I've also gotten laser hair removal as well. Ryan, my nurse and co-owner of the facility, does the HRT. I went to him after having a horrible experience at a different facility. He is so caring and thorough. He really takes the time to get to know his patients and focus on their specific needs. He's also very gentle with injecting the pellets - I still yelp when he does it though as the initial stick always gets me! It makes him laugh though. So glad I can provide him with a little entertainment during the procedure. Sophie does my facials and also did my laser hair removal. She's amazing! I don't even know what kind of facial I'm getting most of the time, but she always knows the one I need when I come in because my face always glows after. I love going to see her. It's like going to hang out with a friend - we talk and laugh and have a great time! All that's missing is a cocktail or two! Stephanie and Dani are the nurses that do my IV therapy. They are so sweet! Love them too! When I come in for the IV, they already know I actively stay dehydrated - I just work so hard that I forget to stop to eat and drink! So they offer me water as soon as I walk in. They're very gentle with the needle too! Really the entire staff is wonderful. My very first waxing experience was so traumatic, I had to research other places on Yelp because in my that experience, I had booked a particular person based on the reviews, and I found out at the end of my session that I got someone else because that person did not introduce herself in the beginning. I also opted for a full bikini wax session, and that lady pressured me to get more hair off more than I had planned for. Green Wave was A MUCH BETTER VIBE!! I was immediately greeted by staff the moment I walked in, and a minute later, my wax technician greeted me and introduced herself as Mariana with a friendly smile. I already started to feel at ease. She gave me an obstetric wipe to use before we got started, which puts me more at ease seeing how careful and meticulous their processes are. I can't say that waxing down there is painless because it's still hurt, but it didn't hurt as bad as my first experience -- I opted for the deep bikini ($35) and she cleaned up very well! She even offered to trim the rest of my hairs. Mariana was very patient with me, even asked if I wanted more hair removed and I did not feel pressured at all! Even after each pull, she applied pressure to dull the pain, and put powder and at the end used a cooling spray. Some of these techniques I noticed were never done in the first place I went to, which was just all pull and pull with no mercy. When I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to that could help me, I was told no. I wasn't asked my phone number to be called at a later time, and am extremely disappointed as the location is very close to my office. It is hard for customers to give you their business if they can't get to it to begin with. Please have someone who is a bit more resourceful when answering your phones. There is another laser hair center close, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone who has had the same experience as I've had, gives them their business instead.

When it was time for business to start opening back up slowly, many business were not able to come back and had no choice to shut down permanently. Unfortunately, this happened to the place where my stylists used to work. But luckily he was able to find a new salon where can work and he contacted me when he found out when can start working again, which is what led me to this place. I have not been to this place before but I felt very comfortable and safe coming in. They have very detailed and strict guidelines to ensure everyone's safety. For example, customers had to call in from their cars upon arrival so they can make sure there's plenty of room for social distancing. We had to use hand santizer sanitizer when we walk through the front door. We all have to wear masks the entire time during the visits. In addition to the safety rules, the place looked very clean and organize. The beauty chairs are positioned so customers will not be breathing to each other because the wall mirrors are placed between each chair. Touchless payment method is used so you can pay directly to your stlist and you dont have to wait and pay at the front desk. This location might be a little out of the way from my house, but I dont mind driving a little further so I can still support local businesses.
