I really wanted to like this place and scoured Yelp, as I'm on the search for a nail salon I can be a regular at. However, I was severely disappointed. I requested a gel French pedicure, and I had Henry as my technician. He was super rough to the point where I had to pull my leg back so he would stop filing my hyponychium. He only applied one coat of the French, so you can still see my toe nail underneath. The French lines were also uneven - some are straight across while others are rounded. I went to work out after, and my toes hurt in my sneakers from how rough he was. read more

I paid for the deluxe manicure with regular polish, and overall it was a great experience! Most prices here are very affordable compared to most SF nail spots - I paid $35 for a deluxe manicure with Kim. She prepped my cuticles well, shaped my nails to my liking, and the overall process was a lot quicker than I expected for a regular polish! They used a quick dry top coat and a fan to help speed up the drying process - I've been to locations previously that left me with slightly wet nails. The regular polish also almost feels like gel! Overall, I love the look of the nails - there are a few tiny imperfections like a bit of unevenness in my thumb nail shapes, and the painting on a few fingers, but that's just me being nitpicky and there's nothing too noticeable! The reason I gave 4 stars is because I paid for the deluxe manicure, with comes with a 5 minute hot oil massage. I got the massage in the beginning of the service, and it felt a little quick. For an extra $10, it didn't feel worth it. The massage did feel great though! Overall, I'd recommend this if you're looking for an affordable, quality nail spot! read more

I want to start by saying that I really don't like to leave negative reviews for businesses but this really left me feeling uncomfortable. I sent my girlfriend into this nail salon because the reviews were good. And even though the seats were comfy, she came back really uncomfortable with the service there. She arrived and needed her gel polish removed, and asked to replace the polish with regular and not gel. They did a good job removing the gel and cleaning the cuticles. But kept asking her if she wanted gel polish after she repeatedly answered that she did not, almost like pushing an up sell. She was polite and continued to answer. After she left she told me that she was never offered any water when other customers were. It's clear that there is no top coat on her nails, and she had asked upon leaving if they could apply a top coat and the lady who had done her nails replied that it had been put on but it's obvious that it's not, so I applied it when she got back home. There is a harsh smell to her nails that is still there after a bath and multiple hand washes. And because there was no top coat applied, there is already a chip on one of the nails after a few hours, and she was being meticulous with them. I feel bad for her and I'm also disappointed that I sent her to this spa. The look of the nails isn't great, and to top it off she just said she felt overall icky after being there. Note -- the lady that did her toenails did a decent job but the lady who did her fingernails was the person who is the main source of complaint. I wish she got gotten names. I will not recommend this place nor send her there again. read more

Beautiful craftsmanship, efficient service, and nice staff. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the dip powder ombre manicure and regular pedicure. Cat shaped my very square nails into a much more elongated look and matched the color of the ombre to a reference photo I shared. She also suggested to have an add on nail to my pinkies because they were shorter, making them look uniform with my other nails. Meanwhile my pedicure was done quickly and beautifully. The place is lovely and the manicure itself was ok but I showed a picture of beautiful light, pink chrome manicure and left with disco ball, glitter silver nails. I'll probably give them another shot, but I'm incredibly embarrassed with what I'm left walking around with over the next few weeks. I did try to express that the colors didn't match in any way after the first nail was painted and both the technician and the man at the front desk told me that it was the exact same as the picture I'll leave pictures below so you can see what I'm talking about. read more

Love the establishment, very chill vibes but also it was a very nice day and the door was open and it just felt good being here. Someone worked on my feet, someone else on my hands. I was lowkey disappointed that my cuticles weren't worked on and when I mentioned it, it was very limited. Also with the basic pedi, no callus work They only take tip in cash and I knew this but still forgot my cash so I had to use the atm to take out cash ($3.50 charge from atm, scared to see what my bank charged). Henry is an absolute gem! Came in with overdue hard gel nails (two of which were broken) and thought I needed to do acrylics to save my soul. I was pretty adamant on doing hard gel because dipped is always way too thick for my liking but Henry assured me that he could do it thin. I was blown away by the result, but more so, impressed by how meticulous and detail-oriented he was. He took his time and made he feel so at ease knowing how focused he was. The way he looked at my nails was the same way an artist would look at a blank canvas. My guy had a vision and he was on a mission! Aside from having such a great nail tech, I really enjoyed the experience at the salon. It was cute, festive, and seemed recently renovated. I'm so used to salons being small and understaffed; where staff are multitasking different duties like during a manicure while answering calls and taking walk-in's (and having to pay more!). I was able to make an appointment the morning of my appointment. I called when they opened. I came in for an gel manicure and regular pedicure. I am particular about where I get my nails done. I like consistency, good service and a place where I can feel relaxed. I've came here only twice but I plan on coming back for my manis and pedis. The owner Andy is so kind. Annie did my gel manicure yesterday and she was great. She was very detailed and thorough in cleaning and applying the polish. My whole service took an hour and half. Personally, I prefer my nail techs to take their time. I see my mani and pedis not as an errand but as a time for me to slow down. Annie took her time in cleaning my cuticles and making sure the polish was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised with the service here. Another thing she did was make sure I was comfortable. I usually don't like getting my nails done while I'm getting my pedicure, again, I'm not trying to rush my mani and pedis. And I find it very uncomfortable when I have to maneuver my hands around during a manicure. When I tried to maneuver my hands towards Annie she told me to not lean over to her and she leaned over to me so that I could lay back in my massage chair. I really appreciated that. It's a smaller shop, 7 chairs for pedis and 3 for manis. Parking is fairly easy. It's in a neighborhood and it's quiet. There's a school across the street so I wonder if parking is bad during after school hours. At the time of my appointment a gel manicure was $40 and the pedi was $35 I believe. I've given this place too many opportunities. Yes it's clean and lovely atmosphere, but they continue to increase prices and put profit over quality. I've witnessed the staff openly mock and make fun of customers, for things as simple as asking to use the restroom. What put me over is that I spent $80 on these horrific nails that was JUST A FILL, and had to go pay somewhere else to fix them the next day as it was noticeably embarrassing (to the point the next salon couldn't believe it). Everything was great except one thing - the pedicure ended up longer than expected and they closed at 7pm so I was kind of rushed out before the nail polish on my toes could have a chance to dry. Crazy that there are so many good reviews! I chose this place based on the high rating. I was looking for my new weekly mani-pedi place, and this is for sure not it. The pedicure was less than mediocre and lasted a whopping 30 minutes. She put some lotion on my feet for 30 seconds, making sure not to even go above my ankles. I could barely feel it, if it was supposed to be a "massage." She also wanted me to hold my legs up outstretched so she could pumice my heels. I'm an old lady; I didn't come here for pilates! I also had an ok manicure, which also lasted only 20 minutes and the lotion "massage" lasted 30 seconds. I thought the pedicurists also had a sour attitude. No one offered me tea or water and I did not feel pampered at all. I could not wait to get out of there. MEH. I will keep looking. read more

This was my go-to salon when I lived in the neighborhood. Very nice people, especially Andy who always greets you with a warm welcome at the front! Kathy/Cathy was my person for dip powder nails. She was efficient, friendly, and did a good job with dip powder. I usually had issues with the top coat peeling after a week or so, but the dip itself would be good for over a month.
