, and got sat with a terrible waitress named Ellie. Ellie didn't crack any smiles and didn't even speak to us when getting our refills. she just grabbed the glasses, didn't ask if we wanted a refill, and then silently came back with them. our plates were freezing and filled with water, and she gave me such a weird look when i asked for lemon on the side. after multiple piles of dishes were sitting at the end of our table, almost an hour later, the end of the meal came, and she didn't even tell us how to pay or explain the dessert menu to us. my boyfriend mentioned it was his birthday, and asked for a dessert menu. Ellie didn't even say happy birthday, she just pointed to the tablet and said "it's on there." like, you can't even say happy birthday?? she brought us the dessert, didn't say happy birthday or anything at all, and left the dirty dishes STILL at the end of the table. then while we are trying to enjoy the little bit left of our dessert, some random waiter came up to us. he wasn't a manager or anything, and asked us if we liked Ellie's service because he was just (and i quote) "nosy." what the hell? i felt as this was some sort of set up or spy mission. my boyfriend and i won't be coming back to this olive garden, and certainly felt uncomfortable the whole time there. if you want to go to this olive garden, i guarantee you'll have; 0 smiles, 0 conversation, and an 100% dirty table the whole time. so much for great service. read more

It took me four years to try this Olive Garden because I don't like the one in my home town, but now I am SO glad I did! We decided to come here for a Sunday dinner and I decided to get the stuffed chicken Marsala. It was absolutely delicious; it was cheesy, flavorful, and served very hot. Visiting from Rochester Hills to meet family. Arrived at12:30 with 7 adults and 2 small kids. We were seated with in 10 mins. Server was quick to bring us drinks, bread and salads. He gave ample time to scan the menus, then took our orders. The food was served in a timely manor. One pasta entrée was less than hot so it was quickly replaced and taken off our bill by the manager. Food was great, as always. I've never had a problem with Olive Garden servers or any other part of the staff. However, this time was different. Our server, Nate, made my entire table of 6 extremely and visibly uncomfortable. His comments were extremely rude, snarky, and just mean. My entire party was so uncomfortable during our meal we ended up boxing everything up and leaving early. Nate was very untimely (it took him 15 minutes just to get us our drink order) and never once actually served us our appetizers, meals, or refills. This was always done by another staff member, and on 2 occasions, by a manager. He was very inattentive and very pushy with a distasteful sense of humor and an inability to read the room. Will definitely go back to Olive Garden again, but will be sure to request that Nate is not our server. read more

In fact the last time we went, we asked how long the wait was and they answered then went on to do something else. So we had to stand there and awkwardly wait to put our names down for a table. If you know much about Olive Garden, you know that it is probably one of the most inconsistent chains from location to location. This one opened up a little over 2 years ago, which made me pretty happy because the local restaurant conglomerate (LaBelle Management, which has recently sold of all its food related holdings) fought tooth and nail to keep them out. They felt it would crush their Italian restaurant (the Italian Oven), which is idiotic because they are just too different to be considered competitors, and I have been proven right since Italian Oven continues to flourish. Anyway, for the first year, this location was HORRID. Crappy service, and a comical inability to do anything correctly. BUT, it appears to have finally found it's feet! Service is generally about a 8/10, the food is about a 8/10 (in relation to other Olive Gardens), and all the other little wrinkles seem to have disappeared. The owner Kimo seems to take pride in the place and is pretty much guaranteed to stop by your table to see if everything's going well. As long as they can keep the train rolling like this, I'll keep coming! read more

I didn't even believe that service this enthusiastic and positive was possible, but James provided service exceeding my dreams while still not be too overwhelming or overbearing. I would describe his presence as akin to having a guardian angel. My needs were fulfilled before I even knew I had them. Just as Captain America was bred to be a super solider, it seems as though James was bred to be a new breed of super waiter. I felt cared for like I never have before.
