a plate of fried rice and tofu
    Terrence R.

This is a very nice little restaurant. Plenty of parking out front and when I stopped in there was no wait and plenty of seats. Staff was very friendly. The hot and sour soup is one of the best I have had, and the fried tofu is fantastic. The house fried rice was pretty good with plenty of flavor. Overall about an 8 out is of 10 experience.

Not very good as my prediction... I've tasted the real Chinese food in China and the food here are not really traditional.

Chinese Traditional Noodle Soup Imperial Dish

This place appears to be really nice, looks and all, but the food isn't as appealing. The presentation of the food is not the best, let alone the taste. The appetizers were very plain, and didn't taste like they were made fresh. The imperial dish looked like a saucy mess, and didn't taste all too great. Despite us adding some spice to it (since it's a 'hot and spicy' dish), it didn't taste spicy or hot at all; in fact, it tasted a little sweet? As for the Chinese traditional noodles, the broth was plain and super super SUPER hot; we're talking "no matter not many times I blew on it, it didn't get cold" type of hot. The noodles tasted kinda funny. Now the fish that is in the noodles had a rather interesting "string" of sorts that protruded from its surface. The more I looked at it, the more it gave me tape worm vibes, so it made me lose my appetite. You can find better food nearby for a better price. In all, while the restaurant itself had a very nice aesthetic to it and a welcoming vibe, the food is what had the experience go downhill; which explains the one star review. I don't think we'll be coming back.

It used to be hit or miss and now they only do carry out and such limited hours. The place always smells like sewer gas.

I was here on a visit and snagged takeout for my group. The portions were large, but the food was largely homogenous and flavorless.

The food is excellent, and the waiters are super friendly, too. This restaurant has some of the best sesame chicken you will ever taste.

The food from this place is overpriced and tasteless. I would go to mcdonalds before I would go back to this place.

And seriously $13.99 for a gluten free cheeseburger and fries, come on! RUN to this place and keep it going. We need places like this. The only negative is they need a non dairy alternative cheese. Goat, Vegan, something. But they have a HUGE Gluten-free menu. Even a dessert menu. This is amazing! Tip: free parking in lot across the street. This is in a hotel but has drop off area.

I was intrigued by the hot stone concept with hot stone for two you got shrimp, steak, pork and scallops and then a choice of one side of each and choice of about 5 sauces. The meat took awhile to come out maybe it was more so waiting for a stone to free up because we cooked the food ourselves so not sure about the delay. I like the concept I think only tricky thing is trying to cook all the meat and still have flavor as it can't be seasoned while on the rock. The sauces felt like they could use some work. The one called chimichurri cream tasted nothing like a chimichurri. the best way to go us probably ranch or cocktail sauce the others were a bit hit and miss which was unfortunate since the meat isn't marinated or anything. The onion rings could have used a little more crunch to them. I think for future I would just order something else but it was fun trying the stone at least once. It looks like a nice classic restaurant maybe on the older side than some of the more modern spots downtown. If you need gluten free looked like they had lots of options and there was a waffle menu too which sounded good.

I happen to know folks who need to avoid gluten. I am good having gluten, but I was curious to check this place out. I tried earlier this year. Sadly, when I got to the food court, this stall was closed. On October 1st, after attending the Jason Show as a studio audience member, I headed over to the food court to try my luck again. It was roughly 11:30 am. This food stall was open. Yay! The nice man behind the counter was wonderful and patient as I figured out what I wanted. I got the following items: - Medium Diet Coke - Crispy fish sandwich with coleslaw I paid with a credit card. Done! He asked for my name for the order. I waited patiently for my order as it was being made. It didn't take long. I got my Diet Coke first. I sipped it as I waited for my food. He put my food in a container box and put this box on a tray. It was a nice touch that he said my name and hoped that I'd like my meal. I thanked him and headed to a free table in the food court to chow down. The coleslaw was crunchy and delicious. It's a mayonnaise-based coleslaw. The coating around the fish was crispy. I loved it. The fish portion was generous. The fish was flaky and yummy. It's a messy sandwich to eat. The lettuce, tomato, and some of the creamy coleslaw was a part of this sandwich. They easily slid out. The bun was different. It looked like a potato bun. I don't know what it was made of, but it worked well. It didn't disintegrate. It wasn't overly thick and boring. It was perfect. What was the most surprising part of my meal was the Diet Coke. It was crisp and fizzy, and had the quality of a Diet Coke from McDonald's. I was both impressed and sad that I didn't get a large. I'm so glad that this place is available for those who have Celiac disease and want to enjoy gluten-free food. Folks who aren't on a gluten-free regimen will also be pleased with the food here. I enjoyed everything that I ate and couldn't tell that they were gluten-free. (411)
