My friends raved about Mango Mango, so I stopped by one Saturday midday to check it out for myself! I ordered a bunch of desserts, including the mango mochi, mango pancake, mango Mille crepe cake, and the green tea Mille crepe cake. All were light, sweet, and surprisingly fresh with the addition of fresh mango! My favorite was the mango pancake, which had a light cream layered on fresh mango pieces wrapped in a thin pancake. I wished there was a little more mango in the mango to cream ratio, but overall it was delightful. The shop itself has adorable retro decor with plenty of seating. Ohhhhhh I'm so glad I finally went in here for dessert. First off, the space is so beautiful! There is a gorgeous teal wall with burnt orange cut outs, lovely lighting fixtures, and the restaurant is super clean! This is a counter-service dessert space with Hong Kong style desserts, most of which include mango! I had the black rice and mango over coconut cream (sooooooo delicious and not overly sweet) and my husband built his own crepe. Both were not only super tasty, but also very pretty. We came on Sunday after roasting at the baseball game and what a perfect way to cool off! Even though it was 3PM on a Sunday, the parking lot was full! The one downside is that the parking lot is rather small, but I believe there was some street parking near by. They had quite an extensive menu with many options to chose from. We were delighted to see a Hong Kong-style dessert stop here. We got the strawberry mango sago, with fresh fruit chunks and mango sorbet afloat in a sweet soup with jelly. Refreshing, bit small for the price. I was very excited when I heard an Asian dessert shop was coming to Asia Town! My friend and I went on opening day around 5PM and stood in line for about 40 mins (which was expected!) First off, interior is very modern with pops of color. There are a lot of tables and booths so big parties to solo customers can dine in to chat or do some work! They also have this cute mango chair for the gram. Okay onto the food. My friend and I ordered an assortment of pastries to share and try! We get the king durian cream puff, mozzarella ube cube cake and peach lychee cake. We wanted the mango and matcha crepe cake but they were all sold out :(. King Durian cream puff was the winner out of the 3 that we got. I'm not a fan of durian, and the initial smell was onion-y. But once I took a bite into the cream puff, the onion taste subsided and more of a banana and mango flavor came out. Not overly sweet which was perfect. Outer puff layer was still crunchy and didn't get soft. Mozzarella Ube Cube cake was our second favorite. It pretty much tasted like a sweet potato pie and was very dense. The peach lychee was last on our list of favorites. You really couldn't taste the peach flavor, and the lychee layer was like jello. Honestly that layer of jello tasted more like an orange than lychee. I also got the signature Milk Tea with boba. The tea was very good, but the tapioca pearls were hit or miss. Some were hard and some were chewy. They also don't have the option to adjust sweetness so you get it however they make it! Such a cute place! Went to Asia town in Cleveland and so many cute and good places! Parking lot is small but the place has plenty of room inside. Everyone was nice and helpful of the menu. An ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE cafe! All the drinks and snacks are so photo-worthy and the cafe itself is so clean and well decorated. It's a fun place to sit down after having Asian food at the restaurants nearby to enjoy some light sweets. The service is always speedy and polite and there's always plenty of open seating. I've been back here numerous times now and the drinks and desserts have always been reliably tasty (5/5!). Mango Mango Dessert is a decent sized chain with desserts that look too delectable to ignore. We decided to get a couple of items while driving through Cleveland. Signature Bubble Milk Tea, 50% Sweet ($5.95) - The tea had some quite fragrant notes to it. I don't think it's a plain black tea, maybe Assam tea? Half sweet was good for the drink. The drink came with boba that wasn't the best - on the hard side without a good chew. This was the least favorite of the three items we got. Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo with Mango Ice Cream ($7.95) - This dessert could be easily finished by one person and it's refreshing and light on the palate. It has a super burst of mango goodness. The mango chunks are sweet and tangy, almost perfectly ripe. The mango juice almost feels like it's been blended with extra large amounts of mango because it had a body to it, almost like a smoothie texture. I'm not sure if there was added sugar to the juice because it was sweeter than the ice cream. The sago brings some nice texture to the dish. There was only a small amount of pomelo on top of the scoop of ice cream. Not sure why they added it - maybe just for color or garnish? The only disappointing thing about this dish was the ice cream - while it tasted richly of mango, I could tell it wasn't very fresh and/or was churned incorrectly. There were a lot of ice crystals that really dampened the smoothness of what could have been a good ice cream. Ube Frappucinno ($7.25) - This is a perfect drink on a warm day. At first, you can't really tell it's ube, but as you go further and further down, the flavor starts to really concentrate into a nice earthy and nutty sweetness. They use fresh ube in this drink, not powder. We could also tell that the whipped cream on top was fresh. We left it alone for about 5 or 10 minutes to work on the other dessert we got, and the cream started to really deflate. Make sure to eat the cream fast! I would try the other desserts in the future but avoid the boba! read more

There's a small free parking lot outside at their AsiaTown location but just be prepared to be patient as you may need to find alternative parking. It's usually always full as the line is out the door with customers. However, the staff does a great job keeping the line moving. The interior is bright, comfortable and spacious, with several different seating options and intentional areas to take photos. They'll serve up your desserts on cute bamboo trays, and in sum, the methodical ambiance just begs you to take the photo (I mean, look how good my iPhone pics turned out). Once you place your order from their vast and colorful dessert menu, you just take a seat until your order is up. We waited maybe 10 minutes. I ordered the matcha tea cake and lime bubble tea. Both were absolutely delicious and not overly sweet! The matcha cake was the perfect consistency and melted in your mouth just as it should. I loved that the tea drinks come in stylish to-go cups already that you can take with you. I'm already thinking about a return visit just to snag that cake again! Love it! read more

It's great to see a dessert forward place come to Cleveland, I just wish it wasn't a chain. The decor gives a cozy environment and it's a perfect place to hang out and chat with friends over delicious desserts. I ordered the green tea crepe cake and matcha brulee bubble tea while a friend ordered a banana, strawberry, nutella crepe with a scoop of mango ice cream. The mango ice cream on the crepe was delicious. My crepe cake and bubble tea were good although I didn't taste any brulee flavor in the tea. Crepe cakes have always been a favorite dessert of mine. If you have not tried them, just do it! I did find this place to be a bit pricey but since they only have desserts and tea, I am sure they have to increase the prices or else they would only break even. The letdown of this place is that the desserts are not displayed. I love going into a dessert/pastry place and being able to look and pick items out based on what looks good to me in that moment. Thrilled to see a new business open up in the Cleveland Asiatown scene! I had never heard of Mango Mango until their opening, but it garnered a lot of hype from my friends and family who had tried their sweets in other cities. Thus, expectations were pretty high after seeing the pictures of long lines after their grand opening. We went on a less busy night, and ordered the mango crepe cake, earl-grey/ chestnut cake, and the red bean shaved ice. The good: -Really cute interior; mango themed decor with ample seating. Great place for hanging out with friends and date nights -Wide selection of sweet desserts and drinks; also although I'm not a durian fan I appreciate them bringing durian sweet options for the public to try -Portion size of the mango crepe cake was pretty large; was definitely the best out of the three we ordered (and is what they are known for) The eh?: -With most bakeries I've been in, they typically have a display case where customers can see what's offered. At Mango Mango it was a bit strange to me that this wasn't the case -- as all the drinks/ desserts are made in the back. While the menu had pictures on them, I think it was a bit hard to choose what to order since we couldn't see what the portion sizes would be, or what they looked like in reality. Would be a great consideration for the business moving forward -Cost of items are a bit on the pricier side for desserts in the Cleveland scene -While the mango crepe cake was pretty good, the earl grey/ chestnut cake was lacking :( The cake had a hard texture when we ate it and we couldn't taste any other flavor besides the chocolate filling in the middle. The shaved ice met expectations, but was pricey for the portion and toppings that were included. Overall, I do recommend that everyone check out Mango Mango if they haven't since it is a unique dessert shop that has entered the Cleveland Scene with great promise! Mango Mango has finally opened! I have seen this chain many times across the US but have never tried it before. I came here on their soft opening day. The parking lot was small and full so we parked on the street. The line to order went by quickly, but the wait to get our desserts and drinks was long and took about 45 minutes. I was getting impatient but it was understanding considering they are brand new. It looks like they will have online ordering available soon according to their website, which will hopefully mitigate this issue. The inside is quite spacious and aesthetic with comfy seating. It would be a nice place to study or do work at once the hype dies down. I ordered the blush rose bubble milk tea and the mango mille crepe cake. I was pretty satisfied with my drink and think it's the best rose milk tea I've had in the area. The boba is smaller and less sweet than at other places. The crepe cake was fluffy, light and not overly sweet so I really enjoyed it. For durian fans, I've heard that the king durian mille crepe cake is pretty legit. My boyfriend ordered the ube frappuccino and earl grey chestnut honey cake. The ube frappuccino tasted like an actual sweet potato and unlike the more artificial ube flavor we expected, so he wasn't a big fan and enjoyed his cake better. We also got a passion fruit green tea for free as they were giving it away for orders over $10. What a cute spot, and what a fun menu! I know it's a chain, and I'm not usually a big chain gal, but this one is legit, and it's unlike anything else Cleveland already had, so the novelty goes a long way. I used to not like boba because I thought they tasted like wet fruit snacks, but now I love them precisely *because* they taste like wet fruit snacks? My friend got the taro bubble milk tea, and I got the Oreo brûlée boba tea (half sweet). It was delicious, even if I didn't exactly go for the world's most authentically Asian flavor! We also split the mozzarella cube cube cake, which we ordered because they sounded so different -- and who can resist a vibrant ube dessert?! "Cake" felt like a bit of a misnomer here, as these were really, like, small, purple mozzarella sticks in the shape of squares. But they were AWESOME -- bright purple, lightly sweet, mega-cheesy, with a sort of crepe-like outside shell. They were piping hot and really unusual, like nothing I've ever had before... and I can't wait to have them again! This place reminds me of the typical asian dessert places you would see in LA or NYC. The overall interior design is very modern and you can tell they put good money into the place.
