We decided to try this place from word of mouth. The atmosphere and friendliness of the staff was second to none and the food was scrumptious! I wore my Giants jersey and was given dap by the owner and started conversations with a few of the staff members in regard to my outfit. The meal is acceptable, but almost everything is pre-cooked and packaged. They don't prepare their own country-fried steak or their own hash browns. They come out of a container or package. read more

This little one aisle place is hidden away and you will have to luck onto it or get a tip from a local like we did. This homely little place is certainly a local fav and when we arrived was filled to the brim and a short wait line was in place. The waitress was so friendly by the time we finished breakfast she was like a family member. She was very attentive and returned several times to check on us and refill our beverages. There were four of us and we had traditional plates. Eggs and bacon. Pancakes and one had the chicken fried steak and gravy. It was no surprised that the chicken fry was frozen in that our table was 2 ft from the freezer and the fry cook came and retrieved it right after we ordered. The bacon was good albeit a bit over cooked ( seemed like it was precooked and popped into the fryer to heat up. The biscuits home made moist and good. Eggs were just right. The pancakes well done and the steak as you would expect Pre- prepared and bland but perked up with the homemade gravy. All in all it was a fine little home grown breakfast place and worth the stop. Pretty tasty restaurant. I really liked the coffee. The steak and eggs were good, the burger was good, the omelette with chorizo was weird. It was a perfect rectangle and had what looked like velveeta cheese on top. Not sure if chorizo was in it. It tasted good, but not what I expected, it's the only reason to drop a 5 star down to a 4. My guess it's something premade and microwaved as I've never had a perfectly rectangular omelette before. I would go back, but not for the chorizo omelette. read more

The owner was very friendly and engaging with all the customers, the staff was friendly and were having fun and the food was very good. What a great place for a bite. I have never seen such a happy staff in my life. The chef is a great representation of how a business can make a customer come back. The food is great and the prices were reasonable compared the madness inflation that is going around. I think part of why everyone is happy here has to do with the fact that they close at 1:30 pm.
