no outdoor sitting!!!! they do have a patio but they did not set it up like how they have it on the pictures. Called ahead of time to ask if they have pork sisig and the guy that answered the phone says "whats sisig? we don't have?" so instead we ordered something else.. then when i got there to get our food.... right front center on their menu... sisig!!!! Owners are rude! Came all the way out here which was a far drive and had to use the restroom (pregnant)...and under NO circumstance would they let me use their restroom. She also got my order wrong and we had to wait longer... and she blamed us the customer for getting the order wrong. Just rude, had to go next door, because they said no to using their restroom and told me to go to the Mexican food restaurant on the end who thankfully let me use the restroom. I also let them know I'm high risk pregnancy and can't hold my bladder as it makes me go into preterm labor. Food was subpar. Nothing to really rant and rave about. The closest comfort food place next to Manila to get my fix. I've been going in this place for years and the food is always very good and satisfying. This place is one of my go to Filipino Restaurants when I'm in the Ontario-Rancho area. They have all day breakfast that comes with egg, soup and rice (~$10) and they also have an a la carte menu, but it doesn't come with rice. The service is good and the place is always clean! The food reminds me of home back in the Philippines and I also love how they place the breakfast items on banana leaves. They keep the condiments (soy sauce, vinegar, lemon and utensils on the very side of the restaurant next to the counter where you pick up the food. Pricing is good! Majority of the food dishes are under $10. Proportions are good for 1-2 people per dish. read more

Food is great. It can get busy at times and sometimes you feel like the staff is snarky. Still, they get things done at a pace quickly enough to attend to other customers. I hope there is better seating and lighting inside. The food is really great but the service and interior can do better. read more

Manila Sunset is an example for other chains and privately owned franchises to look up to. The food is consistently tasty and the service reliably fantastic at just about any location, but the residents of Rancho Cucamonga have it exceptionally well. Items I constantly find myself coming back to are the vegetable lumpia, pusit, pork adobo, and the wonderfully springy and subtly sweet bibingka. This location does a lot of phone orders and on event days and holidays you'll likely see customers hauling away trays of freshly made pinoy food. If you ever go in and get less than courteous customer service, play the lotto, because it's a rare day indeed. read more

My family and I usually go to their West Covina branch but since I was craving filipino food, this location was closer. I got their crispy pork sisig ($9.95) and 2 bbq chicken skewer for $1.85 each. There was no rice with the sisig so I bought a side of garlic rice ($2.50). They had bits of chopped bell pepper, green onions, and liver in the sisig which is standard in sisig but I'm not a fan of the texture so I didn't finish the liver parts. The sisig plate was a good size for the price; their bbq chicken and garlic rice tasted great as well. Next to Popeyes. $10 min to use card. They have 5star rewards. They're also known for their catering; their palabok and bbq skewers are great. They have a good amount of seating and the staff is nice. read more

This is my regular spot for my local Filipino food fix says this Filipina!:) Recommendations: Lechon Kawali (crispy Bork belly) over garlic rice, or Pork Inihaw (marinated grilled pork) over garlic rice, or the Linganisa (Filipino sausage) + egg over garlic rice. I do not recommend Kare Kare - it's water down and bland. I can hardly taste the peanut butter, if they put any. Less veggies too, only sitaw and a few stalks of bokchoy, no eggplant. Not worth your $16 for this bland, small serving. Good luck trying their other dishes but this is definitely not their specialty. I don't mind driving to West Covina for a better Filipino food. read more

I ordered a tray of lechon kawali and two other things for my work. I placed the order the week prior and was scheduled for 1145, it wasn't ready until 10 mins after that which isn't a huge deal. I had to rush and leave for work and didn't check the food until I was on the freeway. The lechon was just over cooked, hard and dry every single piece. I think if they had taken it out 10 mins earlier it would've been perfectly fine. If I didn't care about wasting food I wouldn't have served it to my coworkers. Felt bad and embarrassed bringing something I wouldn't accept myself. So pls check your orders before leaving don't make my mistake. read more

All of the food we got was 10/10. I'm a visitor here and came two days ago and ordered the Pancit Malabon, Crispy Pata, and BBQ Skewer. My parents came to visit 2 days later and I had to introduce them to this place. We ordered the beekfsteak, Kare Kare, crispy pata, sinigang, and bbq skewers and all of it was amazing. They were happy to give us extra condiments like patis, vinegar, mang tomas, etc. The service and management was also extremely welcoming and kind. I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back for Filipino food. We even got Pancit, fresh lumpia, and Goto to go for a snack later. Mom and I had the Summer Corn Soup. It was pure comfort in a bowl. Creamy, rich, and packed with sweet wood-grilled corn flavor, with bacon and chives adding just the right amount of savory balance. Robin tried the Garden Tomato Soup. Velvety and full of fresh tomato flavor, topped with parmesan croutons and micro basil. Rich, satisfying, and highly craveable. For my entrée, I ordered the Wood-Grilled Kona Crusted Lamb Loin. The lamb was exceptionally tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The Kona coffee crust adds a distinctive depth of flavor that I absolutely love, especially paired with the herb butter and Yukon mashed potatoes. I substituted green beans for the asparagus, which made for a great combination. My wife isn't a fan of the coffee crust, but then again she insists coffee tastes like ashes, so take that for what it's worth. Robin had the Rotisserie Half Chicken, which was another winner. The grilled lemon-honey glaze added a touch of sweetness and brightness to the perfectly cooked chicken, while the French green beans, tomatoes, and wild rice pilaf rounded out the plate beautifully. Incredibly juicy and flavorful. Mom enjoyed the Wild Alaska Salmon. It showcased the season perfectly. Served over white rice and topped with a charred tomato broth, it was accompanied by a colorful summer succotash featuring corn, green beans, red peppers, edamame, and toybox tomatoes. Fresh, filling, and packed with flavor. A standout side was the Street Corn Skillet. Sweet roasted corn, wood-grilled red and poblano peppers, chili-lime butter, cotija cheese, and chives combined for a dish that was hard to stop eating. The smoky peppers elevated the sweetness of the corn and tied everything together. Unfortunately, we had no room left for Seasons 52's famous mini desserts, a rare occurrence. Outstanding service, beautifully prepared seasonal dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere made for another memorable dining experience. If you haven't visited lately, the summer menu is definitely worth checking out.
