So sad to see a restaurant that serves EXCEPTIONAL meals has some stupid reviews. All i can say is that we WERE NOT here on a Thursday, when they have the AMAZING $5.00 1/2 LB burger with fries deal. Not on the go back list. Very expensive for ok food. We went on $5 double bacon cheese burger night. Before you get excited the burger was a plain double cheeseburger no condiments with fries. The add shows a picture shows everything. When I ask I was told that was just it was their logo. Our meal on $5.00 burger night was $16.00 as drinks are not included. On the regular menu the Manny burger is 10.50. A cheeseburger is 9.99. Burgers are al la cart. That makes it really expensive for a party of 4. I know the original mlMannys got off to a rough start and some of the reviews came in poorly. But it's Under New Management now and the burgers are awesome. I really like the fresh cut french fries they're so good and my kids love them. Please support our local businesses we're going to end up with nothing except giant corporate places like McDonald's and Taco Bell. read more

Very happy to report that Fernando, the manager, contacted me and apologized for our experience and invited us to give them another try. My husband's double cheeseburger was juicy, very appetizing looking and he said it was delicious! I opted for the chicken "burger" which was actually a small chicken breast. It was juicy and very tasty. Loved the cole slaw and pickles on it. Fries were good! So happy to be able to say our second trip was such a success! My family came in on a Thursday when they have $5 burger and fries. By the time we came they had sold out of beef patties so they gave us chicken sandwiches for the same price. Not only was the food delicious but the service was amazing. Super friendly!! We will definitely be back. read more

***update*** changed to 1 star We went back to Manny's and we were terribly disappointed in the food quality. After giving them a shot when they initially opened, they have slowly slid downwards in their overall quality and service. One employee now runs the whole store, from ordering to cooking. The place was slightly dirty when we arrived, but the worst was serving store bought burgers patties that have fake grill marks on them. This is unacceptable and they tasted dry and pre-cooked/boiled. I don't see this place surviving much longer. We will not be going back. ***Original*** 4 star Went in tonight for a couple burgers, fries, and onion rings. Our burgers came out in a timely manner. I enjoyed the taste and size of the patty, but I do agree with some of the other comments that my patty was much smaller than the bun. The seasoning on the fries was perfect, nice, light, and crispy. Well seasoned. The onion rings were nice and crunchy, maybe a little over cooked, but the breading was nice and thin with good flavor. The decor was ok, still reminds me a lot of Filiberto's. I read another post that they are planning to add other decor. I hope they do something soon because it's just doesn't have much of its own character. They also need a lighted sign outside. Even though we knew the restaurant was there, we still had to look around for it. I'm sure someone looking for a place to eat and not knowing it's there, they probably won't see it. Went last evening around 5:30 for the $5 Thursday special and noticed it was packed. The bad thing was that everyone in there had been waiting at least 30 mins for their food. People were actually asking for their money back because they had either waited too long or their order wasn't correct. We waited for almost an hour ourselves but kept amused by countless people walking in only to be turned away and told they were out of hamburgers. To add to our amusement two employees walked in around 6:00 and the female had a charcoal facial mask on!!!! We could not believe they allowed an employee to come to work like that and wait on customers!! We thought she was a customer, which would have been bad enough! We finally got our food after an hour and to our surprise the burgers were excellent! We were disappointed that we didn't get the hand cut French fries but I guess we should be happy we got any food at all! All in all we give 5 stars for the burgers but the service has a lot to be desired. read more

Went there first time on Burger night. The fries were terrible, they were grease and limp. The burger was not very tasteful at all.

I can say that the burger I had was probably one of the worst I have ever tried. It had little flavor and a bad seasoning. Undoubtedly a low grade ground beef. Usually a burger is a safe choice however the selection here left a lot to be desired. The fries were decent and the highlight of the order. Given the taste of the burger I won't be making a return visit. Hopefully there will be improvements made as Anthem needs restaurants with staying power. I just don't see this establishment making it long term based on my experience. read more

I stopped to pick up a burger for my husband, it was the first time I had been there. I ordered the BBQ Burger and I waited maybe 5 or 6 minutes, it's cooked fresh. We went for the $5 double cheeseburger special on Thursday nights. Turns out it's now $6. No big deal but now I know why the price is so cheap, the meat is weird. The taste and texture is strange. This place is a hot mess. I was hungry so I went here for a burger. I go up to the counter to order and they informed me that they are all out of hamburger meat (how does a burger place run out of hamburger meat?) so I ordered a chicken sandwich thinking the food would be ready in 5 to 15 mins. I waited well over a hour for the food to be ready (the place wasn't short staffed or overly crowded) After I finally got my chicken sandwich it was decent but I'd expect that for how much it cost.
