While I was in the area killing time I stumbled upon this place. The menu is pretty cool. The atmosphere is good. They messed up on my order though. I ordered a Texas cheeseburger and they gave me a regular cheeseburger. It's ok since they charged me a cheeseburger. All in all I will come back again great food great staff definitely try it out.

They say everything is bigger in Texas...even here in Manteca, CA. Texas Country is cooking up their version of Big T sized food!! The "Country Skillet" is a layered monster with biscuit, scrambled eggs, bell peppers, onions, sausage topped with white cheddar cheese and country gravy! Trust me this will give you a couple meals. Stop in and check them out. Staff is friendly, food is delicious, restaurant is clean and well decorated.

Came here for breakfast and loved the country vibe -- good music, fun décor. Portions were huge and everything tasted great (the chilaquiles were YUM). Big shoutout to Jose -- best service! He kept our drinks full, checked in often, and had us laughing with his jokes. Exactly how service should be. Good food + good vibes + great service = we'll be back!

Visited this place while working close by and glad I did! The food was good and overall being from Texas I enjoyed seeing all the Texas decor and the chicken fried steak I had been missing. The food had good flavor and cooked well and had good presentation. The service was good and no issues at all. Will consider coming back here to taste other additional Texas dishes.

Great Place! Excellent service, superb menu variations and value. Servings are generous and delicious. The owner came to each table to thank the patrons. Highly recommend for breakfast.

The food is absolutely the best. The Chef Mauricio is 5 Star ***** at his craft. The Wait/Servers are very efficient from the time you enter the front door. Small, Comfy and Clean. I am sure that a family of 10 + could be accomodated with ease. Try the Steak and Eggs... if you use any A-1 Sauce, it will be for the country potatoes because the Steak does well on it's own.

This is my second time visiting this Breakfast/Lunch spot. I really want to say they knocked out of the park. However they have fallen short for the second time. The first time I ordered the Portuguese skillet and it had no Portuguese beans . I feel the reason is because it has linguica , "If you know You Know". It was average at best. This time I order the Red Chilaquiles. The presentation was fantastic, see photos. However just like the skillet it had no gas. Luke warm red sauce mixed with corn tortilla chips topped with two eggs and carnitas. It was average in taste again at best. Final thoughts. Texas is big and this place has a speck of Texas flavors. PS the staff is very nice the place is clean and plenty of parking. They also offer Veterans discounts. Also, I may try one more time in the coming weeks but, for lunch.

You walk into a diner that maximizes their space with tables almost up to the door (which while seeming crowded upon entry, can be nice for the purpose of slow on more crowded days. With a Texas/Western theme for the decor, you get a purposeful country breakfast selection on the menu. The country music I grew up on cycles through the restaurant (making it kind of hard to read since instead I sing to myself!) The music videos actually... just noticed the TV in the top corner near the windows. Between the biscuits and gravy and chilaquiles, the waitress suggested the latter, so of course that's the route I went. I added the tritip to my chilaquiles, and while I didn't dislike it by any means, I don't know that I felt it added any additional value to the dish. I'd probably do it without next time. My egg was perfectly runny as requested and the dish a beautiful mess when you broke into it, paired with the tasty salsa verde. The biscuits and gravy and the black bean burger are the next two things on my list to try here in the future! Lastly, you seem to go the counter to pay. I hadn't realized that until I was sitting there for some time.

Texas Burger! Oh my! I should have got a side view! This is a quality burger. Quality Angus meat.

The Texas Angus burger was amazing! I gave the cook a thumbs up and he came to our table. This is by far the BEST BURGER in town! We went in at 11:00 and I was able to get a booth. The people are really nice and catered to our needs. The decor is nice and it was clean.

First time here and very impressed! I got the southwest chicken salad and look how pretty she is! It's also surprisingly filling! It was fresh and service was great! Friendly staff and a good experience! Will definitely be back to check out other great menu items!

I was a little worried coming here on a Saturday at 10am and there wasn't a wait time. The service is excellent and the food was even better. I ordered the Chicken fried steak and it was perfect. The country potatoes had just the right amount of seasoning and cooked just the way I like it. I also order a short stack and they were huge pancakes. This place seems as if it were just remodeled. The entire restaurant and bathroom was very clean.

Very clean and food is really good

It's located in an industrial area and I'm so happy my family asked to have Italian for this dinner. Julia was our server and was awesome! I appreciated her patience, suggestions, her attention to detail and sense of humor. Service as a whole was top tier here. We got there just in time before their dinner rush. After we ordered the dining room, bar and patio filled up. I had a Cali Squeeze blood orange brew on tap. It was perfectly chilled and perfect on this hot day. We ordered a meatball sub as an appetizer. Oh my goodness, this a must if you are a meatball fan. It was perfect and marinara didn't give me instant heartburn. For entrées our kids ordered chicken alfredo, hubby ordered their Tuscan Siena special and I had to try their steak sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. My steak sandwich had a lot of meat in it, but it was a little dry for my liking. The bread was dry, no condiments, just some onions. We took the leftovers back to our hotel and I picked the steak out and had it with some mustard as a snack. That was more satisfying. We did help our kids eat their chicken alfredo and I enjoyed it with some extra pepper. Next time I'm in Manteca, I will be back for a meatball sub and their fries. I'm so sad I didn't come back for another one and a cold one before leaving, but we'llbe back. This cozy local gem is family friendly, serve great Italian food and their prices are fair. I highly recommend and I look forward to returning. Thank you Julia for your hospitality and great service.

I've been on the halal food kick for a few years now. I've been to a few spots but after having some of the best I've ever tried in NYC, I had been chasing that same level of food ever since. To be honest I'm not sure what people actually call this food, like is it technically middle eastern food or what. I'm not sure. Ever since I had first started eating it, it was introduced to me as halal food. Then is the Greek/Mediterranean version of it still considered/prepared halal? All of this to say I don't necessarily know what good halal food really is but I can tell you about my experience. Food: What I can say is that I have never had a bad food experience here. I've had their chicken shawarma, the gyros and most recently the fries. The chicken shawarma is flavorful yet not overpowering. I don't know how to describe the flavors because I'm not too familiar with their food type. What I really like is that they get a nice char and crisp from cooking it on the flat top. As for the gyro it's rich and flavorful as well. I'd like if they got a little crisp and char on it like their chicken but with the tenderness you get from it it's hard to complain. I also really enjoy their hummus. It's pretty basic but good. I like that it comes as part of their plates but you can also get a side order of it as well. To prep my lunches for the week I'd often buy some hummus and their raw chicken shawarma. That's how much I enjoy their food. Recently I ordered their chicken shawarma fries and those were on point as well. Crispy fries on top of some chopped veggies with that all topped with a generous portion of chicken shawarma. General: They share the location with my favorite coffee shop in the area (House of Mokha). Habibi's is the market up in the front half of the building with a butcher counter and also serves the halal food that appears made or order. Aside from their food, I enjoy the variety of (middle eastern?) drinks and sodas.

That is a tough act to follow. The Caprese Sandwich sounded really good. I spent a long time trying to decide what went with Sourdough Bread. We lived in San Jose and went to the other coast, so I've never had San Francisco sourdough bread. I ordered the clam chowder and the Caprese Sandwich sounded. I wanted a 4 inch sandwich but they only had 6 and 8 inch sizes of that certain sandwich. Those two and iced tea gave me a total just under $30. Gaaaahhhhh! It's 2025 and after the pandemic but I'm still adjusting. I went to sit and noticed a dirty table and a mess on the floor. I sat at the next table and hoped that they cleaned it. After a while, they brought the food to me. The clam chowder was good and there was plenty of meat. Usually, restaurants cheapen the mix with loads of potatoes and a hint of clam. The Caprese Sandwich was also very good. I don't realize that it was supposed to come with mozzarella, and I should not have asked for provolone. (If you know all the places in Philly or Jersey where I got sandwiches, you'll know I have some experience.)
