I got lucky enough to discover this shop when I got my nails done next door. They have an amazing selection of donuts from the classic maple to reeses filled deliciousness and fun captain crunch donuts. There's something for everyone including bagels. The staff is super friendly and they always give me an extra donut when I order. Every time! I love this spot and will be enjoying my weekly donuts fix here. read more

Been here a few times and the family is always so kind. Today, I decided to write a review since I was able to snag an Ube/Taro donut this time. Don't be fooled by the brown color on the outside. The inside of the donut is purple and tastes like Ube! It's not too bland and not too sweet and I would come back for it. If you want to try it, it was suggested to come in earlier. The location is in the same plaza as the McDonald's and is hidden among other shops (nail shop, convenience/liquor store, Chinese food, boba and Jimboy's tacos). Convenient if you need to grab other goods too. Free parking lot available. I'm a fan of supporting small business, especially those with great customer service. Enjoy :) read more

Tom is the owner of Manley's Donuts. Two years ago, he moved the shop from Cupertino to the Roseville location. Tom chose to leave his career in finance to take over the family business his parents began over 30 years ago. Tom and his family are incredibly warm and welcoming. This was our first time in and they were more than happy to share some anecdotal stories about the history of the business with us and sent us on our way with some complimentary treats. Local review - first time visit. I drive by this place almost every day, so I was excited when I had the time to try! Between my fiancé and I we tried a maple bar, white frosted sprinkle, old fashioned glazed, and ube donut. The ube was phenomenal! Full of flavor but not too sweet. Utterly terrible!! I placed a very simple custom order. I just wanted a simple icing color for a baby shower and I even pulled pictures from their own website and they assured me they could do it. I called to confirm a few days before pick up and when I show up they DID NOT have my order. The lady played dumb and said she was never told, but my order was written down right in front of her. She showed me the order details and it was all correct and her only response was "oh that didn't get done" and they proceeded to pack a random assortment and tried to charge me for them after I kept telling her I did not want them. HORRIBLE STAFF. Very unprofessional!!! read more

I've been coming here for years. They always have fresh doughnuts and friendly service. I've never had a cronut and am about to eat my first one today. If you want a cronut you might want to call ahead because it's a different dough they only make about a dozen. read more

I don't come to Manley's often, as I feel the donuts are too greasy for my taste. I think you can find better at Master donuts, Baker Bens and of course Rocklin Donuts to name a few. However, out of conveneince I decided to stop by this morning as a surprise to the kids before school. I was the only customer the entire visit. As I looked at the donuts, i saw there were some old fashioned with chocolate chips on them. My daughter wanted one of the chocolate bars with chocolate chips on it, so I politely asked if they had the chocolate chips on hand, to which the lady replied yes. I asked if she would be able to add chocolate chips to the chocolate bar, since they were readily available. Her answer was no, I don't want to do that. Ok, so you have the ability to add the chips but you don't want to? Yes, I don't want to do that. And there is no one else in the entire store. She said what else do you want. I said that was it and she said no again. Personally, my dollars mean more now than they have in a long time. With everything increasing in price, it's a concerted effort to choose where to spend those dollars and who to support when I go out. And customer service is as important as it's ever been. Unfortunately, that isn't the case for all and I found the whole experience disappointing. The extra effort it would have taken to add a few chocolate chips, was apparently too much for one individual to accomodate. read more

Best donuts around! Family owned and operated. I've been to quite a few other donut places around the area and nothing even comes close to Manley Donuts. Very welcoming and they always throw in a few donut holes with every purchase. Donuts are light and fluffy, baked fresh daily and they have the best and biggest selection. These donuts are delicious - a definite cut above other donut shops! Not only did I find them to be tastier than most, but they have created a few innovative flavors that I haven't seen anywhere else. Examples of the owner's own creations: a whole line of Ube (purple yam) cake donuts, chocolate chip-filled donuts, a Reese's Peanut Butter cup -filled donut (see picture), and an assortment of Christmas-decorated donuts (snowman donut, etc.). A huge treat all around! They are also a very hard working small business worthy of supporting. Located on the corner of Sunrise Blvd and Cirby Way across the street from Bel Air. Manley Donuts had a very small selection. I am not sure if they had just sold out of everything but it was around noon time. The donuts I tried where both moist and tasty so assuming they have donuts available this is a decent spot. read more

My family and I love this place! They infuse their culture into these dessert breakfast treats! They are always so kind when we come in. Their donuts so so fluffy and yummy and I'm very picky about my donuts. Can't be too sweet, too tough, or doughy. These are prefect. One time when I was leaving they gave me a blueberry cake donut for free with the others I purchased. I don't normally eat cake donuts but this one was soft and had a slight glaze and it was so damn good. They also have UBE which is purple but good and the strawberry cake one tastes like TRIX cereal. read more

On our way out of town early Sunday morning, we dropped in to pic up a treat for the road. WOW. We received much more than we expected! French doughnuts are not available everywhere and are well made in even less places. These were the best I've had in years. We were also given a sample of their Philapino yam yummy doughnut AND a bunch of glazed doughnut holes. Hands down our new favorite! read more

The BEST donuts ever!!! You have to try this place to believe how wonderful their baking is. I don't usually eat donuts and only stopped here because they had crullers in the window. My dad has been asking for crullers for months saying he loved them in his youth. They are the best donut I have ever had (never had one before). Had a craving for donuts the other day and happened to be in Roseville. Googled donut places near me and one was across the street. I got lucky because this place was amazing! The had a huge selection of donuts and some really cool ones! I ordered a dozen and was given a free donut which was awesome! The staff was really friendly and outgoing. I had not been there in several years and it appears it is under newer ownership and family run and they are doing a great job. Used to be nothing special but now it is my favorite donut shop by far! The counter staff lady was pleasant... no, that is an understatement, make that downright "nice" (which is unfortunately rare these days)... as well as fast and efficient... in and out in 1 minute... no lines formed because she was so efficient and I would take 1 of her over two or three of the typical donut shop counterstaff. Price was quite reasonable (unlike some "bad bakers" in the area)... Selection was great... nothing crazy like a chai spiced pumpkin mocha... but enough to satisfy most anyone.. with a couple more non-traditional like the "Ube" so it is not boring. Donuts were very good. Tips: 1. Try the "ube" donuts... they look like chocolate glazed but are purple inside and moist and delicious. 2. If you take the donuts home or to your office and put them in your oven or toaster oven (on foil or parchment paper) for about a minute they come out like they were just made and better than the hot fresh donuts at Krispy Kreme. If I'm being hypercritical a more frequent changing of the oil may be called for... it is by no means a problem, but on occasion there is a very slight tinge of oil taste which may come from whether the particular donut was made at the beginning of the days run or at the end of the days run. Don't let the location fool you... I've tried them all and this is THE place for donuts in Roseville area. read more

He refused, saying he wasn't going to touch the donuts with his hands because he would use tongs. Regardless, basic hygiene and food-handling practices should be taken seriously, especially when serving customers. At that point, I decided not to order anything and left. The entire experience felt unprofessional, unsanitary, and unwelcoming. It's disappointing to see a business operate this way. Management should seriously review customer service expectations and food safety procedures.

The gentleman who is always there seems intoxicated and has no business working in customer service. He says strange things and is extremely forgetful - in fact, the same day I stopped coming here, a man with his family had a confrontation with him. The worker's behavior always very off - not a personality thing, but appears to be a sobriety issue. In the aforementioned man's confrontation, the worker forgot multiple items and wouldn't make it right until the man brought it up, showed his receipt, and made the worker calculate the items which were bought - after the worker gave the man what he was owed, the worker failed to acknowledge their mistake and simply looked at the man with a blank stare. I had a similar issue and called the manager, who wasn't even on site. However, I didn't notice I was missing items until I drove home. The manager wouldn't even say "sorry about that" they simply said they would talk to the staff and that I should go back to pick up the items THEY failed to provide. I went back, and the same gentleman with the inconsistent, non-sober appearing behavior said he didn't hear anything from his manager and I had to call the manager AGAIN. If it isn't the poor behavior from the dude working there, the chick in the back with the sour attitude also fails every box of customer service. I'll never return. This was a great place when the original owner was running the show, now it's just bad.

Yumm tried for the first time today and I'm a kid at heart so of course I loved the sprinkled donut so moist and perfect. Never knew what I was missing until I tried their donuts! The employee at the register was wearing headphones and counting cash when I walked in. There was no greeting, no acknowledgment, and no effort to assist me. After repeatedly counting the money, he told me I would have to wait because he was about to clock out at 11:00 PM and needed to finish counting his drawer first. What concerned me most was that after handling cash, he immediately asked what I wanted to order. I requested that he wash his hands first. He refused, saying he wasn't going to touch the donuts with his hands because he would use tongs. Regardless, basic hygiene and food-handling practices should be taken seriously, especially when serving customers. At that point, I decided not to order anything and left. The entire experience felt unprofessional, unsanitary, and unwelcoming. It's disappointing to see a business operate this way. Management should seriously review customer service expectations and food safety procedures.

They have a steady stream of customers, which is not surprising given the quality. Thana and her husband own the three locations. Costumer service is very good, although there are times when they could use another person to help handle the crowd. The seating area is small and not especially comfortable. Overall they are pricey but the quality is excellent and the selection is hard to beat.
