Extremely mixed feelings. I've had a good gel pedicure experience here before. Decided to come back for gel mani+pedi. I changed my mind and did not like my gel manicure color. I made it clear that I would still pay for the service and requested for them to remove the gel polish, and I profusely apologized for inconveniencing them. DO NOT LET THE MAN IN THE STORE TOUCH YOUR NAILS. He came to remove my polish. They decided not to use acetone but to just use the nail drill for the entire process. It start to hurt on my right hand, so I asked to be more gentle. Then, they absolutely ravaged my nails afterward. They practically drilled down to my skin. I was in so much pain that I cried. I still paid full price and tipped-- people pleasing quality of me. I have since been trying to grow out this "injury" exhibited in the attached photos. (Incident took place 5/15/23). You can see how deeply the man drilled. When I took my hands away, the man still wanted to drill more. THERE'S NOTHING LEFT TO DRILL! Never again. read more

Love this nail salon. It's a little tucked away gem in my neighborhood. I've been 4 times already and each time I've left in love with my nails. They have a lot of sns and gel colors available and are able to do designs. My favorite has been the sns & gel pedicure. Prices are reasonable, they offer sns dip powder for $38 & charge extra for each design and extra colors used. read more

Mandy did an amazing job. It was my first time going and everything was so clean! They sterilized their tools and used new foot scrub pads too. I highly recommend going to her and they take appointments too so that's a plus. My mom and sister went too and she did great. read more

This is my new love and currently my number 1 favorite nail salon to go to in Brooklyn! I chanced upon this nail salon for the first time when I saw Mandy Beauty nails sign right outside the door. I was curious and ventured a little in. I wanted to do a gel manicure that day and just wanted somewhere near my home. As I ventured in slowly and into the hallway, I chanced upon Mandy. She brought me in and I was in awe: what a pretty nail salon with such beautiful and tranquil atmosphere! Love the atmosphere; great selection of music, it made me feel like home and the staff was super lovely. Mandy has a selection of colors from Korea; I've never seen this before in any other nail salons. And they are so pretty. I chose one of the color selections from Korea and it was a pretty shade of pink that I received so many compliments! The second time I was here was for a 20 minute chair massage. I was so tired and my back felt heavy and tense. I decided to stop in quickly.The price for 20 minute chair massage is $20 and it was the best 20 minute massage I had! After the massage, the staff will put a plastic sheet on you then place the warm towel on your back after massage to help you relax the muscles. I came out feeling brand new, back feeling super light and completely energized! 20 minutes is all you need!!! The 3rd time I've been here is today where I did the pretty nails with a peony nail design on my ring fingers on both hands. Can you believe regular gel mani is $22, designs is $3 on each finger so I spent a total of $28 on my hands with pretty designs as shown in the pictures attached. You can't beat this price anywhere else. I've had friends who spent $50, $70 doing the same thing elsewhere and Mandy's only charged $28!!!!!! I would recommend just going right in and check out this hidden gem. I know the sign outside wouldn't really seem inviting to go deep in, but go in anyway. You won't be disappointed!!! I am so glad I found I am writing this extended review because I strongly believe Mandy nail spa deserves so much more recognition for the great work they do!!! I got a gel manicure here! The staff was super sweet and attentive to what I wanted! I took a star off Bc it took 3 hrs to do this design and I came in with UV light gel which they were supposed to remove, however they did not get the entirety of the UV extension off. read more

Second table lady hurt me so bad, all my nails hurt to the touch. She was also sighing while doing my nails.. every-time I said owe or stop you're hurting me she kept going. I literally begged Mandy to do my nails but she didn't want to. The whole table was moving while she was filing. They wanted to charge me $45 for hurting me bad. Seriously! Mandy is the best and most patience nail lady i ever met. I showed her what i wanted to do and she test it out on my fingers to see if i like it and chooses different colors to see what matches what. She make sure every finger of design was what i wanted and if i did not like it she would redo immediately without any anger or annoyed. I never like doing my nails outside because i never had good experiences until my friend got me here. You can show her any design you want inside her instragram or else where on the internet. I showed her what i like from other place and her place, then we decided to combine it together. She is defly my go to from now on! read more

Came here for the first time the other day. Just a wack nail salon and not very clean looking. She handed ME the hot towel to dry my own hands, no massage. She made my tips just look mediocre. Bad shaping and gave me a little cut with that machine. Theres way better nail salons in bensonhurst. Deff wasnt worth 35 bucks. My advice to them... work on your skill. They always just wanna make money without really providing customer service. read more
