Oh, Chili's! You're a good addition to the Laveen restaurant lineup. I want this location to be GREAT, and in some ways it comes close, but you should manage your expectations of you're going to go here as a patron. Food: good value overall. You know what you're getting when you come here. It's not going to knock your socks off, but it's consistently good. Ambiance: this is a new location, so it's still really nice! I hope they keep it in good repair. The lighting and art is modern and fun. They keep it clean, and the booths and tables are in great shape. Service: most of the staff is young, and they're definitely still learning the art of hospitality versus just checking the boxes. Both times I've gone, it was like I had too many checkins at the beginning of the meal, but had to wait forrrrever for boxes. It'll serve the staff well to get down the cadence when balancing multiple tables. I also went shortly after they opened the last time I was there. The restaurant was nearly empty, but I had to ask three times for a booth. It made me feel weird that I had to be so assertive. If you haven't gone yet, this is your sign to go get a triple dipper and check it out. You probably won't regret it. read more

This is a very new restaurant. They are getting it together and the food is pretty good. Customer service was awesome

First time at this location - staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. However, service was terrible and food was mediocre. One friend had the chicken crispers, said they weren't the best as compared to other chilis locations. Two of us had the Santa Fe burger (veggie style) - we were disappointed, it was supposed to have jalapeños and guacamole....it had pickles but not sure what happened to the jalapeños :-) and a dab of guacamole. No biggie but the taste wasn't the best. Another friend had the steak fajitas which he really liked. We had the bottomless chips and if you can make it out in my picture, the chips were stuck to each other in clumps. Service was terrible period. When requested 1 refill, the waitress told so long we were done eating. Instead of ice tea, she brought a pitcher of warm tea with no ice, dark as coffee. When I pointed it out, she offered to bring ice but never did. Requested condiments and salt, she forgot. It is just not a place I will opt to go...lots of other options so I definitely won't drive to this location for the heck it. If you choose to go, I hope you have a better experience. read more

Ordered the triple dipper. When food arrived I was given mozzarella sticks instead of the chicken tenders. I pointed this out to the staff. The "manager" or shift leader, not sure she did not introduce herself. She asked for the mozzarella sticks back in order to get my replacement. It was 2 sticks. What unsanitary restaurant takes back food to throw it away. Or was she hungry and wanted to eat them herself. Any place would bring me what I ordered and leave the TWO mozzarella sticks. How petty. Maybe we need to let the health inspector or corporate know that you take back 2 mozzarella sticks to be petty. read more

I walked into Chili's as a normal human being and walked out a changed soul. The moment I sat down, I could feel the ancestors whispering, "Get the Triple Dipper." And I listened. Quenching. The fries? Perfectly seasoned. The mozzarella sticks stretched so far I briefly considered filing them as a local landmark. My burger was so juicy I needed a moment of silence out of respect. The drinks? Bottomless. I don't know how, I don't ask questions, I simply accept blessings. The atmosphere was electric. TVs glowing. Booths comfy. Chili pepper logo staring into my soul, daring me to order dessert (I did). Service was so good I half expected my server to tuck me in and read me a bedtime story. I had a very disappointing experience at this Chili's location and felt it was worth sharing. We came in as a party of 7 around 10:20 PM, understanding that closing time is 11:00 PM. We are familiar with the menu so after a long day of work we were ready to order , have dinner and go home and rest. However, from the moment we were seated, the service was extremely poor. No one came to greet us or offer drinks for quite a while. I finally asked a waiter passing by if we were going to get help since the table next to us arrived after we did and they already had their drinks. When our server (Gabriela, per the receipt) finally approached the table, she did not introduce herself, smile, or provide any basic level of hospitality--she simply asked if we were ready to order. Throughout the meal, she never asked if we needed refills, I had to ask her. And we had to rely on ourselves while other staff walked around doing side tasks like messing with ketchup bottles or checking their phones. I do have to say when other employees dropped some food off at our table they were smiling and nice and they did ask if everyone and everything was okay. Once we finished eating, no one brought the check, and the kiosk at the table did not display our total. We had to actively look for someone just to request a box for leftovers. When Gabriela eventually returned, she dropped off the ticket without asking if we needed to split the bill or explaining the payment process. She began clearing the table while we were still figuring out how to pay, without communicating anything. We ended up walking toward the exit to pay, where another employee helped us, she told us we had to pay with our waiter to which I responded I no longer wanted to go back to ask for help. She kindly helped us pay.  I completely understand that employees can have off days, but this level of service was unacceptable--especially for a new neighborhood location where you'd expect a welcoming atmosphere. Showing up almost an hour before closing should not result in being treated like an inconvenience. I had already read bad reviews on the neighborhood group online about this new location but I thought maybe they had a bad experience and I wanted to give it a try.  Management should seriously address staff training and customer service expectations. Happy to welcome Chili's to our Laveen neighborhood! When my husband and I visited at 3:30pm ...to our surprise it was PACKED. That being said the service was amazing. Several different employees checked in our table throughout our dining experience. Food was hot and the bottomless chips kept rolling in! My only complaint is that chilis does not include alcoholic drink prices on their menus (more of a corporate complaint than locational). I understand their business model but customers who do care about prices don't want to hold up their waiter/waitress to ask for the price of each drink to ultimately make a decision. You cannot even find the pricing online. Including drink prices on menus may speed up overall service in turn helping out the staff! read more

The food was average like any other chili's but at least it's in laveen and we finally have an actual sit down restaurant for once..The service wasn't top notch.. Are waitress forgot that we were her table and she had the audacity to come back when were finishing our meal to ask did someone take you or no when we already had new drinks. At least she checked instead of assuming. The floor was VERY slippery with grime and others at my table also complained about this floor. Otherwise the busser boys/hostess were super nice. Ended up calling back and a different manager states we were given wrong info from manager. We were told we needed to call door dash for refund. Been coming to this new Chilis in my area at least once a week and the food has been hot and fresh until today. I ordered on line and got a text 6min later saying my food was ready. Not a good sign. Fries were cold, drink was flat. Burger was ok but can tell it was not cooked to order. Side salad was in like a Mac n cheese/mashed potatoes container. Someone did not care about this order. As new restaurant in Laveen the service is great. The only challenge was accommodating our party of 10. It would have been better to let us know at check in that there were limitations to seating us all together, like we only have two tables that can accommodate all of you. However, we were given a 30 minute wait time and when we were up for seating the issue of seating all of us together was apparent. But there were no solutions offered except we would need to wait even longer to sit together. We ended up in 3 booths close to each other. We figured that out and suggested it. Not ideal but by this time we were waiting almost 50. minutes. Staff that seated us were a bit hesitant because they said we would be seated in two different servers areas. Ironically, the server that had two tables in her area was not aware that one table did not receive their food at all while ours did. The booths were back to back. The food itself was enjoyed by all. It just would have been nice to be informed from the get go and/ some problem solving by staff. read more

Wish I could leave 0 stars! Watching management treat staff this way ruined the experience. The manager, Dharma, and the GM, Jay, were openly disrespectful toward female servers while clearly favoring male employees. The attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, and it was obvious to customers. If this is how management behaves in public, I can't imagine what it's like behind the scenes.
