Update: ive came here for several years now and as long as I have Jenny on Pedicure and Olivia - she sits at the very front desk - well as long as she does my rubber gel nails we are locked in. They are amazing. The rubber gel lasts almost a month sometimes and way easier on my nails. And Jenny is the only one I want doing my pedicure, and even though I moved away, I still drive back and indulge whenever I can. read more

Gets the job done. If you need a quick pedi. No frills, no thrills. Came in for a pedi and it felt a bit rush... as another client (most likely a regular), arrived early for their appointment.. thus making my technician anxious to finish up. This is my first time at Nail Station... made an appointment for 10:30am, the whole process finished about 10:50... at my usual spot... it takes a good 45 mins... so, rushed job for sure... which equates with a sloppy job. (See pic). Unless I'm desperate... highly doubt this experience made me a returning client for $22 + $5 tip. I needed to get my nails done for a wedding this weekend so I found one nearby for a decent price and the reviews were mixed but majority was positive so I decided to give it a shot! I came on a late thursday afternoon at 6PM. There was 3 people including myself inside but a couple people walked in, for other services like eyebrows etc. The vibe was very mellow and the ladies were very nice. They take walk ins and reservations over the phone. I walked and immediately was greeted by a woman that asked what I wanted today and I decided to get a mani/pedi so they started me off by going to the pedicure station and it was very relaxing when she helped me groom my feet, it also came with exfoliating feet, nail cutting and some red liquid in a bag that I assume is some sort of hot wax? but it felt good :) When she scrubbed my feet, I did get ticklish but it's part of the process lol After I was done, the same woman did my nails as well. There was some confusion at first about my nails but at the end, I decided purple (bridesmaid color) with little daisies :) I'm okay with the design but not in love with it but my nail technician did struggle with it a bit so I'd prob either go with someone else or keep it simple. I'd come back again since they did a good job on cleaning and grooming my feet but design wise, I'd prob try a different place. read more

I walked in with my friend for a pedicure ($23) since she wanted to try the place and they took us in no problem. My first impression was this place was dirtyyyy, it was not sanitary looking at all. The most shabby nail salon I've ever walked into.. You choose a nail color but some nail polish are an extra $1. This was the quickest most rushed pedicure I've ever gotten in my life. Total was $23 + $5 tip = $28 My technician was also low-key judgey, you see her judgement in her facial expression/mannerism. She wasn't rude imo but I was more appalled that she didn't wear her mask...it was just hugging her chin?? My real rating was because she cut my toe nails wayyy too deep, literally into the nail bed area (no, I didn't bleed) and that's not the worse part!! She literally painted my SKIN because she rushed the nail polish job as more customers were walking in. She literally did the top coat in like 20 secs!! Jesus, they nicked my foot and didn't even apologize. I'm all for getting the job done in order to remove the dead skin but holy hell that wound stung like no tomorrow. As horrible as the experience was, I'm hoping it is a one-time mistake on the technician's end and it would occur again. Despite the sliced open wound, I tipped generously. I used to like this spot, but with the extra money they tack on with the dead skin scraping and cuts that drew blood, it might be time to go elsewhere. read more

The reviews are true. I give them 3 stars because it was just lack of skill, nothing wrong with the place or people. The prices were fair in comparison to the nail salons in general. I paid $30 for a gel manicure and the gel polish was problematic. I think the bottle was at the end of its life, and they either added thinners to extend the life or something along those lines. The edges of my nails were imperfect but like I said, just lack of skill. I walked in on a Fri afternoon and they were able to take me right away. I may be back given the proximity of where I needed to be but only for convenience. read more

This salon is great for the price. The biggest reason I keep coming back is because they wrap the tub with plastic to keep it sanitary. Not everyone likes that but I don't mind. It would be great if they offered different types of pedicure deals/packages like other places. They're decent for a basic mani/pedi. But I would love to see what other services they can offer since other salons include foot scrubs, foot massages etc. I haven't tried their gel services so I cannot speak about that but being able to match gel manis to a regular pedicure is a great to know as I will be coming here to try that next. read more

A good addition to the neighborhood, not the best spot I've ever been too but pretty good for what's available in the neighborhood. They do mani, pedis, gel, tips, waxing and etc. I've been here for mani, pedis and gel nails. They are pretty clean and have 3-4 pedi station and 4-5 tables for manis. They do a decent job especially it you just need one color. I've had nail art done and it really depends on the person doing it. If you want anything really fancy or complex, this might not be the place for you. They also have a large selection of color for both regular nail polish and gel nails. They even have matching gel/nail polish color sets if you wanted gel nails and regular pedi. read more

Horrible! HORRIBLE! RUN FROM THIS PLACE. This place is so unsanitary. It's dirty everywhere: their chairs, tables, floors, their covid plexi glass, their tools are not sanitized, just nasty. Who runs a business like this? How can you let your employees use unsanitary tools just laying around. They wash their towels in the pedicure station, which then they use those same towels to clean your legs and feet. Then they throw those towels on the floors, and pick them up again to clean the tools they just used on you. I was appaled. Their service quality is not good either. I have been going to this nail salon for the last 7 years - always clean, professional, accommodating and immaculate. I was squeezed in for a last minute appointment on a busy Sunday morning with May and as you can tell from the picture she always does an amazing job. I have never left this salon disappointed. I was searching in my neighborhood for a nail salon that did gel ex and am so glad I chose to go to Nail Station. $55 which is a standard price and Jenny was so thorough. She did the shape and length exactly how I wanted-- I've been to other salons and they can never get the perfect square/oval shape but Jenny was awesome!! I had high hopes for this place since my friends recommended I try this place out. I got acrylic tips which turned out the way I wanted at a reasonable length and in a sheer color. Kim was patient with me and evened out my nails when I noticed they were a bit crooked. I'm only going to give this place two stars. This place was a lot smaller than I expected. The ladies were nice and spoke some English. It just so happened that one of my nails started to lift, that same day I got them done and I was very upset. And by the middle of the week I lost 7 of my nails to lifting. I wanted to like Kim but as she shaped my nails she was working too hard on my pinky and cut me with the file. This place was hands down the best nail salon I've been to. I got a pedicure. And my feet were less than pretty. I went in a half hour before closing not realizing how long it would take. However, I was never rushed and my nail technician Alivia was so nice she took her time even when it was past closing (8pm). She did such a nice job and paid so close attention to detail I will definitely be coming back and asking for her. Great service and super cheap mani + pedi (only $20), but I've sadly chipped my nails immediately afterwards both times I've been here. Yikes! My brother's girlfriend, who is a regular here, tells me that I need to get the "quick dry oil." I keep forgetting, but hopefully I'll remember next time. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the quality of the mani-pedi (plus this place is right across from my house). They are very, very popular though; I came here as soon as they opened on a Saturday morning and I luckily snagged a spot - the people who came after me had to wait quite a while. After all, the whole mani-pedi lasts an hour and they don't have nearly as many customers as they do workers. Do make a reservation - they definitely prioritize those over walk-ins. I hate to write this review but it's important. I've been going to nail station for almost a decade. I only make appointments every couple of months when I am in town visiting as it is close to where I stay, but I have been a consistent customer for nearly ten years. My most recent trip I received a pedicure from TINA who made it very clear that she was mocking me and my feet the entire time. I'm not new to nail salons and know this is prevalent. But she was so blatant about it that even not knowing what exactly she was saying I was mortified. I was even more upset the owner did not seem to care nor seem to say anything to quiet TINA. While not a regular customer I was a consistent customer and I also tip very well, even TINA on that day. I enjoyed going there because they offer a service of callus removal on pedicures, don't offer that service if you are going to mock customers who use it or need it. This is part of your business. Nail station has lost a customer very unprofessional experience, no one old or new client should feel that way having a nice service preformed on them that they are paying good money for. WHAT is wrong with people??? I don't know who was there for all the great reviews but I am SOOOO utterly disgusted with their service that I wish I can put it on the news!! I call ahead and make an appointment, get there and they were actually pleasant. A girl names Alivia was the one doing my nails. I had gel on and needed to take it off and redo another gel manicure. She put the foil and stuff and I waited. When she finally got to doing my nails, I warned her twice to NOT CUT THEM SHORT! and what does she do? Cuts them so short that it doesn't even go above my finger tips!! So naturally I was very angry because there's jo coming back from that. So now my nails are too short to do the design that I REALLY wanted so I sat for like 10 minutes scrolling through pictures to figure out what can be done on such short ugly nails. Finally picked one and long story short I saw before she was done that it was AWFUL and VERY sloppily done so I said no way we have to take this off. Automatically the attitude started and she actually yelled at me saying why you no tell me when I did 1 nail?? WHAT??? Besides the fact that she cut off all my nails and CUT THREE CUTICLES DOWN TO NONSTOP BLEEDING, she has the audacity to yell at me??? I told her to take this off right now and that I'll put on tips (which I really didn't wanna do but ugh my nails were so short and disgusting) and asked as politely ad possible if someone else can do them. She said she and pointed to another lady. I'm sitting and waiting for the other lady to finish and then she tells me... wait for it... can you come back tomorrow? This lady can't do the design you want. WHAT? Then why even offer her and make me wait?? I got so angry that it told her that this is the worst nail salon I've ever been to and that I'm leaving. And I did, got up and left. Also just a note - when she cut my cuticles she didn't even tend to them. I had to ask her to put some sort of disinfectant on it! Just absolute WORST experience ever. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. I found another salon on 18th Avenue between 66th and 65th and they are incredible! And way cheaper! read more

$20 for the gel manicure when I went, and $13 for the regular pedicure. They charged $5 for the removal of a previous gel which is very typical. Price-wise, they are hard to beat. They have a very large gel color selection, and all of the nail techs are constantly working away. Cleanliness is a bit hit or miss. Some of the girls would do a quick spray of the station after another customer finished, but I found most didn't. They are also very gossipy with one another; I overheard them openly dissing another customer. I got a French gel manicure, and overall, it was just okay. The lady definitely rushed a bit through the nail job, but they looked nice at least. read more

As I said in my original review, I returned to get a permanent French fill in my nails. Two days later, the white UV gel portion of my French manicure that was paid extra for? Started to turn orange. Additionally, when I went in for my pedicure at the same time... The technician made me take off the flip flops (I left mine in the car) because they USE THEM ON MULTIPLE CUSTOMERS. She also washed her tools in the pedicure basin standing water my feet had been soaking in, and placed them back in her container-- ready for use. Absolutely horrified. Never coming back here. I have naturally long, hard nails that I barely ever paint or do anything to. A few days ago I decided to cut all my nails down just to start fresh, but then I decided I wanted to try something new. A week later I decided (while my nails were still short but apparently still long to all the nail techs here) that I wanted to try coffin nails. I got my pedicure done first, no issues here, then the nail tech told me don't do it, don't get the powder dip tips. She said they'll mess up my nails. 3 other nail techs came to look at my short bare nails and they all told me DONT DO IT. They said they wouldn't say that to me if my nails weren't already long and in great condition. I'm not going to lie, I get a lot of compliments on my natural nails, but I really wanted to try something new. Point is, I really appreciate the fact that they'd rather not have made money from me for the sake of keeping my nails in its natural condition. Anyway, I told Olivia that I still wanted to go through with it, I need to get it out of my system, and I'll go back to my natural nails. Olivia recommended getting gel done as that will harm my nails the least. Okay, sure. Let me tell you. I'm super picky with nails. I'm also ocd with my nails. But when I tell you how happy and satisfied I am with my new nails, I kid you not. Olivia was also very patient with me as it took me a long time to decide on color. Lol if I'm only going to try this once, I want to get it right, you know what I mean? I'm really happy with my nails and I didn't expect that at all. Satisfied customer here! I live in the area and have been coming here every so often, not as often to become a regular but usually during the warmer months and special occasions. I always come on a weekday or early morning during the weekend. I had always been treated gently and nicely by the technicians. Its my first time coming in during noon on a weekend, right now as I'm getting a pedicure, they gave me the worst technician, Wendy. She's was extra rough, really digging her cuticle pusher, pushing and pulling at my toes, all the while giving me dirty looks. Finally when I spoke to her in Chinese, she became nicer. I'm in love with this place and will no longer go to any other nail salon. The workers are so polite and the place is very clean and welcoming though it is small. The prices are really good and they have a picture slideshow of different types of nail art playing on a flat screen tv. This definitely helped with inspirations for designs for my nails. I went on a Sunday and they closed at 630, but I was there till almost 730 because I came close to closing.
