I should have known this experience was going downhill when I asked for a simple gold line and somehow that became a problem. The technician was rude from the beginning. Several times I said, "Ouch," because what he was doing HURT. Instead of checking on me or adjusting what he was doing, he repeatedly told me, "You're okay." No sir, I was not okay. I was the one sitting in the chair. When I said I didn't like the gray line that was done, he got irritated and walked away. Another employee, who I believe was the owner, came over and told me he doesn't know how to do designs. Respectfully, I wasn't asking for the Sistine Chapel to be painted on my nails. I asked for a gold line. Now two of my gel nails have already popped off. I'm right-hand dominant, yet the nails that failed were on my left hand. I've had gel nails for years and that is not normal. Between the poor workmanship, dismissive attitude, painful service, and lack of professionalism, I will not be returning. If a customer repeatedly says "ouch," maybe listen to the customer instead of telling them how they feel. read more

Unfortunately this is my 3rd review. I started with a 5 star review and I keep giving them less and less. I was coming here consistently for almost 2 years and the service has declined for me. I do not plan on returning to this nail salon. Let me start by saying that I am a very detailed person but I am always polite and kind. I also tip accordingly to the service I receive. But my last few visits were unsatisfactory with various nail techs. I used to ask for Lin because he was kind and did a great job. Over time, I got the feeling he did not like me. I could feel his annoyance with me and lack of service. He wasn't as kind and did not check in with me and would be short and almost annoyed in his responses when I would clarify things about how I wanted my nails done or to let him know that I had a few acrylics on my nails. I did not feel comfortable so I stopped asking for him. I would get my nails done with other nail techs. Some were very kind but my last visit, she hurt me multiples times (4-5) when they were filing my nails but I would get no response or acknowledgment. I would take my hand away but there was no sorry, no efforts to make sure I was comfortable. She would just look away and start again. She hurt me so often I had to tell her after the 3rd or 4th time "Please me careful. You're hurting me". I had to ask her multiple times to fix the nail shape and she still wasn't doing it right so I stopped asking because it felt like her did not care at all. This was a few weeks ago. I am so unhappy with my visit. I decided to book the 40$ weekday mani pedi, due to past experiences I made sure the first thing I mentioned was to not cut far past my nail bed because it is so incredibly painful when any of my nails are cut too far back. After saying that, The first thing that was done was exactly what i asked not to do. She took the biggest chunk of nail off my toe which immediately got irritated and sensitive. Although she apologized i am now having to deal with a toe nail bed that is exposed right before a trip to the beach. The overall experience seemed sloppy and rushed. The heels of my feet were left splotchy, cuticles were cleaned up ok. Overall, I feel like the work has gotten sloppy and on auto pilot. I do not understand how nail techs can go straight into taking away huge amounts of nail with no care or precision. Very disappointed. read more

This is my second time going to this salon and I have had two great experiences! Both times I have received an acrylic fill and I have felt that their acrylic application is very detailed and they honestly improved the shape that I had before (from a different salon). Today I asked for a design and while my nail tech seems a little nervous, she did an amazing job and made an effort to make sure I was happy with her work. All the staff I have encountered have been super kind and are generous with their time taking care of your service. The salon itself is quiet and peaceful and does not have super harsh lighting inside that makes you feel overstimulated. I think their acrylic fill pricing is fantastic for time and effort I received. My nails took a hour and 45 mins and I was charged $85 for fill, cat-eye, and designs on each nail. They were quick to accommodate my walk in dip nails and my friend's pedicure. After looking at my nails, there is significant natural nail still showing which is disappointing. The square shape is perfect though. My friend's pedicure is pretty uneven for nail length. Water for the pedicure was lukewarm and had fruit slices in it which was odd. Do not come to this place unless you want something basic. I got a mani/pedi. The pedi was ok. I gave the lady a twenty because she was polite and got the job done. The lady with the glasses who did my manicure however was not worth the tip. She kept rolling her eyes whenever I asked if she could fix the shape because the shape of the nails was uneven. I got gel x and it turned out awful. Just look at how the gel looks underneath my nails. And that's how it looks on both hands. I was still going to tip her anyway because yeah she offered a service but when I asked for change, the lady at the front opened her cash register for 5 seconds and closed it back up saying she didn't have any change. I found Mary and her crew during pandemic and she was so accommodating & as soon as we were able to go in Mary immediately called me and said she was open for customers and of course with safety measures! We had to check temps and wear masks! I immediately felt comfortable! I've had almost all of the technicians and I have to say they are all wonderful! You should know I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and with this knowledge they are very gentle with me! My go to for mani are Hana and Betty! My Pedi are done amazing by all but lately it's been Linda and Lin! I can't remember all their names but trust me they are all AMAZING! Sometimes Mary jumps in and helps if needed! Ok, I used to love this place because it's close to me, they were more reasonably priced than all other nail places nowadays, have an atm machine inside in case you want cash, and were super easy to schedule with. They were not the best manicure or pedicure I could get but I felt like they were a decent go to. Over the last year, I noticed things were starting to decline all around and I was not as excited about them anymore. I'm usually pretty patient but the last 2-3 times I went in, I had to wait close to an hour to be seen even though I always make an appointment. Not just that, but I also felt like I was inconveniencing them and they were trying to squeeze me in. It became pretty obvious they were over or double booking and taking too many walk ins that people with appointments were being screwed. I decided to no longer come here because the quality also decreased and the paint jobs feels rushed. It's a bummer because I did like their weekday discounts but I just don't think it's worth it anymore. read more

I only came here because my normal spot was closed for vacation but I will NEVER step foot back in here again. Reasons below. 1.) took 3 HOURS for a gel mani and regular pedi 2.) told me they 100% could do a design then could not do the design and did not have the tools/supplies to. This would not have bothered me if they did not reassure me they COULD do it. 3.) my gel nails chipped after only 2 DAYS! I've never had gel nails chip sooo quickly! 4.) I had one tip put on a nail and it broke off 3 days after. Thinking back on it I cannot believe how horrible their service is. If you look at others they mention how their polish also has chipped. OK, let's start off by first saying I walked in me and a friend asked for a pedicure. A lady came in right behind us and she served her before we even got our feet into the water, they are very standoffish even with us being really nice and polite. Also act as if they do not understand what we're asking for. We still waited very patiently and the main lady might be manager or owner she had to come by and fix everything but I am still leaving the shop with streaks in my nail polish on my feet and still hard callous on my heels not great and I probably will never go here again or recommend anyone read more

I've been coming here for two years, they still don't know my name or recognize me haha! It has always been great, relaxing, beautiful paint jobs up until the last two times. I'm not sure what it is but the last two visits have been horrible. A month ago I came for a pedi. They CUT ME UP, and left me with literally almost no toenails. The owner(? Or manager) apologized many times and gave me a discount. Cool. Today I came in for a mani and it was very messy. I am left with polish in my fingernail cracks and on my fingers. I came here for a dip manicure with a design and a gel pedicure and had a very mixed experience! The massage chairs are so comfortable! Really made the experience so pleasant. I would give 5 stars for the pedicure alone! The woman helping me was an older Vietnamese woman with a red bob haircut. She was super meticulous and did an amazing job! It took ~1 hour. The dip manicure on the other hand was disappointing. I think the shop owner did my manicure and she was super distracted given that she was greeting/directing new customers coming in and dealing with collecting payments from everyone. To start, she didn't trim my cuticles. The paint job is pretty sloppy (messy edges), there was fuzz trapped in the paint, and there are some rough patches that were filed down before finishing the manicure and are so rough they feel like a nail file! I'd give this place another shot for a plain gel manicure given that the pedicure was so great! read more

They place flowers in it and the water smells good. There was a gentleman there, and he did a great job. He was very nice and gentle, super easy to work with. My toes still look great! My nails though - I did get a "simple" design and showed them a picture on pinterest but the style came out different lol by a lot. We did add some glitter and that ended up being another $5 though. Tried out this salon from a friend's recommendation and was very pleased with the outcome! This place is a perfect if you're looking for a no frills, yet solid manicure place. It's pretty busy right after work on a weekday, but they have a good number of nail technicians and were able to take care of 6 ladies at once. Li did my manicure while Mary did the designs later. I showed Mary a photo of what I wanted and she was able to recreate it after I gave my opinion on the colors and specifics.
