I came here for lunch with a girlfriend on a Saturday before wine tasting at Caymus-Suisun. All of the staff were friendly! The hostess let me wait at the bar until my friend arrived. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside on the patio. It was hard to choose from the options on the menu in addition to the Daily/Lunch Specials. We started with the Spinach Artichoke Dip and the Buffalo Chicken Wings. I ordered the Game Burger, which was one of the specials. It was a blend of Wagyu Beef, Bison, Venison, and another meat I cannot remember. It was perfectly medium-cooked and juicy! My friend got the Prime Rib Sandwich off of the Lunch Specials Menu. I just left this Fabulous restaurant - the last 6 or so times were amazing, but terrible waiter this time! He Never came back to refill our water or ask about drinks.... We ordered apps and they came seconds after our main course and the salad never arrived. I asked him for a steak recommendation since I have ordered the salmon (good, but mild in flavors) the last few times. He said I should get the cod and I said I was really wanting BEEF but if the fish is "that good" and had "super strong flavors" I could be down. He said it had amazing flavor. Yikes, It was old fishy smelling and old fishy tasting- no strong flavors, in fact, so bland that it was inedible. This is my first time ever sending something back. I felt just god-awful. What I ordered in its place was fine but just felt so embarrassed, let down & judged. 1pm table time on a Thursday w/ very few customers... everyone else had a great meal, but zero table service. Went here with my family for my birthday and it was a fantastic experience. To start, the area is really beautiful! We were sat right away despite being busy, the food came out at a decent time and everything was delicious! My favorite is the grilled artichokes and their steaks are good as well. Went this weekend for lunch between wineries. This restaurant would never be a destination restaurant for me. For $20. I was served two tacos and a side of chips & salsa. We came for a birthday dinner reservation. As soon as we were seated the ambiance was so loud. We were a table for 2 and we couldn't even hear each other through our conversation. The service was mediocre. The server took our drink order and then didn't check back with us but proceeded taking the orders of 2 tables that arrived after us. When he took our order he was about to announce the special and then retracts it. Sorry! No special tonight! Not the service we expected. We just proceeded to order from the menu and we got our soup and salad. Then the entree arrived. We never saw him again. A different server checked on us once we finished our meal and he was much more personable. We would rate the food 3/5 star. It's over priced for the food and service they provided. We came here to try it out and we should have stuck to our regular restaurant in Walnut Creek. Disappointing experience. No comparison. Also only street parking. Went here on a Saturday after we went to Caymus Winery. Parking here is limited as it's a busy area with other restaurants around. We are a party of 8 without a reservation but they were accommodating and we were seating fairly fast. We were seated outside with outdoor heater. We ordered some appetizers the *Pork Belly Nachos $16 was dry would skip this next time, Chicken Wings chipotle bbq $16 was pretty amazing great flavors and crispy. I ordered the *Steakhouse Burger brioche bun with the side of sweet potato fries $22 it was a huge portion flavor was good. *Short Rib Poutine $22 french fries with cheese curd definitely shareable. *Some of my friends ordered cocktails but wasn't very pleased. I don't usually leave reviews, but after two visits I feel this needs to be said. I recently moved to Fairfield and had heard this place described as one of the best in the area. That simply isn't true. The food is not good, especially for the price point. On my most recent visit, the Ora King salmon was severely undercooked and thoughtless. Similarly, the red beat salad felt poorly constructed and careless. Both dishes missed the mark. I left spending $80 for my meal, still hungry, and ended up eating elsewhere shortly after. I should have raised this in the moment, but I was with friends and chose not to make it an issue at the table. There's clearly potential here the ambiance is nice and the staff are kind, but the food needs significant improvement to justify the reputation and pricing. Went there for your lunch date with my husband for an appetizer we had the bruschetta super flavorful hit the right spot very fresh and refreshing on the outdoor patio. There's something about this location that I really like. It was definitely nice and cozy on a chilly Saturday evening. Service was spot on. They had a pretty basic menu, but we found the food to be good overall. There was a group of us so we tried a number of things on the menu. Nothing particularly stood out but we had no complaints. Met up with a friend to have brunch here. The food on the Menu as (time we went) ended up being more of a Lunch Menu but we nevertheless were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in the wait staff were friendly and kind. Our server was very polite and helped us make some exceptional choice for our meal. The environment is modern chic and very beautiful both indoor and outdoors. For an Appetizer we tried to a risotto one and it was phenomenal really light crunchy and flavorful, Definitely a unique but delicious take on this dish. For my meal I order the pesto chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and the portions did not disappoint. It was beautiful presented and you could definitely taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I'm a sucker for a crispy crunch lettuce. To end our already fabulous meal our served recommended the Flourless cakes with ice cream and me and my friend shared this large dessert to the last bite. Sunday Brunch time again and Mankas Grill is up. I've been to this place several times before all owned by different people. The latest iteration is owned by the same people who own Napa Deli so I was excited to give it a go. I was glad I did because everything was excellent! The brunch menu had me at Steak with Chimichurri. My medium rare steak was tender and went well with traditional chimichurri sauce. Also it was nice to see Model Bakery english muffins as a bread choice. I also snuck a bite of the Braised Beef Eggs Benedict and it was so bomb. The beef was tender, packed with flavor and paired nicely with the tang of the hollaindaise sauce. I will have to have a whole order to myself next time I'm here. Compared to previous stylings, I liked this version the best. I feel the medium brown woods and black accents give the place a stylish but comfy vibe. The courtyard was also redone and looks like a cool place to have dinner at night during the hot summers. They have a full service bar so mixed drinks,wine and tap beers are all at the ready. I think this place is one of the nicest places to have dinner in terms of lush surroundings, restaurant ambience and food in Solano county. We will be back for more delicious meals! read more

Service was great. Cocktails were very good. We sat on the patio near a heater and were comfortable. Mixed feelings about the food; $68 prime rib was just okay, nothing special about it. Rigatoni Bolognese was good, but lacking in meat and spice, and served with a small dry slice of baguette. Chicken fettuccine was great, as was the beet salad. Bread pudding was very good and it was a very generous serving, but the sliver of lemon blueberry cheesecake was bland with no noticeable lemon flavor at all and served a few blueberries on a drizzle of strawberry(?) syrup. Delicious meal in a beautiful setting! I went to this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago with my parents on our way to Gastoff's Sculpture Ranch. My parents ordered pizza and soup. I ordered the Po'Boy sandwich. This was the best meal I had while dining out in months! The sandwich had a large generous number of shrimp, and a fresh roll. It was seasoned perfectly without being too spicy. Along with the sandwich, I had sweet potato fries. They were so good! My mom and dad's flatbread pizza was larger than I expected and looked very tasty. Our waiter was helpful with his suggestions and efficient with his prompt delivery of our meals. I suggest dining outside on the patio if the weather is nice. It is cozy and relaxing. One final note, the bathrooms are immaculate, which always impresses me. read more

My ribeye tacos were on the disappointing side as well as the guac that it came with. Meat and guac were bland in flavor. And they unfortunately didn't have oyster left at lunch time. But! My two friends ordered the halibut special and that came out really good. Only thing was too much chili flakes- there was a lot! But easily scraped off and that fish was flavorful. Over all food is pretty good, as always. I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism during my recent visit. The hostess greeted us with a noticeably dry, almost sarcastic tone, which immediately set a negative tone for the evening. The food was very delicious I tried the Chipotle BBQ wings they are definitely a must try definitely a 10/10! Very good in flavor and probably my favorite appetizer!
