Good food, but nothing else!!! Went there for my husband's birthday dinner. I made reservations through Open Table for 6:30pm. We were told when we arrived that we could wait for an available table or sit outside. Whattt??? Since we were offered a spot by the small outdoor fireplace we chose outside. We waited for 1/2 hour for our waitress, Sam, to take our order. In the meantime, a young man asked us if we would like the propane heater behind me lit up. We said yes, please, since it was getting quite chilly! He changed the propane tank, played with it for a bit, then disappeared. Nothing else was ever said about the propane heater. Our appetizer arrived at 7:15...45 minutes after our arrival. Dinner was another 20 minutes later. About 10 minutes after we received our meal, Sam asked us how we liked out food. We said it was great and asked for a 2nd round of drinks, which never came. When we asked for our check, so cold at this point, she said, "Oh my gosh, I forgot your drinks!" We , of course told her to "never mind" and just bring the check. Not exactly the $165.00 experience we came for. We won't be back! read more

Excellent food, service and ambience. We got there around 4pm on a Saturday and the place was packed with locals. We were able to sit at a high table in the bar area pretty quickly without a reservation. We got lucky. I highly recommend making a reservation. We ordered venison (deer) chops. They were seasoned to perfection! $58 but well worth it. This restaurant is a steakhouse and they have it together! We will definitely return and i highly recommend it! read more

That was really gracious of them. We were greeted, ordered food. etc. So the food. Down right delicious! My friend had the short ribs. I was having food envy. It was so good! Meh-nkas would be more appropriate. Positives it is clean and nice decor and OK layout. Cons - way over priced, mediocre food for the price everything was a la carte. The lower dining room has poor acoustics and you can't hear yourself think. Service was rushed and we were told there was a bigger party behind us. Chicken dishes were dry and no attempt to offer pepper or Parmesan or anything with dishes like chicken Alfredo. It was an absolutely boring dish. Had lunch here for my birthday. Started with the Heirloom tomato bruschetta. The bread was toasted perfectly and the tomatoes mixed with the balsamic vinegar was delicious. Enjoyed the steakhouse burger with an added fried egg, and a side of fries. Perfect char on the patty and that bacon jam was amazing! My girlfriend ordered the chimichurri chicken sandwich. Cafeteria food is how I'd describe the food quality here. I've never left less than a 20% tip for service until now. I heard that there was a change of ownership, so that may explain your confusion for the high ratings. The original owners poured so much love into this business and with the change of hands, came the change in nearly everything else. I came in with my family to celebrate my mom's birthday. The waiter we had never smiled. He was a man who wore his hair in a braided ponytail. Don't get him, he won't offer to refill your waters or check in periodically and act annoyed when we ask for ketchup for the fries. Trust me, you need condiments to spruce up the flavors. We ordered a burger, the steak tacos, and a chicken Caesar. The Caesar was some romaine and thin slices of lightly seasoned chicken, absolutely flavorless and boring. The burger had a nice presentation but that was about it and my tacos were full of fat. Nearly every bite was a giant fat bomb and totally turned me off. We said no to the dessert because we lost our appetites. I grew up hearing rave reviews about this restaurant, as a local. It's sad that I won't be returning. read more

We were coming for dinner but the Pork Belly Nachos was very filling its delicious and Definitely for two people. For dessert we had the New York cheesecake which also was good. I wanted to give a shout out to Alicia she works behind your bar! She definitely is a keeper she was up beat and had a great positive attitude! Next time we visit the bar area is definitely the spot to be. Alicia made a difference in our dining experience. Please let her know she is a valued employee. That American wagyu tomahawk is seasoned and seared to perfection! Better than some steakhouses in Napa that cost more! Quite out of the way but must try this Cozy restaurant with tower heaters for outside seating. Busy busy Friday night... and we still got a table. We were greeted with a welcoming smile and our server, Adriana, always had that smile too. For starters we had raw oysters, Caprese salad, garlic truffle fries and Sangria. Main entrée Hubby ordered the special for the day, Salmon. I ordered filet mignon (of course, medium rare). For dessert we had Creme Brûlée. Everything was good! Yummy! Once in our car I checked our bill and was surprised to see that our dessert was a compliment for our wedding anniversary. So sweet but felt bad for not thanking them for that. My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite before picking up our kiddos from school. It's very clean inside. The service was friendly. With that said we never got water refilled and it took a very long time to receive our salad...: so long we had to ask it to go. The waiter did apologize for the salad taking so long: They did seem more interested in serving the people ordering wine. We shared a pork belly nacho that had beer cheese. They were super good. The pork was dry ... really dry but I'd order again because the cheese was delicious and the amount they give is perfect. also the steak salad was fantastic . Great place! One of the better meals of late. Nice craft beers and of course local wines for a start. I had the Washington oysters to start that were nice and plump served with an interesting vinegar/onion/something and lemon; really good. Entrees were pork chops with mixed vegetables and whipped potatoes with a light brown gravy that was outstanding. The pork chop was served hot which was perfect. Risotto with mushroom was rich an plentiful with mushrooms. I think the pork chop was better. Great atmosphere and bar too and outside dining with heaters. I have eaten one other time when we still had to sit outside. It was warm and quiet and the food was good. We went last night, booking online. We were seated right away, but our waiter was so busy it took quite a while to get a drink. That would have been okay if you like really loud restaurants. Wowsters, was it loud! The young children sitting next to us were the quietest people in the restaurant, so kudos to their parents. We share a Caprese Salad which was "fine", but nothing exciting and not my favorite kind of Buratta Cheese, but the tomatoes were fresh. Reed and I shared a Rib Eye 14 ounce steak, which is rare for me, as I seldom order red meat at a restaurant. I wish I had ordered something else. We asked for it to be medium-well done, as I like mine well-done and Reed likes his a little more rare. It arrived looking quite red in the middle. I do like the color red but in the piece of meat that I am going to devour. I took a small cut from the end that looked the most "done". Well, it was done alright, very underdone and bright red in the middle. Even Reed did not enjoy how raw it was. I will say our server was great! Very personable and when I said it was really underdone, he cut the price in half. I thought that was lovely but would rather have enjoyed my meal than pay less for it. Trust me, I will not be ordering steak in this steak house again. The Chicken or Paella would have more my style. The good part is, everyone seemed to be having a great time. My girlfriend and I had been wine tasting at backroads wine and were starving after. We stopped at Mankas Grill on a sunday and they were able to seat the two of us relatively quick. We started with amazing local wine then had charcuterie board which was thoughtfully put together. We ordered ribeye and the beef short ribs with the brussel sprouts on the side. It looked so good that we forgot to take a picture. It taste just as good as it looked. Ryan, our waiter, was kind and patient with us when we werent sure what to order. What a great discovery! Stopped by for the first time on a perfect weather Saturday for lunch around 11:30, after visiting the nearby produce market. Pros: The food was absolutely delicious. My wife had the steak salad and she loved every bite. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare and came in a generous portion. We also started with the shrimp cocktail and it was 8 pieces of very large succulent shrimp and a tasty cocktail sauce. My chimmichuri chicken sandwich was great with well seasoned chicken, fresh bun and perfectly crispy fries. The service was very good, we were seated promptly and the waitress was friendly but not overbearing. The outdoor patio was so cute and comfortable. Very relaxing. Value is also good; not inexpensive, but reasonably priced and well worth it for the quality of the food and the entire experience. Cons- None!!!! Verdict: Highly recommended!!
