I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary, which was fabulous, and the Lake Perch Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. The sandwich was a generous portion, and could have easily been shared. The fish was large and flakey, and the Brioche bun buttery and sweet. Our server was very friendly, and treated both us and our kids with great attention and humor. It doesn't matter if you are staying at the resort, because every visit here makes you feel like you belong.

The place is right on the water and within walking distance to some restaurants and shopping. It's also smack dab in the middle of the farmer's market. It's a little 'old' but the vibes and character are cool. The stained glass windows in the restaurant are awesome. Restaurant was just OK. Both of our meals (my husband and I) were fine. For lunch/dinner I've had their cheese curds and triple decker club wrap with waffle fries. The meals were two different tales. I didn't care for the breakfast burrito very much. I thought cheese was lacking in the burrito and it was messy not being able to pick it up and eat it like a wrap due to the gravy on top. Given the chance to do it over, I would get the gravy on the side and dunk it into it before taking a bite. Conversely, Iiked the the triple decker club wrap and thought it had a nice balance between the three meats (ham, bacon, turkey), good crunch from the lettuce, and maybe a bit too much mayo, but enough to keep the wrap from being dry. The waffle fries were good too. The cheese curds had a nice hand dipped batter going on.

Finally seated, I ordered the cod with potatoes pancakes. This food was infused with so much old grease that it pooled on my plate. By far the worse fish fry. I cannot speak for their other food but if they would allow this food to leave their kitchen then I'm sure the other food is bad as well. Quite sad that people allow these horrible restaurants to continue by patronizing them. Demand better by not going to these restaurants.
