I just moved to the neighborhood and both times I've been here they've done a fantastic job! First time was with 3 other family members and 2nd time was solo. Very professional and efficient. I'm normally a stickler about putting polish on the sides, nail shape, and number of coats and I didn't have to say anything! $88 for gel mani & gel pedi + tip, not too shabby. I tried scheduling an appointment at 4:30 and they asked if I can come earlier maybe 4 I let them know 4:30 would work best for me but that I'd try to make it earlier. There was traffic and they cancelled my appointment, I walked it and it was empty there was two workers sitting on the massage chairs. They said they had an appointment at 5 and didn't seem interested in taking us in. Luckily Sassy nails was near by and we went in to see if they had availability and they eagerly took us in. I had a return visit a month after my initial visit. I booked a combo manicure/pedicure for $50, french manicure for both is $7 ea ($14), relaxing 10 minutes massage (was not relaxing, but painful) $15 and Gel polish on hands only, $18. I was charged $110 and asked for the price breakdown which doesn't match the website prices. For this reason, I don't anticipate continuing my visits. I would far rather drop a hundred dollars on a massage than on nail care and there were no fake nails in the mix. read more

I'm very picky when it comes to nails. I like very detailed cuticle work and like that the nail polish is perfectly applied, reaching all the edges. I keep trying nail salons to find one I like. I had found a place a few years ago (different neighborhood) and I would book appointments with the same person (Julie). She was amazing! One day I was told she was no longer working there and I was literally heart broken. I moved to Noe a year ago and have been trying all the nail salons around. I randomly called Aroma one day to book an appointment and when I walked in I found Julie!!! I could not believe I had found her again!!!! Her work is amazing!!! 100% recommended! On top of her great ability, the place is very clean, spacious and super comfortable. I have only been there once and I have not tried any of the other staff, but I will be a regular now. read more

I saw this nail salon while on a walk and scheduled an appointment, not knowing they just opened two weeks ago. When I arrived for my appointment the ladies were so sweet and personable. The salon is super clean and cozy, they even gave me a heat back for my back! I loved the layout of the salon in that it is several comfortable reclining chairs and they bring the tub over separately if you are getting a pedicure. My daughter and I had been coming here for nearly 1.5 years. My daughter would not return for she was very unhappy with the quality of their work as well as the materials they use. I on the other hand, the creature of habit continued going to Aroma nails. But today's visit sealed the deal of ditching this place for good. I tell you why: Last two times I have gone there they totally trimmed my nails so poorly that four of them broke within 24 hrs and the gels pealed off of several of my nails. I had stopped going to them for my nails but I made a mistake of going there for a full face waxing today. I had an appointment @10:30 the owner whom does the waxing walked in the door at 10:48. Then the the private room I told her about my last visits and why I would not do my nails there again. NOT ONLY SHE DIDNOT OFFER TO REDO THE WORK, she didn't even say "sorry". Afterward I went to pay and left. Since I thought the fee was inflated so I looked on their website and noticed she over charged me. So I called her and she was caught off guard when I called her out on over charging me. She said that is because I also wanted my nose waxed. I told her my nose is a part of my face and what does she mean by that. Needless to say their work and quality of their polish and respecting clients time and as well as their honesty is big ZERO. if you like your nails and would like the gel to last more than 24 hrs and not be cheated AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

Updating a previous 5 star review. I had a not so stellar experience today with aroma... I had called days in advance to schedule an appointment. When I got in they had a full house. A woman had walked in right before me and they took her, rightfully so, as I was 10 minutes early for my appointment. However, they were finishing up on other clients and took me 10 minutes late. While they were doing my pedicure, two more people walked in for appointments. They had clearly over scheduled and instead of having those customers wait they expressed through my service. My appointment was at 1:15, they took me at 1:25, and they were done at 1:45. I also needed one nail to be fixed with a gel x extension, which they said they would do after my pedicure but because they needed to take the next client they didn't do it. And the woman they had taken before me was still getting her service done after me (which was a regular pedicure. Not sure why mine was the one that was rushed through. Not a great way to experience your self-care time. I had to take off my nails myself at home because of the broken nail that they didn't fix. They should space out appointments so you can get all your services done in a timely manner instead of over packing the schedule. read more

They always make sure my nails are completely dry before I leave (even while my husband is outside the door saying we need to get going), which means the polish actually lasts!
