I would recommend going with another option. Diane, while a kind person, is not equipped to provide a thorough cleaning service (especially during COVID). She was 30 minutes late, arrived so disheveled, and did not wear a mask or gloves. She also asked me what we wanted cleaned even though my husband detailed our expectations in their original exchange, and she asked if we had a vacuum and a broom she could use so that she didn't have to go to her car to retrieve her own. Wanting to give her a chance (and some COVID-appropriate space), I answered her questions and moved to our backyard for the duration of the cleaning....which took four hours. For our approx. 850 sq. ft. 2-bed 1-bath generally already tidy apartment. After her departure, we noticed multiple surfaces and our ceiling fans were left unaddressed. As she left, she did repeatedly say she would come back if we needed her to be more thorough, but after four hours we were just ready for it to be over. I'm surprised by the other reviews that mention her thoroughness and quick work. Whether due to a bad day, inconsistent execution or something else, that was not our experience at all. We will not be utilizing this cleaning service* again. *Please also note that Diane's House Cleaning Services on Yelp also appears to be the same person. I made an appointment with Diane for my 1 bedroom apartment in Redondo Beach at 9:15 am and gave her the address 2 days before our appointment. On the day that she was supposed to come I didn't hear from her and I called her 10 minutes after our appointment time. She said that she lost my information and needed the address. I gave her the address and she said it would take her a half hour to arrive. I waited 40 minutes and didn't hear from her and she stopped answering my calls. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for cleaning services... I made an appointment for a Thursday at 11:30am. Sent her my address and phone number and thought we were all set. Then she texts me Tuesday night and says she can't do Thursday anymore. So we set up another appointment for Wednesday at 2:30pm. Wednesday morning I text her letting her know some more specifics about my apartment and she sends me multiple texts about how hot it's going to be in the afternoon. She asks me to move my appointment multiple times because she was up early and doesn't want to work in the afternoon and in the heat (it was 77 degrees that day btw) I told her repeatedly I was not able to move the appointment since I work and had meeting obligations I couldn't get out of. On Wednesday she texts me at 1pm saying that now she can't come but she "tried her best to make it" an hour and a half before my appointment Now I'm having to scramble to try to book another service before Saturday since that's when my lease is.
