Today was not the best. Armando and his little helper made it better. I had a nail in the tire and decided to try and fix it on my own with the tire fixing kit offered at AutoZone. (It's a trap) 3 coughing fits and 5 inhaler pumps later I realized, this ain't gone work. I had the vehicle towed to Armando's location and within about 5-10 minutes he arrived. Originally I thought to myself how can he fix my problem in this work truck. Low and behold, he did it effortlessly. I just sat back while getting eaten alive by the local insect population and watched as he pulled, pushed, and fixed my tire in record time. He explained every step of the way which was cool to hear and watch. My day had not been the best but seeing him come in and fix my problem was really awesome. All for $125, which was kinda pricey for me but when you're in Oil Dale with a full blown flat tire and the sun has gone down, no price is too high. #GetMeOutOfHere!!! During our family road trip, we had a flat tire. We avoided a square rock but the rear left tire got flat. Right away we pull over, tried to figure out what to do. *24 Hour* My car tire completely gave up on life while I was taking the exit from the 99 onto the 5 north. It happened in the middle of the night, and I was unable to find anyone I felt safe with to help me, so I decided to go to sleep, and wait until daylight. My Toyota care does not apply since I am over 25,000 miles (I'm around 27,000) and my insurance would have to tow my car to the nearest repair shop. Usually, in the past that wouldn't be a problem (assuming it's a 24hour shop), but due to new laws you aren't allowed to ride with the tow truck driver, so I would have been stranded, with my puppy- in the middle of nowhere; on the side of a highway at night. Some lawmakers mean well, but do not have common sense. Thankfully, I found Mandos the next morning, and when I called, he happened to be nearby. My cell barely had service, and the call was cutting in and out. He knew where I was and found me really fast. He made me feel safe LIKE A MAN SHOULD, and he was so helpful, knowledgeable, and fast. I was incredibly relieved! Armando saved the day! Now instead of counting the things I used to count when I fall asleep. I count little superhero angel armandos flying through the sky and their superpowers are tires that knock men upside the head that don't know how to treat women, once the tire gets you- you turn into a gentleman :D read more

If you call this business you don't need Superman! On our way to a horse show in Vegas (fully loaded with horses) and one of our trailer tires disintegrated ON A SUNDAY! Our roadside assistance (like AAA for horse trailers) kept calling us back saying that they could not find anyone to help us. We happened upon Mandos #, called and left a message. Armando called right back and drove over an hour to help us on the side of the 5. Turns out one of the other tires was about to go so we are getting them all replaced at Mandos. I was coming over the grapevine with a trailer I had just bought. I've course I had no Jack or spare and blew a tire. I managed to pull into the Tejon Ranch parking. This was around 11 o'clock at night. No towing company would help as they all said we don't service trailers. That's a horrible statement given all the travelers going over the Grapevine Mondo's tires are the heroes. He answered the phone, I've got my tire size it was there within the hour he changed my tire within a few minutes and my nightmare night was over. He is fast, accurate pleasant and happy to serve. I was stuck in Bakersfield at 10pm with a flat tire. I thought it would be a hostage negotiation but when I called Mando he offered a fair rate. He was expedient but also thorough. We thought we only had one flat tire but he inspected the others and found that we had 3 defective tires. He had the foresight to bring a spare. He was able to replace 2 tires and put on our spare tire. He didn't charge us that much more for the extra work. I really feel safe knowing that he is around. read more

sheeesh. cant say enough about armando. i was on my way to work the night of 11/17/19 (saturday) when my back tire ripped up. i ended up finding mando's on yelp and immediately gave him a call. he answered my call promptly and professionally. after getting my tire size he was at my place of work within a half hour and my car was ready to roll a couple of minutes later. not to mention the extremely fair price. this is what you expect of a roadside service especially under an emergency. this man deserves all the business he can get!! keep up the great work armando! read more
