Located in the luxurious Hancock Hotel, Mancy's is the epitome of class, style and fine dining. They have over 100 wines, a good quantity of craft beers and, of course, wonderful cocktails of which, since I was staying in the hotel, had several. It's also one of the only bars I've seen offering meads and ciders. For my meal, I started off with anchovies on their Caesar. It was really a good salad and the croutons I usually overlook were specially handcrafted and delicious. \ I also had their petite filet mignon, which had a wonderful meat flavor. It really tasted great and I am certain was dry-aged in order to get its great flavor. I also had it topped with a totally delicious bone marrow butter crust. If you want the best of Findlay, Mancy's is it.

We were staying here and wanted to get drinks before dinner. They had an amazing cocktail list and the food menu looked amazing. This may need to be my new happy hour place for my Ohio office!

I can't begin to say enough good things about Mancys at the Hancock hotel. The food is absolutely fantastic and so is the staff. We went to Mancys for our dinner on NYE. We went all out for this meal for our family of four. Appetizers: 1. Crab Stuffed Mushrooms | so good 2. Jumbo shrimp cocktail | Our least favorite dish of the meal. I'm beginning to think that I'm just not a huge fan of Jumbo shrimp in general though. 3. Scallop with garlic grits | These garlic grits were sooooo good! There was only one scallop that came with this appetizer but it was delicious. Soup: 1. French Onion Soup | my husband says this is one of his favorite French onion soups out of all restaurants 2. Soup of the day (3) | this was a bean soup. My stepsons both devoured theirs. It was pretty spice forward in my opinion. (I believe it was something like nutmeg) Drinks: 1. They brought my husband and I out a complementary small glass of champagne since it was New Year's Eve 2. I had two old fashioned drinks with rabbit hole bourbon 3. My husband and stepsons all had pop. Our waitress was so attentive and made sure to refill often 4. My husband had a coffee with dessert Entrees: 1. My husband had the 10oz Barrel cut filet with bearnaise sauce 2. My stepson had the 10oz barrel cut filet with rice pilaf 3. I had the 10oz barrel cut filet with the mushroom and bordelaise sauce and mashed potatoes with gravy 4. My other stepson had the 12oz NY Strip Steak with a bone marrow crust and homemade steak sauce with mashed potatoes All of the steaks were cooked perfectly and were so good! So good that almost forgot to get a photo! Desserts: 1. Pecan Ice Cream Pie with chocolate and caramel drizzle 2. cheesecake with a raspberry drizzle (I could bath in that drizzle! Lol) 3. Chocolate cake with raspberry drizzle with "you are an inspiration" written in chocolate on the plate My youngest stepson has a very long road ahead in 2022 with several serious medical conditions that he has going on. We wanted to make sure that NYE was special for him as his life and our lives are about to change a lot in 2022. We chose Mancys because my husband and I got married at the Hancock hotel and had our reception dinner there. We made the right choice. The staff was so pleasant from start to finish and went out of their way to make the boys feel special. Thank you, Mancys! We may not have the opportunity to get back to Findlay anytime soon, but we will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place to anyone for a fantastic, high end dinner!

Exceptional Service & Incredible Food at Stix…read more Another visit to Findlay was made even more special with dinner at Stix. Renz and his incredible staff have mastered the art of exceptional service. Drinks arrive within minutes, beautifully presented and every bit as delicious as they sound on the menu. We shared several, and every one was a hit. Our favorite starters are the curry mussels, chicken bao buns, and the watermelon feta salad. Choosing an entrée is always the hardest part because the tuna poke bowl, scallops with polenta, duck lo mein, and hot pot are all outstanding. Stix continues to be one of our favorite dining destinations, and we can't wait to come back!

I should have followed my instincts on this place. (Instinct: Fusion restaurants rarely get…read moreanything perfectly right - a jack of all trades is a master of none - as the saying goes). In this case, the Hot Stone Bibimbap with Crispy Tofu ($23) was inauthentic in so many ways. Way too many carrots and broccoli - none of which was pickled banchan style. The rice was overcooked white rice that didn't have any oil element in it to actually crisp up in the dolsot hot stone pot, and the crispy tofu was overfried. Basically a fake-it-till-you-make-it attempt at a bibimbap that happens to have a legit stone pot. But if the ingredients are a joke, it doesn't matter. I would never order this again. Don't be tempted if you are familiar with how this dish is supposed to be prepared.

The outside looks like something from a 70s sitcom set…read more. The inside is dated, but I love the vibe! It was packed on a Saturday at 10:30 in the morning. But they move fast! We were sat in under two minutes, and had our food in less than 10. This place runs like a well-oiled machine. Some of the waitresses here had to be at least 60 to 70 years old, and it looked like they came with the building. I'm not saying that as a bad thing. Is it really a good diner if at least one of the waitress's hands don't shake a little as she sits down your plate? The portions are enormous... The pancakes are the size of a plate. We watched the food come out and everything looks really good. Our waitress was fast and friendly, can't ask for anything better. It was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time.p

I HIGHLY recommend stopping in. It has a nice old school diner / down home feel. Definitely a place the locals frequent. Everyone was very polite & kind. The food was AWESOME! "Herbie's Mess" really hit the spot with me... paired with some Rye toast that made my belly VERY happy! My GF got the tater tot skillet which she very much enjoyed. The service was quick and the prices surely won't break the bank. Support small & local businesses! A+ We look forward to coming back as it's only about an hour and a half from home.
