Fantastic and the only place I know that has a RAISIN - pastry type donut. I ate so many of them that I had to give it a break! The people are wonderful and they honestly make me look forward to seeing them - not just the donuts! We moved down the road from them but we make sure to still make Donut spot one of our weekend guilty pleasures, as well as occasional gift to the staff at my office. Customer service is on point!! And they always have people lining out the door for their donuts and I was raised to shop an eat at places that are always busy!! That means they are GOOD! I come here a lot. However, the last 2 times including today have been bad. I was over charged the last 2 times and I ate here. No excuse. Argued with me about it until I asked to have a receipt printed. Also. I asked for a maple cinnamon roll which they usually have. She said we don't have any. I asked her to make one which they have done in the past. She said no. After further conversation she said they only dip the plain cinnamon roll and not the glazed sugar one. I took a Chocolate one but after a long dialog she said she could make one. Ridiculous. Just make the customer happy and avoid all this and certainly don't overcharge customers. When they order only 1 , charge for 1. Again the donuts are very good here. Hope this doesn't happen again. read more

Wow, this place is really really good! I don't eat donuts that often, but from time to time they're a nice post-workout treat. So I usually just go to the closest place and they are very good, but today they were out of just about everything so I tried something new. I should've checked the reviews online because apparently this is not a hidden gem, I just didn't notice it - even though I go to this shopping center regularly. My family has been enjoying the Donut Spot since we moved here I think over 30 years. It's a family run business. So friendly. Helped me out with dozens of donut gift certificates donations for our silent auction when my kids were little. Whether it's a donut, muffin or croissant it's always good. Also if you want a good cup of coffee to go with it they do a great job with that too. We recently tried a chocolate croissant at a fancy recommended pastry shop while downtown. First comment out of my daughter's mouth "Donut Spot does it way better! Their pastry is flaky yet not dry. They have a consistent layer of chocolate." I love their chocolate chip muffin for almost the same reasons. Always moist, great distribution of chocolate chips and amount of chocolate and they are a really nice size. I'm drooling! read more

Bar, simple... but they have the best!!! They are so fluffy and the maple is perfect, not to strong, not to weak, sometimes they'll be grainy from the sugar. I have fam that lives close by and I wanted to try this place. I drove up ~7am on a Sunday and there were two older gentleman outside at the tables. I asked, "morning, this is my first time here. What's good?" They replied, "everything!" Well, I went in and this family run business had a huge variety of donuts. Everyone working in there was very friendly. We were having guests over in the morning so I bought a dozen and brought them home. My family enjoyed these warm, fresh donuts. This is my new fave donut place. It's significantly farther than the one closer to home, but it's worth the drive. I only got three donuts, a Chocolate-chocolate, a blueberry, and a maple bar. Right from the get-go, I could tell I was going to enjoy these. They were fresh, soft, and moist. I was only able to eat one that day, So the next day I reached into the bag and got the blueberry donut and it was just as good as the day before. Usually, they are hard-dried lumps. Came here for donuts on a Sunday morning and the ambiance was calm and peaceful. There was just a small line but it moved quickly and they had a large selection of donuts. I tried the ham, egg and cheddar croissant and it was delicious. They asked if I wanted it warmed or not, I said yes and they just throw it in the microwave but it was still delicious. If you want an authentic neighborhood donut shop, then this is your place. I have been coming here for years and this Mom and Pop family business is the real deal. The quality of the ingredients comes shining through in their donuts and muffins. Some places only have one or two memorable donuts, but Donut Spot has many excellent donuts. Classic, cake, cruller, old fashion, cinnamon swirl, apple fritter, and a variety of muffins and croissant options as well. My favorites are the chocolate white cake, glazed cruller, apple fritter (warning that this is a huge donut), and crumb donut. I absolutely love The Donut Spot. Everything is perfect and better than ever. The service is great and I feel like the employees generally care about the costumerʻs, which is not something you find everywhere nowadays. The shop is older and a bit outdated but there is plenty of room to sit on the average day and also tables outside if you prefer. I do not have any actual complaints about this shop besides that sometimes they run out of donuts on busy days which is so sad!! .
