Hands down the best Mexican food I've had in Kitsap county. You can dine in or take to go. Service was friendly and fast.

Taco Tuesday!!! Reasonably priced street tacos. Tasty enough. I got four and I was full. There's nothing uniquely different about any restaurant's street tacos as far as the basics of the meat, the cilantro-onion mix, the lime and the choice of salsas. So what makes the difference for me?Is if the meat is moist and tender and not dried out and and if the customer's service is good. Both of those criteria were met for me here. So, when I'm in the neighborhood on a Tuesday or Thursday, and have time to stop in or am hungry, I would do the taco special again. I like deals and I like tasty food. read more

The reviews seem to be all over the place on this one, I'm actually very surprised by that. It's a little strip mall spot, tucked in between the licensing office and a few other businesses so very understated in it's entrance. Once we passed through the door though, everything changed and we were transported into another dimension! A Mexican dimension! We were greeted with genuine hospitality and friendly smile, invited to sit wherever we wanted and immediately given menus and chips and salsa. The place is very clean and colorful with great music playing at the perfect level. We ordered the pork belly appetizer and each got an order of birria tacos. The pork belly was a large portion and good just wish it was sauced or seasoned rather than the honey and hot sauce, but it was rendered perfectly. The birria tacos were some of the best we've had, actually the second best ever! There was plenty of cheese, the consume was rich and packed with flavor and the meat literally melted in our mouth. They were piping hot and stayed hot the entire meal. We'll definitely be back, I'd love to try so many more things on the menu! read more

The people were very nice and the service was fast, so this review is not about them. This review is about the food itself. First off, there is no reason this place should be rated so highly. I got chips and guac with the taco plate (carnitas and carne asada). The guac wasn't bad but it was $14! I didn't check the price before ordering so that's on me, but $14?! I could understand if it was a huge serving for 4-6 people but this one was finished by two people and my wife still had room for her tacos, and she is tiny! Now onto the tacos... both the carne asada and the carnitas were completely flavorless. The asada was wet but chewy, no browning whatsoever, no seasoning. The carnitas were dry and also tasted like they had no seasoning either, they didn't have a single crisp spot on them! Their website describes carnitas as "Seasoned pork slow cooked until tender then fried to lightly crispy perfection." But they weren't even a little crispy and they weren't seasoned at all! Also they used red onion which is weird for a place claiming to be authentic, and their cilantro was full of stems. They put a ton of cilantro and barely any onion. To recap we got chips and guac, three taco plate with beans and rice, and a four taco plate with beans and rice. We drank water. It was $60 before tip... ABSURD! It's crazy to me that this place is rated highly, it's just bland food that is not good and completely over priced. read more

Our first visit but it won't be our last. Started with some tasty chips and salsa. My wife ordered Steak fajitas with flour tortillas. The smell, seasoning flavor, texture of the veggies, and beans/rice were good. The steak was good but she found some grissel and what appeared to be bone chips definitely was a problem. We told our server but she didn't really make any comment or effort to apologize for the matter. We hope this was something we wouldn't experience again. Most of the steak strips were tender and tasty. Probably try chicken next time. I had 3 Street taco plate with beans and rice. Soooooo good. I had asada, Cochinita pibil, and adobada (pork). I am 100% addicted to this spot, so much that I had to have them at our wedding. They sure did deliver; the food was amazing. The service was wonderful, and they worked with us to make things the way I had always dreamed of. It was 100% above and beyond. Found this place after trying basically every other Mexican restaurant in Bremerton/Silverdale and not being very impressed. This place reminds me of my favorite restaurant's back home in California. Everything I've ordered here has been amazing, the prices are great, the staff is super friendly. There's always good music playing and the bar has great drinks. Our new favorite place! The food is incredible here! And the service was better than we have had at most high end restaurants. Wish we could give it 10 stars. We had the quesabirria recommended by the server. It was the best quesabirria we have ever had! A hard dish to get right, but they do it! We also had the Mandiles Special, which allowed us to sample a few different dishes we were trying to decide between. All three were delicious, but the chile Colorado was especially out of this world! The margarita was excellent! Likely, everything is good here. We will return very soon. read more

TLDR: Great Service, Great Food, Nice Ambiance, Big Soups. Been here a couple times now with my Fiance and I. Service has always been great and its never busy inside surprisingly. The soup sizes are huge. A cup of soup here is like a full size at other restaurants. Food: - Creamy Chipotle Enchilada's: 5/5, I don't think i have ever had a creamy chipotle sauce before so I tried it out and this was very very good. Great balance of creamyness to the chipotle flavor. -Mandiles Special: 5/5, Three different meats in different sauces, well cooked, great flavor and provided tortillas are excellent. -Four Tacos: 4/5, Tacos are great just a bit on the pricey side, but the meat has always been excellent. -Chicken Tortilla Soup: 5/5, HUGE, great on a cold wet day (very rare in the PacNorWest) with amazing flavor. -Codito Soup: 3.5/5, Largr portion, tasty, but I would default to the chicken tortilla soup. read more

So I'm from Texas and know Mexican food. This place is right up there with the placea back home. Walking in, the place is kinda small but comfortably cute. The 2 servers took turns helping us. I got 2 drinks. The berry margarita was ok. Not as sweet as I thought it would be. Then they have a Mandiles punch. It was really good amd I recommend this drink if you like a sweet alcoholic drink. Got the chorizo queso as an appetizer. It's a goat's milk queso which makes it a little thicker but soo great. I would come back just to eat that. For the entree, mom and I split the Alambre fajitas. It was super flavorful with mushrooms, green and red peppers, shredded cheese. I used some of the leftover queso and put it on the corn tortillas with some beans, sour cream, and rice. Everything together was super tasty. We stopped at this place not only to eat but also pass time because of a wreck that had traffic stopped and I'm glad we did. This restaurant has your average run of the mill Mexican food. Nothing spectacular to justify the high prices. The place itself is small. We had the shrimp fajitas, chicken taco salad and a guava margarita. The food was good bit overpriced. I could not taste the guava or the alcohol in the margarita. It was as if I was served just a sweetnon alcoholic drink for 13 bucks. The service is decent, but ultimately we go to restaurants to enjoy the food and in my opinion it wasn't anything to write home about. read more

With great reviews, it ended up being extremely underwhelming and disappointing. The location is central and convenient with access to lots of other shops and stores. The staff is super friendly and will try to upsell you constantly on everything. We were offered more drinks by three people and dessert twice, which was a bit obvious. The food was an absolute bummer. The cheese dip was watery with super salty chorizo. The guacamole was good and seemed to be fairly fresh. The pibil was obviously not fresh along with the rice and beans. Everything seemed to have a weird film and old flavor. I don't expect it to be fresh, but at these prices, it's got to be better. It's a Mexican joint in a small community, so it is bound to be middle of the road. Just have reasonable expectations. read more

Love love love Food is always great. Highly recommend the queso with chorizo (it's a white queso with roasted jalapenos), the Chile Verde, and the adobada for meat. Service is fantastic. They're so nice and they're super nice to people doing pickup orders. My family and I were dining in tonight. And a doordasher comes in and immediately Mandiles was like "two orders just came in" and named both. And door dasher said she's picking up both. And Mandiles was on it and super nice and when it was ready, told her to drive safe out there. I mean, I know it's normal to be polite, but I feel like it's not normal anymore. I've also ordered food to go, and it's packaged nicely and they also put in a good amount of chips with the queso. So highly recommend dine in or ordering delivery. read more

So I'm in Bremerton this evening and I am starving by the time I arrived at my airbnb. Luckily for me, this place recommended we try Mandiles for our dinner. The menu looked amazing so without even hesitating (you shouldn't either) I called in my order for pickup. This restaurant is doing take out only but they do it perfectly! They even have margaritas to go! I ordered veggie fajitas with black beans, my husband got a wet burrito with asada and a horchata. We loved our food! It was delicious, seasoned perfectly, not too salty, not too spicy, just super hot (from cooking, not a bad thing!). The service was OUTSTANDING!! The man who took my order was superb and the lady who packed my order was equally amazing. Thank you for the wonderful dinner tonight. I have a happy tummy for sure right now! This is a four star review mostly because of how amazing the customer service is, not because of the state of the food. The chips are okay, they needed a bit more salt and the salsa kind of lacked flavor. I got carne asada tacos and Adobada tacos. They both could've eased more flavor but had a decent amount of meat. The tortilla ere kind of dry though. I had some of my friends rice which again could've used a little more flavor and was a tad dry. The strawberry margarita was pretty decent as well. Not my favorite mexican place in Kitsap at all but the service is so nice, funny, and caring also the food was edible ( which is more to be said than places like acetunios ). Omg, this little gem of a Mexican restaurant is legit! My fiancée and I drove up from California to visit my family who live in Belfair, and we decided to stop here for lunch, from the recommendation of a few locals that work nearby. It's a tiny, nicely decorated establishment that has the prettiest bench seating I've ever seen! The server was super nice and accommodating. Their menu offered some pretty yummy sounding and visually appealing Mexican fare. It was hard to decide, but since it was cold outside, we all thought we'd try the chicken tortilla soup. The soup was a nice big bowl of absolutely delightfully seasoned broth with lots of delicious shredded chicken and tortilla strips. There were several pieces of avocado in the soup as well and I could detect there was a small amount of cheese that was added after the soup went into the bowl before it was served. It was the best bowl of soup I've had in a long time. I also should add that the different salsas they provide with the complimentary corn chips were not your average salsas as well and I like how they had a small salsa bar where you could replenish them, which you can't help but do so since they were so flavorful and fresh! We also tried the amazing flan for dessert and it was super creamy and well executed as well! Next visit we make to Washington, we have to come back! I have now been here twice and have tried a few different things. First visit was for dinner, I got the pork belly bites to start. They have a sweet spicy honey glaze and it is a must get item. I also had the chile relleno which is my usual go to at any Mexican restaurant. They nailed it. Second visit was today for lunch. I got the 3 taco plate and was able to get 3 different meat options. Sometimes places won't let you do this so I was very excited to try a variety! I got asada, carnitas and chile verde tacos. All choices were so, SO good. I can't decide which was best but the asada was probably my fave. Definitely check this place out. Awesome food and awesome staff! Thanks guys! I will be back :) read more
