This review is only based on the club at night. At night, this club is extremely lit. The Club predominantly played hip hop and reggae on the night I went. It was packed. The concierge at my hotel sold passes for $40 which counted towards drinks purchased. I would definitely recommend Mandala for a good time. TIP: confirm the type of music spinning the night you're interested in going. read more

My bf's wallet was stolen (out of his pocket). Do NOT go there! Also, there was a guy taking photos for purchase. My friend gave him cash to buy a photo he took...he took their cash and never came back. Fun time if you don't mind losing your ID & credit cards + paying $65 a person. Full scam! read more

Found a piece of a bottle cap in my drink and they said "this is normal at a bar." Tried to be cool about it and just ask for a new, better table; as we had already paid around $5,000MX for a bottle and they weren't having it. Not to mention it was my birthday and they said they would get me a shot... they never did. If you like horrible service and drinking plastic that's big enough to choke on, this is the spot for you! read more

Horrible experience! Came to the day club for a bachelorette and the venue was very small and packed. Our group bought a "table" because it would have collectively cost less than just paying an entrance fee. The table/bed area was crowded with people. The pool water looked murky... it was disgusting. Everything was overpriced; we ended up paying $162 USD for water for just 9 people. Definitely a rip off, but we didn't want to be dehydrated. Amidst of all the chaos, my phone and wallet were stolen. My best guess is that it was stolen by an employee while they were were coming back and forth to clear our table. I had my phone's location tracked and it was still in the club after closing and then eventually made its way to a residential area in the photos I attached. When I was out here happened to be one of the least packed and safest compared to others on the strip venues. Music was great and kept everyone entertained with a variety. Staff was nice and professional also very on point on drinks and cleaning up. Place is also kept clean and not beat down after all the years in business. Overall it's a fun place out of the many times I've been here over the years. Pricing is avg and you should be able to get in free talking to the right people and not acting interested. read more

The worst experience ever. Why would I go to a beach club where I couldn't hear the music? I had to ask the waiter to turn up the music. My waiter forgot about me most of the time and charged me for an extra drink I didn't order, but of course I got charged for it regardless. Then, Jorge charges me a 23% tip. I am not stupid. The service was terrible and your boss is going to read this review. Also, they share the beach front with Cielo Beach club, which is awful. This is not a private beach club. If I had a recommendation for you, the only thing that is worth it is to stay away from any seating on the beach. The second recommendation is to only be at the adults only section if you had to be on the beach. Too bad that everyone will read my review and stay away from this shady establishment. read more

My husband and i stayed at the Hilton and they gave us tickets to access the beach club. The beach club is located next to coco bongo facing the beach, we got a cover for $35 a person but its used as a credit for drinks. The beach was nice, we got taken to our seats and had a very nice server, There was no music as soon as we got there we were asked if we wanted the party side or the family , the family side is free and the party side you had to buy a bottle. We went by the family side which was right on the beach and had a pool that noon was in so we had our pool. The party side was next to us so you can hear the music. We enjoyed the beach and the weather but it didn't feel much like a beach club , they just seem to try to upsell you everything and the drinks are expensive too. I wouldn't go again, you are better off going to a public beach for free. read more

We had a villa for my bachelorette and it was great because we had our own hot tub/mini pool in the front of the villa. The view of the beach was gorgeous and the venue itself was modern. It was more chill than other pool parties that I've been to in Vegas and Miami, but it was a nice escape from the typical "untz untz untz", especially after partying all weekend. We ordered 2 bottles and a ton of food to meet the minimum. Eduardo was our server and he was accommodating and friendly throughout our time there, and always made sure our glasses were flowing with booze. However, I wasn't a fan of the other employees coming up to us multiple times to try to sell us stuff (hookah, massages, etc.). Mandala Beach Club is right next to Mandala nightclub and is its own separate entity. There seemed to be some confusion at the front desk regarding our minimums, but it all got squared away and we had a great time here! read more

We came on a monday so we got VIP for free which was awesome. Your cover goes towards food and drinks so it was a good deal. We got a big platter with sushi, ceviche, and other sides; everything was delicious. The piña coladas were great as well. The DJ was great and kept the vibe up the entire time. The establishment is clean and the service is acceptable for the size of the place and the fact that it's a beach club. The only reason I am ducking a star is because at the end when we got the bill there were some hidden fees aka they are not upfront about extra charges. I guess that is to be expected at most tourist traps but beware and definitely double check your bill if you go. read more

My boyfriend and I didn't know what we wanted to do one night so we ended up at this place. Super strict at the door looking through bags but I guess that's safe. It was beyond crowded. It was all high school to college kids super drunk and rowdy. We left weird as I'm 25 and he's 30 so that can give you an idea about the crowds age range. It was so packed that some kids even tried to grab our grey goose bottle from our table. I wouldn't go back just because the crowd. read more

Just wanna say couple words about my previous trip to Mexico. The biggest part of my friends have already visited Mexico so I decided to spend about one week of my vacation in Cancun. Mandala beach was the closest beach to my hotel. When i saw Caribbean Sea first time I absolutely fall in love with it. Mandala beach is quite clean and comfy beach, water is good for swimming for everyone. If you want to come into territory of Mandala usually you need to pay some fee. We had lunch couple times here and I cant say that there is the best Mexican food but ok. I am a big fan of volleyball so very close to mandala beach i found two amazing beach volleyball courts and was happy playing volleyball during whole my vacation. read more

Was going out for a bachelorette Party as we were visiting Cancun. We chose this over Cocobongo and it was a vibe. We got a table the last floor (right by the bar), so it was perfect. Our server was awesome and even danced with us. We didn't get here till 11:30 and it felt right! At first, it feels weird being in a circular shape since it's not the biggest, but it worked. Drinks kept coming, and we got a package with this and 24k night club. The best part? The MUSIC. This DJ deserves a raise read more

Mandala Beach Club (which is next to Mandala, but is a separate place-it is off to the side and in the back of Mandala) has a great Pool Party. It has a separate entrance. Like anything, there are some things that you should note and remember. The first is, Cancun or any crowd based place, for the purpose of party population and energy, are as only as good as what they can attract. Such being said, they are at the Mercy of the population currently in Cancun on any given night. I went with CunCrawl (those folks are amazing and you should really look them up) on a Spring Break Tuesday. Mandala Beach was one of three stops and we had bottle service. It was an amazing night, with hundreds of people. However, in fairness, it was the tail end of spring break and maybe this will not be your experience. The actual Mandala club was dead the night before and not so packed that night (cause everyone was at Mandala Beach). I had an great time at Mandala Beach. I could care less about who was there, they were playing good music, it was pretty and I am epic. If you go there and you don't have the same time, sucks for you. Don't be mad at me, or my review, figure out how to fix your life. You are in Cancun and there is a lot going on. Get your life right. read more

It's definitely worth it!!! I went with my girlfriend, they tell you to book online because it's cheaper than at the door and the reservation goes into the system right away. It was $75-80 for both of us(depending on how the currency is). They take that money and give it to you for drinks and food. We ordered so much food and drinks. I don't think they kept track. We were ordering everything. The food, drinks, hookah, service, and vibes were amazing! The dancer guys and girls come around with free shots of tequila. The beach was beautiful and felt so nice not hot or cold, just right. We got 2 chairs on the beach and we were next to the pool. I just wish they played more hip hop and dancehall music. It was mostly trap/house music and a few spanish hits The hookah is separate from the food/drinks. A little over priced ($40) but definitely worth it. It lasted for the 4 hours that we were there. I would definitely recommend mandala beach, the ultimate beach party! read more

Went to mandala beach club during the day. My friends and I got in for free and they provided a cabana bed for us. They have a menu there for drinks and food and I ended up getting a mojito and it was good but in a very skinny glass haha. My friend ended up getting the fish tacos and they were bomb. The music was lit if you like EDM and like Latino music but the dj was going ham that day too with the twerking music lol. It was kinda empty while I was there, about 35 people I wish it was a little more packed. They have several pools and also people were smoking hookah in there if you're into that. They also have bottle service there and people walking around giving pulls of tequila for like $5 if you wanna spend the money. Overall it was a pretty fun time! read more

Dearest Reader-- To the victor goes the spoils, the troops knew that going in. For one of our men, this would be his last campaign as a bachelor. After much negotiation a deal was finally struck (be prepared to haggle). Mandala Beach (Day) A+ : If you're willing to shell out upwards of $800 USD, you can live like a king. It is well worth it though, you'll get a private daybed next to the pool and the money goes towards your alcohol and food spend. Be prepared though, that does not include cost for tipping server + security. I'd highly recommend the nachos (the cheese, beans and chicken were perfectly layered). Mandala Club (Night) C- : Once again, if you're willing to shell out upwards of $800 USD, you can live like a king. This will get you bottle service and a table + booth. I went here during the day. Great food & drinks. They offer you 2 deals. $1000 pesos / $50 USD for 2 people on beach side with pool. That money is then used for food and drinks. Now if you want VIP area then its $2000 pesos/ $100 USD . This area has its own exclusive pool and jacuzzi area. Beds are extra. Service was great. Now in my opinion if you are not going to do the VIP its not worth it because if you go thru entrance of coco bongos and find your way unto the beach it is much cheaper. There the guys offer you beach chairs & umbrellas for $15 USD and they have food as well AND you can bring your own liquor or beer. If you try to bring your liquor unto mandala they take it away from you and then you get t back at the end. In my opinion I would go thru coco bongos next time. I only gave this place 3 stars because the food & service was great. But its the same beach either way. So if you on a budget that would be your best bet. But if you want to floss then go thru the VIP at Mandala. Also DJ never showed up. So bring your own tunes. read more

We were here for a friend's bachelorette and in order to show her a good time we thought lets go to one of the more happening places. BAD IDEA We paid $60 per person for open bar and table. Not that bad a deal right? Open bar: BAD They were serving crappy alcohol that we were not able to finish one drink so then we switched to beer and just stuck to that Table service: DOUBLE BAD We had a standing table far away from the dance floor which was not bad but half way through the night the manager says we need to move you to a different table so first we said show us where and he pointed to a table right next to the bathroom. We looked at him and said no. The reason he wanted to move us was because there was a party of 40 ppl coming which is fine but he decided to talk to the table that 5 ladies instead of any other table around us. The manager has the balls to tell me that he gave me the table and that i had not paid for it so i said to him goodluck we are not moving and we did not. Guess what this guest of 40 ppl never showed up The managers and waiters really need to learn how to treat their customers and not discriminate read more

They charge you what they want. Don't get any food, it is the biggest waste of money ever. The pizza was inedible. We paid for the table then they strong armed us to pay a 20% tip for sub par service. The Busser was more help than the waiter. I strongly recommend not coming here if you don't speak Spanish. Unless you are ready to pay a bunch of money. read more

Myself and 2 of my buddies decided to go hit the club to celebrate our second night in cancun. We went on a Tuesday night. Found an all access pass for $80 each. It got us access to Mandela, Mandela Beach Club, & La Vaquita. We started at Mandela (11pm) had a few drinks it was chill but very loud. They gave us a host to saw to our every need. He was on top of it. When we decided to head next door to the beach club. We gound out our host was our guy for the night. He went everywhere we went. It was nice. We got to the beach club. It was perfect. Loud but you could at least hear the person next to you talk. It was outside the breeze was great. We were brought to our own table there. Where I learned that not only did our pass get us i to all 3 clubs. And open bar. It was private table, bottle service. And our own security guy who looked out for us. And got us across the club crowd fast. We all felt like true VIPs. I highly recommend this place. Its safe and fun. read more

This place is more a wannabe Miami or L.A. club complete with a group of losers working the front who think that they are ballers but are more like marbles in the overall scope of things. Rude and ignorant for the most part when you ask them a question. What I find funny is that they attack you to try and get you in and then once they get you to pay, when you try talking to one of the door-idiots, they ignore you. I realize that my question of "where is the main entrance," is a very difficult one but if you try hard, all you need to do is point. One guy in particular was hilarious in his tight, cheap jeans, big belt buckle from the thrift store, smoking a cigarette and acting like he was Pablo Escobar with his attitude. The drinks and service were mediocre and the music was about average. I guess coming here is better than jabbing a fork in my eye for fun but not by much. I would comeback if it were free and they asked nicely. read more

One of the few places in the club zone that plays decent American club music that you can actually dance to. The cover for open bar and admission $60, yes that is very pricy however most of the nicer surrounding clubs are priced in the same range. I like how this club is an open space and there are no doors or walls that obstruct your view of the streets. I would stay away from the shot girls if you're not into being forced to take shots and being groped inappropriately. Overall I had a good time, however i don't think it was worth the money. read more

The Mandala beach club cabañas look nice and the area is what you'd expect from a bougie beach club catered towards spring breakers and foreigners. For $30 USD (or 500 pesos) paid upfront, you get a beach lounge chair with an umbrella. Any food and drink you order will be included up to 500 pesos (your cover) and you pay anything over that. The process for getting or wristbands and paying was pretty smooth and painless. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The ambience was pretty good but definitely catered towards spring breakers. Note that around 3pm, a DJ comes out and starts blasting music, so this is not the place to be if you want a relaxing, quiet time on the beach. The margaritas and piña coladas were good, no complaints there. Aside from the guac&chips and Mahi Mahi filet, which were delicious, the food was mediocre to average. I ordered the tuna coconut sushi roll, which didn't seem to have much or any tuna. The crispiness of the coconut around the roll was great, but I felt like I was mostly just eating rice and avocado. I also ordered the tiradito de pescado, which had the description "crispy lemon fish sticks." Please note that these are not the fish sticks Americans would think of; what came out was a bag of tortilla chips and a bowl of small strips of raw fish drizzled in lemon juice with onions, avocado, tomatoes, etc. We were surprised given the description, but since "tiradito de pescado" seems to be a thing, the description was just not precise. It was average and I wouldn't order again. Finally, I ordered chocolate cake and vanilla flan for dessert. The cake was very wet, reminiscent of tres leche cake, which maybe it was but nothing in the name or description would have indicated that. It was ok--I didn't finish it and I wouldn't order it again. The vanilla flan was decent. The service was slow but our server was very friendly and attentive. Our 3-star experience became a 2-star experience at the end of our time there. After we closed out our bill, we thanked our server, tipped him, and started walking out. However, another man who worked there came out and stopped us, counted the tip we handed our server, and demanded us tip more. He explained that the 200 pesos we left unspent on our tab could not count towards our tip and that what we separately gave our server was not enough. We didn't know this, so we did not mean to skimp out on our server. However, he pulled out a calculator and typed out an amount he wanted us to pay. While we did not mind paying more tip to help our server, it was an extremely uncomfortable experience to be stopped and pressured to tip more. Perhaps if it was clear at any point before this (such as when they first pitched the lounge chairs to us, when we paid for them, when we were closing out the tab) that we were basically required to tip a set amount and would be uncomfortably confronted and prevented from leaving if we didn't, this all could have been avoided. The way the man stopped us and insisted we pay more was extremely unpleasant and made us initially feel like he was trying to take advantage of us for being tourists. If you go here, be sure to tip generously (regardless of service quality) if you don't want to be stopped on the way out. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends because it's not a great value for the experience. However, if you just want a lounge chair near the beach, don't care about the food, and are willing to shell out $30+tip, this is a pretty decent option since there aren't many more places to get lounge chairs if you're not staying at a beachside resort. read more

I love it!!! It's the best place for an after party, the city or palazzo and then Mandala Beach!! Great DJs, people and music, however it's the only club that its focus ONLY on electro and house music you won't hear This Summer by Alesso but it's the after party and most of the people are drunk so nobody cares hahaha plus remember to wear your bikini/speedo or whatever you like hahaha just in case you want to get into the pool. :) read more

If you're in Cancun you can't visit most of their beaches if you're not staying in a beachfront hotel or paying to visit the beaches. Mandala Beach is a great place to lounge on the beach and have drinks or party with a group of friends. The service is great, they even provide towels if you need them. If you visit Mandala ask for Christopher, he speaks both English and Spanish and he is very attentive. read more

Outrageous lighting, falling balloons, super loud music, buckets of beers, cheap alcoholic drinks, loud MC yelling, and dancing girls on small stages rounds out the Congo Bar. You will also have the typical opportunity to buy jello shots, roses, and photographs of you and yours; pretty standard at these types of places in Mexico. The Congo Bar is a fun place, and almost every crowd I have seen there has been friendly. Everyone just wants to have fun. On only one occasion did I see a drunk out of control, and the security quickly dealt with it. Speaking of security, the bouncers are very good keeping an eye on who's coming in and going out. They seem to do a good job searching folks on the way in and making sure people don't get too out of control. One of the officers, Alexander, is awesome. He always greets us and hangs out nearby while we visit. We don't stay very long, but it's still a fun place to visit.

They say it's all you can drink but this was the most crowded club I've ever been to. They overpacked the place so so much. There was constant pushing and shoving. It didn't stop. Had so many drinks spilled on me. The floor was literally black with mud, dirt, and drinks, they had people coming around to mop the floors. It was insane. We spent an hour just trying to get drinks at the bar and they were not even strong. The music was ok. Mostly hip hop. It finally got less crowded at 2am but the place closed at 3am and it was a very rough place. Absolutely zero room to move and dance. One of the worst club experiences. Only good thing is it's open air so it didn't get too stuffy or hot.

It was so heartwarming and it made my heart sink, and did not make me want to leave!! The French restaurant is also a must! Loved the potato leek soup and the lamb rack. The Italian restaurant had amazing cheese mushroom pizza! I've been to Hyatt Los Cabo's, and the one thing Cancun didn't have was to go boxes due to regulations. The dolphins are such a cute thing to wake up to and was such a nice thing to do for family and people! We stayed at the Turquoise building. Loved the bath outside the room! It was my birthday, and my boyfriend and the staff really made it beyond special. From roses to balloons, to cards, to the simplest reminder of all them knowing it was my birthday and wishing me the best. You will hear a lot of, welcome family or hi family. And by the end of the trip, you will really feel that they really did become your family. 100/100 recommend this place!!!

There are several restaurants with different cuisines and lots of fun activities throughout the day. The staff is so kind and accommodating, and my suite was beautiful. There are several different activities every day to meet everyone everyone's need from kids to adults. This place is ADA friendly and has a lot of water activities to choose from.

Most of this place is just for booze and taking selfies. There's plenty of cool photo ops here. The service is always laid back, fun, and easy going. Their goal here is to make you have fun and get drunk. Mission accomplished! This place is always clean, safe and fun. I wouldn't go for the food here unless you need something to counter all the tequila. This place isn't known for the cuisine, just the booze. The best feature of this bar is the location. If you need to do some pre-partying before heading elsewhere, this is the best place to start off.

The service was awesome! Lots of sun and great vibe. Again really sucks the pool is freazing as hell not even one person went in it. Another con, the cabana is real nice but you need to purchase a bottle of alcohol to enjoy it! Real stupid ! It ain't even that worth it. The cabana is bare minimum no bed just a small ass dirty couch. The tv was not playing and the jacuzzi was noot even hot ... i rather just lounge on the chairs and order plenty of drinks by the glass for free Looool The guy was rude about it too didn't like his attitude at all The bathrooms are really cool by the dj bar,, they have lockers with showers and all your amenities you need. I took some notes and this is what I thought of the dishes. Xoajacan Imoladas - The mole is perfection. The flautas, superb. Everything in this plate is a symphony of what I would expect from Xoajaca. 9.5/10 Barbacoa Bonemarrow - Barcacoa is on point. The Marrow is Sublime. Together with the accompaniments is superb. I dream of Marrow everyday. This is a 10/10 Yellow fin Tosatadas - Superb!!! One of the best tostadas I have ever had. The microgreens, the sauce and the square Tostada works well all together. 8.8/10 Salmon - Cooked perfectly. The corn is a great accompaniment. The fish is impeccably seasoned. This dish is heaven sent with a 9.8/10 Grilled Octopus - Grilled perfectly, I can tell by the texture. The mash is superb, they used margarine instead of butter and I absolutely love the contrast from the traditional mash. 9.8/10 Mexican Rice - Its pretty good. It does have a nice seafoodish finish. The pepper was actually spicy. Nice and pleasant rice dish. 8/10 Charred Avocado Salad - Grilled avocado is a bit of a wash. It did make it look good on the plate. The dressing is a little weak. Needs a little more zip, some citrus or vinegar would give this salad some justice. Its a little uninspired 7/10 Service is impeccable and attentive and the atmosphere is lovely.

Sometimes all inclusive hotels can feel gimmicky, like being on a cruise ship or something. This was not that at all. This was a high end experience from start to finish. The hotel service and facilities are impeccable. I was blown away by the care they take to tend to each guest. I was only there for a few days and people took the effort to learn my name and my personal preferences. To start, the room was incredible. I stayed in a suite and it had a juccuzi right inside the room and an ocean view with a hammock. The room also came with a mini bar which was restocked daily (although you could also call and request anything at any time). Every day they had a different schedule of activities for guests with quality entertainment (not tacky acts). They had all all white party with a circus one day which was fun, a foam party, bull riding and more. The food deserves its own review. It exceed my expectations by a lot. They had several food options to choose from, including an Asian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, a mexican restaurant a cafe and a global buffet. The restaurants were all open extended hours until 10 or 10:30 so there were always food options available. The global buffet did different themed dinners every night. Of the restaurants, I liked all but I'd say the Mediterranean was the most high quality. The preparation and taste was on par with any top NYC restaurant. The octopus dish was especially memorable. Second favorite was probably the Mexican restaurant. They have a chef from Oaxaca who makes a great mole. At each restaurant, the managers always made an effort to stop by my table to make sure I had what I needed. The employees genuinely care about serving you and they do it gladly. Sometimes you go to places where the employees are disgruntled or have a bad attitude. Not the case here at all. Everyone seemed generally happy and in a good mood. It felt like most of the people here were celebrating something, whether a bachelorette party or birthday, but it didn't feel overall raucous or anything. They had a silent disco one night and I think that also helped with any potential late night noise issues. I was really impressed with how well curated the schedule of activities was. Additionally, the hotel was very clean. When I first got in, people were mopping. They're constantly changing pool towels that are left out. Everything was spotless. The sheets were crisp and white. My room was changed to my liking. No complaints. One of the better places I've stayed. I would definitely come back in a heart beat. I loved it here!

This was not my first visit to Hyatt Zilara Cancun and it was actually my amazing experience here in 2019 that started my loyalty to Hyatt. I am currently a World of Hyatt Discoverist member, and after my first visit to Zilara, we loved the Hyatt experience so much that we chose Hyatt Ziva for our vow renewal in 2022. Because of that, returning to Zilara was something I had looked forward to for years. First, the staff at this resort deserves so much recognition. My concerns are not a reflection of the employees because the service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. From before we even arrived to our final day, everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely wanted guests to have a great experience. Before our trip, Eddie reached out as our concierge and was extremely helpful in making sure we were prepared for our stay. He helped coordinate our spa services ahead of time and assisted us with securing a late checkout, which made our trip much smoother and more relaxing. At check-in, Luis helped us on the World of Hyatt side and was wonderful. He explained the changes and additions to the resort, helped us understand reservations, and made sure we had the information we needed. Throughout the resort, the service remained consistent. Even when I had a meal I didn't enjoy, a staff member at the teppanyaki restaurant was genuinely concerned, offered alternatives, and wanted to make it right. That level of care stood out. Our room was excellent. We stayed on the fifth floor in a corner room and it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was fantastic, and I loved the pillows so much I am actually trying to find out what kind they are so I can buy them for home. The bathroom was great, especially the mirror with multiple lighting options. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which I always appreciate. The only thing I personally missed was having a bathtub, but overall I had no complaints about the room. The resort itself is beautiful and extremely clean. The pool area is relaxing with comfortable chairs, and it was never difficult to find a place to sit. The atmosphere is definitely more quiet and relaxing rather than a party environment, which can be a positive depending on the type of trip you want. The beach was well maintained, especially considering the seaweed situation during our visit. The staff worked hard to keep it cleaned up, and the things outside of the resort's control, like weather and ocean conditions, did not impact my opinion. The spa was absolutely phenomenal and I wrote a separate review specifically for that experience because it deserves its own recognition. The gym was also impressive for a resort gym. There was plenty of equipment, treadmills, a stretching/yoga space, and even a Pilates studio. I was hoping to participate in Pilates, but the class filled up quickly. I thought the fitness offerings were a nice addition. Where this stay fell short for me was the food. At an all-inclusive resort, the food experience is such a huge part of the overall value because you are eating every meal on property. When we visited in 2019, one of our favorite memories was eating at Pelicanos by the pool, so we were excited to return there first. We knew things had changed since our last visit, but unfortunately the quality and options did not feel the same. We tried several restaurants, and while the service was always great, the food itself was disappointing. The Italian restaurant felt very bland overall, although the bread service and tiramisu were enjoyable. The cacio e pepe and pasta dishes did not meet expectations. The teppanyaki experience also was not what I expected. I was hoping for more of a traditional hibachi-style experience, and the meat quality was disappointing. The buffet was fine, especially breakfast, but nothing really stood out. Room service was quick and the staff was friendly, but again the food itself was not something we loved. My favorite treat on property ended up being the ice cream at the coffee shop. The biggest thing I missed was having easy poolside food options. When I'm at an all-inclusive, I love being able to relax by the pool and grab things like quesadillas, ceviche, or small bites without stopping the pool day. The lack of that type of experience was probably my biggest disappointment. Drinks and pool service were great, and the staff did a wonderful job checking on guests. I personally don't drink alcohol, but it was clear they were attentive with beverages. Entertainment was limited compared to some other all-inclusive resorts. After dinner on our last - and very windy - day in paradise, we decided against fighting the traffic up to the clubs and bars and instead saught refuge within the D-Lounge. There was live music- a trio consisting of a guitarist, pianist and vocalist singing contemporary and classic R&B hits, and the occasional latin flavor as a reminder of where you are. The sounds were a great background and compliment to the lounge and drinks. The service is prompt and friendly, and the woman serving us was happy to make conversation. The food menu looked enticing, but I was stuffed and just needed a digestif or two. Our cocktails were amazing and delicious, and yes, a little on the pricey side, but you're on vacation! Just go for it... It's totally worth it.

It's a gorgeous bar, with all kinds of fancy seats and booths and what looks like beds everywhere. It has a DJ booth in the middle of the room, which makes sense because Avenue turns into a dance club at night. It's also a place for shows and entertainment, with a show every night at 8:30 -this week you could choose from 70's songs, Carribean Night, a Michael Jackson Night, Broadway Night, Mexican, International, and Circus. We walked by last night as the Circus show was in full swing. The place was packed and folks were standing three deep in the lobby to watch the three acrobats walking up a pole with their hands and feet, spinning around, moving up and down, head first and feet first, then standing on each other. Pretty cool. We also saw a juggler with neon light rings and flaming things that created a pretty nice visual as he whipped them around. Totally fun..

Our server Miguel was great. One of my friends ordered a apple martini. And he had this rolly cart that came over and prepared it infront of us. It had a slice of cucumber and he had then taken a fresh piece of rosemary. He lit it near the rim and aromatically added rosemary to the martini! My friend loved it so he drank 3 of them. I had a mango martini. It was good but after drinking all day didnt want to overload before dinner so i only had a few sips but it was good! Espresso martinis. Were also ordered i was told it was delicious. I dont drink coffee so it didnt interest me. 8:30 the music starts pumping the fog machine starts to pump some fog smoke. Then the dances started coming out in such vibrant costumes. In this lounge the sj booth is in the middle and open we were on the side. And everyone was all over as the dancers performed in the middle. I felt like i was at a dancing with the stars performances. Girls were getting flipped had head pieces on. And the guys knew how to shake it!! The costume changes were quick and they came out from one routine to the next! Cant wait to go back tonight and see it again. Everynight they change the genre. Tonight it was spanish. Last night we missed it but it had. American songs like ymca. Music from the 70s The next few nights the shows included. michael jackson performance. Amazing!! Mexican night with traditonal mexican clothes and dances International night. Had some bollywood dancing Broadway night. Was great had some hairspray, wicked, west side story. Numbers!
