First timer & I ordered halo halo, lumpia & 2 chicken adobo. It was all not very pleasant. Lumpia was hard & not that much meat. Halo Halo was more milk than the pieces inside. Chicken adobo was not good in my opinion. Place was packed for lunch. Ordering online was easy.

Always good food. Always Made fresh. One of my favorite Filipino spots in the IE. Staff is always friendly! Always welcoming . Fresh lumpia is honestly my go to all the time . Sago gulaman is a must !! Space is always clean and plenty of seating indoor and out.

My friend and I waited in line for some time before an elder lady acknowledged us. We see she was fiddling around with the register and the other one other employee was also behind the counter refilling the jello . So much for running in and out quickly. They really need to work on their customer awareness . No waitstaff order food at the counter, indoor and outdoor seating options. My first time trying Pancit Malabon , it's the dryer cousin of Pancit Palabok, pancit palabok has more gravy and a scent of seafood. Portions were reasonable for the price ( $7.95) with 3 slivers of half sliced shrimps and shredded eggs. The flavors weren't bad, I don't mind it .

We were craving for some home comfort food of the Philippines. Not to fancy but hits the spot and satisfying our urges.

I enjoyed some of this bibingka while it was still fresh and warm and brought the rest with me to a friend in Virginia. Yes, it traveled with me in my carry-on. He was so excited when he received it since there are not many Filipino food spots in his area. I really enjoyed my meal that day, especially since I was very hungry. The only downside was that they were a bit slow that day and I waited about 30 minutes for my order. It was not a big issue though since there were seats available and I was able to sit and wait comfortably.

Wonderful service by the staff. Usually call in to place an order over the phone for catering but once in a while we stop in and have a bite. Sometimes it can get packed in here so you may have a longer wait time. Food is hot and served in 'to go' containers if you plan on taking the rest home just ask for a lid or foil. Self serve Water station. Single restroom available. Waiting area in front. Tap to pay, patio seating, Parking right in front.

One of my all-time favorite Filipino spots in the U.S. Kudos to the guy at the front earlier, i wish we had gotten his name but he was very personable. Talk about service with a smile, like you are happy to be there. The lady who took my order the second time around, when i ordered a to-go and a dessert was also nice and she was the one who asked me if i wanted garlic rice because i didn't know that was an option. I wanted the Monggo too but was sold out... til next time. The Grilled Chicken Skewers was delicious, not salty at all . The Lumpia Shanghai was very crunchy and fresh, it was sooo good. You can't go wrong with any of the items here. They are all good portions and amazing. If you want a good dessert, try their Bibingka!

Updated review Jan 23 2024 Manila Sunset in Rancho Cucamonga has consistently been my go-to for delicious Filipino food. Craved their Pancit Malabon, so I opted for the large tray at $57.38 (including tax) instead of a small portion. Added some Bibingka at $5.95 each, ordered 6, and I'm delighted to have leftovers for tomorrow! Planning to try their Crispy Pata, lumpia Shanghai, and fresh lumpia on my next visit. The service is usually great, especially with Christy! While they have seating inside and an outdoor patio, I typically order to go. The restaurant is well-maintained, and parking is convenient in the strip mall next to 24 Fitness center and other businesses. Definitely recommend! This was my first time trying this type of food and it was amazing. The lady at the service counter was very friendly, you are greeted as soon as you walk in. The ambiance is calm, a lot of take out. Today we have the lumpia, chicken adobo with rice and pork Skewers. The chicken adobo was very rich and flavorful. Will definitely be coming back.

    New Baby Babinka! The best!

Where do I even start. I picked up a big holiday order on Christmas and the 2 gentleman that were picking the orders were fast and attentive. They apologized for the wait and got to my order in a timely manner. With the line being out the door they were fast and efficient. Food was delicious, service was great! Manilla Sunset is always the best!

Best Tapsilog reminds me of the best tapsilog in Manila when I was young. Couldn't find anything as good until this one.

Food was okay. Waited a long time for the food. Seems like online or phone orders are a priority.

Unforgettable Filipino kakanin -- worth the wait!…read more We recently placed a pre-order from Anna's Kitchen in Rancho Cucamonga, and I just have to say -- WOW. Every bite was worth it. The cassava with macapuno was the true standout. It's the kind of kakanin that stays with you -- the flavor lingers long after you've finished your slice. It has thick layers of macapuno, and the topping reminded me of yema -- sweet, creamy, and just addictive. It's easily one of the best cassava cakes I've ever had. Her leche flan was just as impressive. So smooth, silky, and melt-in-your-mouth good. As someone who also cooks, I can tell this was made with so much care -- probably strained multiple times to get that perfect texture. It's the kind of leche flan that doesn't even need a special occasion to enjoy -- it is the occasion. Anna's Kitchen is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic, thoughtfully made Filipino desserts. Just be prepared to pre-order -- they're made fresh, and absolutely worth the wait.

Lol updated 2026 review and I absolutely agree w everything I said!…read more Growing up eating Filipino food, I get cravings every so often. I usually make what I want at home but to be able to have 2-3 of your favorite Filipino dishes, well then, you'd have to be at a party. But if one is craving some from the islands than you need to find the nearest Seafood City and get yourself to a Grill city. Is it the best? Nah. Is it pricey? Yahh. Is it good? Sometimes. Does it fill your cravings? ABSOLUETLY! Every Filipino Lola's/Lolo's (grandmother/Grandfather) makes each dish different. It will not be one of those omg reminds me of home moments (unless you live in the Midwest with a bunch of non-Asian descendants and only eat hamburgers and pizza for years) but rather, it satisfies the cravings. Have you heard of well, if you see the same ethnicities eating that food then you know its authentic, I believe that! Its authentic so if you in the area and want to try Filipino Food then come here, I would suggest a 2 Item combo, comes with rice; something grilled, something stewed add noodles or a dessert like Halo Halo Suggestions; Work on the customer service (Super Lacking), Rice is cheap so give more, Possibly par cook the BBQ and cook to order so it will be hot, ensure the chafing dishes are at the right temperature (HOT) check them hourly.

Granted their grill city here isn't as big as other places... it does have all the fixins that you might want or need. All the basics. Yes, the line might be long during peak times but it is what it is. I appreciate the staff for hanging in there and offering their best. Shout out to the young ladies earlier. One even said, try the smelt first ... it's not as crispy... i did and because of that I didn't order it and went with another. Ambiance wise, it's just like any other place ... it has a number of chairs and tables that does get full. Food wise.... you can get your usual grill items like pork, fish, chicken... Noticeably though... the skewers seemed smaller compared to before... . And yes.... if it's an hour or two before closing... they stop cooking / using the grill .... They did put up new combo prices and have now offered 1/2 and 1/2 ... rice / pansit. Granted the pancit was just okay... it's not bad. tbh... the viands are okay... your grandma's cooking is for sure better.... I mainly go here for the grilled items and at times the deep fried ones. Crispy pata/ lechon kawali.... And of course everyone loved the halo halo. The quintessential Filipino ice dessert. *skip the turon ... it was uberly dry. ** download the sfc app. It's like a rewards app that turns to usd that you can use here and other seafood city. *** best to order and pick up items rather than having them delivered.
