    Belgian Waffle
    Jenesis S.

Came to have some breakfast & it smells amazing outside. Unfortunately I was given A grill cheese and Tuna but I had asked for a Tuna Sandwich. My gf asked for a Belgian Waffle & Egg Whites total was $27 which was not bad. I just wish I could've got what I ordered ... service was great. It's a country kind of ambiance. Honestly not coming back.

This place was a smaller diner but for a Saturday brunch time it was busy and we were helped right away. The waffle had a good batter and maintained a crisp even after I buttered it up. Bacon was nice and crispy, not too salty. The staff were really kind and we could see them joking with each other. It was nice watching the cook do his thing and he was always cleaning his station while still getting all the orders done promptly. They were decorated pretty rustic. It wasn't hot inside and they had good airflow even with the open kitchen. A great experience. If we are ever back in town then we'd return.

    The Dirty Moose special!

Love this place. Very small diner. Mainly counter seating where you can watch your food being cooked. Staff are always great, portions are huge and price is reasonable. When it's busy it can take some time to get seated...it's very small...but worth the weight. Some parking on the street but there is also a small lot in back with a back door you can enter through. Had one of their specials today, The Dirty Moose - biscuits, gravy, hash-browns, bacon, eggs, cheese...all stacked up! Enough food for three meals!

Service would have been quick but we came in during the afterschool lunch special! The special for students was $7-$8 for a burger, fries and a drink. I got a Denver omelet that was the same size as the plate with a side of home fries potatoes and pancake. The decorations were amazing, funny and retro!

The service was great. Even though it was a busy Sunday morning we only had to wait less than 10 minutes for a spot at the counter. This is one of my favorite dive restaurants. You sit picnic style and by the end of your meal you will have made new friends. The food is good and the portions are far more than generous. I love this place and I will be back soon.

Tiny family run cafe. It has a few tables and a huge counter you can sit at. The cook is amazing! I got the "Dealers Choice." It's an omelette made into a burrito. I chose the three cheese omelette and it was DELICIOUS!!! It was so big, I could only finish half. My husband got the "Dirty Moose." It's biscuits, gravy, eggs, hash browns, sausage and cheese. It's HUGE!!!!!!! Other diners sitting at the counter next to us were commenting on the size. He took down a sizable amount but ultimately needed a Togo box. I would definitely go back.

Everything is made right in front of you and the service is exceptional...I relied heavily on our server to help me choose the best options and it was spot on! Highly recommend if you're anywhere near Manteca.

Always excellent service and food!! We love this little local gem. Expect to sit at the counter, which is really fun and feels like we've stepped back in time. There are only a few tables and they are small. This is not a place to bring a group! We shared steak and eggs and it was plenty of food for both of us. They even split it for us, and did charge 2.50 but that was fine. Manny, the cook is amazing! We sat right behind him as he cooked and it was like watching a show! We will be back-again and again!

Waited for a table, not long. They have a bench outside. Place was poppin, a little small but definitely worth it. Host was nice, waitress seemed a little stressed- can't blame her. We ordered kids pancakes, 2 of the pigs in the blanket. Portions were huge, definitely can share. Follow up from staff at the table was great, loved the check in. Will for sure be back again!

    Breakfast burrito

Food was more than enough. You could split some of the dishes like the pancakes and breakfast burritos. We got a breakfast burrito the size of our head. Classic home style dishes. Service was quick and very accommodating to our two large families with lots of toddlers. Smaller restaurant, seating was limited, we were lucky to snag a table in the back. Otherwise, order to go if you have a larger family. But definitely worth the buck.

I ordered a plate of crispy hashbrowns topped with tender pulled pork, smothered in rich, creamy gravy, and sprinkled with fresh jalapeños for a perfect kick. We tried a few different flavors, and each one was bright, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the savory food. (Rachel Green would approve.) The staff was friendly, kept the coffee refills coming, and made us feel welcome without hovering. The kalua pork was probably reheated on the griddle, kind of salty, it was meh. The biggest disappointment was the rice. It was hard. For a "Hawaiian" restaurant to not know how to cook rice is sad. Given the multitude of licenses at stake in such enterprises, I wish to share my recent experience at this location. This morning, my husband and I visited, and we were somewhat disappointed with the quality of our orders. He ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, while I ordered an oat milk latte with an extra shot of espresso at a temperature of 200 degrees. He also selected a ham, cheese, and egg croissant, and I opted for a bacon and cheese croissant. Regrettably, the items did not meet our expectations. The beverages lacked the desired strength; although the temperature was correct, I was informed after placing our order that they were out of oat milk and had to substitute it with almond milk. Given that we had already paid approximately $30, this was quite disappointing. Despite these concerns, we did not request a discount or refund, and we accepted the substitution that was communicated to us approximately 10 to 15 minutes after placing our order. On a positive note, the staff were very courteous, and the establishment was clean. However, I suspect that the items we ordered may not represent the best offerings on their menu. While the service was commendable, there was a notable wait involved. It would have been preferable to have been informed of the oat milk shortage prior to payment, as we might have chosen to leave at that point. Unfortunately, our dissatisfaction led us to seek alternative options, and we subsequently drove to Stockton to visit Peet's Coffee, where we consistently find lattes prepared to our liking. While we may not return to this location, I do not wish to portray it negatively. It is clear that the establishment has potential, yet our experience did not align with our expectations.
