Recently went to this location. The food was not edible. It was so gross and mushy. Threw out all the food we bought.

One of the highlights was getting to meet the "Madame Wu" of the East Coast (as she's affectionately called). If you know the legendary Madame Wu who helped shape LA's culinary scene, you'll appreciate the nickname! She was incredibly kind, stylish, and made us feel so welcome. Here's what we ordered: * Smoked Tea Duck - So tender with a delicious smoky flavor. * Chicken Soup Dumplings - Fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. * Scallion Pancake with Beef - Crispy, savory, and perfect for sharing. * Lamb Stir-Fry - Full of bold flavor with authentic Szechuan peppercorns. I ordered medium, but next time I'd probably go with mild since it definitely has a kick! * Poached Beef - One of the restaurant's specialties, and for good reason. Tender, flavorful, and absolutely worth ordering. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive from start to finish, making us feel right at home. If you're looking for authentic Szechuan cuisine in the Towson area, Red Pepper is definitely worth a visit. We'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu!

Some of my favorite dishes I have had here are: wanton soup, egg drop soup, shrimp egg rolls, shrimp toast, house friend rice (which my father says taste just like the fried rice he grew up with in New York City) shrimp, and lobster sauce. The one downside is because their food is so delicious and the portions are so huge. She's always busy. So it's best to call and order your meal ahead of time and say can you have it done by a specific time. If you order your food and then go to pick it up. Expect to wait an extra 15 minutes. But it's so worth the wait

Dark with a little spicy kick, not just sweet like many sesame chicken dishes. Beef & Broccoli - fine. Meat not the best not the worst. Had some ginger flavor but overall sauce felt lacking. Portions were big. The box was overflowing Spring rolls - strange. The most "airy" under-filled spring roll I ever had. Very little filling. The woman behind the counter was great. Radiated good energy with an infectious smile. Overall good, but I need to go back to see if it can be better. My brother says this is his favorite carry out, so I suspect it can be better.
