This is a salon so I understand a bit of this and the shampoo bowls could have been stained instead of dirty but it was just not a great first impression. I asked my wife what the general pricing for braids is, and she gave me a good range for just the service, plus the service if the business provides the hair. With those figures in mind, plus my frugal meter activated, I called several places to price shop. Lo and behold, I come across this place. They answered my queries via phone, and I agreed to bring my daughter to them. I walk into the place, and several sets of feminine eyes gazed upon me. I was kindly greeted and asked what style I needed done, along with the length. I was given the price and was given an estimated time range for completion. 1. I love friendly businesses. 2. I love getting the complete pricing immediately. Surprise fees irk my soul. 3. They were spot earlier than projected with the completion because another worker finished their head and went to help get my daughter's head done. First impressions are lasting impressions, and these African ladies delivered. I was shocked that none of the ladies were from Nigeria. To top off my experience, one worker was leaving and told me she would just bring my daughter home. That's customer service for you. I'm not certain if they were extra helpful because they saw a dad with his daughter, or that worker was just having a great day and wanted to be a blessing. Either way, I recommend this business. Today, We came to get summertime cuts to prep for this Texas heat. 10/10 recommend because great service and experience. Normally, I'm so picky because I naturally have curly hair and it's been challenging to find anyone experienced to handle, cut, and care curly hair. I'm really happy with the cut, it's exactly what we wanted. They take walk-ins and reservations. They offer waxing, threading, color, styling, makeup services, nails, etc. so versatile!
