I'm really surprised this place isn't packed, the service was EXCELLENT, the place is clean & organized but the burgers are AMAZING!! We both ordered the Double Char, plus sweet potato fries & onion rings. The burger was very juicy & made to order, fresh produce on both. The onion rings & sp fries were delish! And they give a generous serving too! We will definitely be back & hopefully soon! lol!! The prices are fair for the quality of the food. The Habit Burger on Thunderbird in Glendale has been my go to for a veggie burger. It has been the only fast food veggie burger I will eat out, that is until my experience yesterday. The burger was smaller, not as juicy and tasty and they no longer offer the honey mustard dressing on it. The condiments on it were skimpy and it was an overall bad experience. To top this off I could not understand the sales clerk. She spoke rapidly and because English is not her first language (no problem there as English is not my first language either) there was a language barrier. We like the food but will never go back. We had issues with drive thru order was wrong 2 times. Last 2 visits again the order is wrong even though the receipt and the one on the tray was correct. This time I spoke with the manager Ari and told her this is twice they have screwed up orders and her response was "what would like me to do!" I've been to Habit Burger places in SoCal and always enjoyed their burgers. Having relocated to Phoenix, AZ for a new job, my first lunch was Habit Burger! I thought why not compare it with SoCal. Well ... Phoenix didn't disappoint. Their burgers were just as excellent as I've had. The area surrounding it seemed cleaner than those in SoCal. It was a hot day though at 112 degrees (115 at this time of writing). So of course I lounged around a bit with an extra helping of cold drinks before heading back to work. I really love this place it's one of my go tos for a quick burger, but we went today and they no longer have a drive thru. It's mobile pick up only which seems like a weird and cumbersome switch. Honestly we skipped it and went somewhere else because of the hassle. I am not sure we will be back because of the mobile only pick up option they have since it's usually something we think of one the way back from my daughters gymnastics and I really don't see us remembering to order ahead. Our plan was to grab a burger and a shake at Lenny's down the street but Lenny's wasn't open although it was past opening time. So we went to Habit and I am glad we did so. The ambiance was good, the place was clean and the food was very good. I didn't know about Habit prior to my visit but it has become my new burger place. I don't usually write reviews, but my recent experience at The Habit left me a bit disappointed. I've ordered the same salad before through DoorDash and it was excellent, but this time around, the quality just wasn't the same. To start, I was informed they were out of eggs for the salad. Which I completely understand; things run out. However, I was still charged extra for bacon even though I had removed avocado (a protein I don't eat) and eggs weren't available. To make matters worse, the bacon wasn't even included in the order after the upcharge. The "everything seasoning" was also missing, which took away from the flavor I was expecting. Additionally, a few pieces of lettuce were in poor shape, not enough to ruin the entire salad, but definitely noticeable. Overall, the salad was just okay--not terrible, but far from the quality I've had in the past. It seemed thrown together in a very rushed manner when they weren't terribly busy. (At least judging from business inside.) But it left me wishing I'd chosen to somewhere else to pick up food on the way home. read more

I've visited several Habit Burger locations, and this one is definitely less busy, which is a plus. The restaurant looks clean, but the floor is incredibly greasy and slippery, which is a safety concern. The bathrooms require a code to enter, which is a bit inconvenient. Customer service here is minimal since we ordered at the self-service kiosk. We could see the staff in the kitchen, and one girl with black curly hair and a drive-through headband gave us a bombastic side-eye for some reason, even though she didn't take our order. The only interaction we had was with the girl who handed us our food. She had long, straight reddish hair and was nice enough to smile, but that was it. One thing that really bothered me was paying $0.60 for a tiny side of ranch that wasn't even full. It was less than a tablespoon, whereas most places give it for free. I don't mind paying the $0.60, but at least give me a decent amount, more than 1 ounce Lol. read more

Ordered a meal through the drive thru on a Sunday night. Got home to see it was the wrong one. I went back and they were clearly slammed with someone leaving early because they were sick. My dad and I love this place. Every time we go - the food is good and the staff is kind, and seemingly in a good mood and happy to be there. I am leaving this review tonight because some older woman - I say older because she was old enough to know her behavior was inappropriate - was acting a complete fool, yelling and cursing at the staff because she was missing green beans from her order. The young guy apologized for the confusion (they were REALLY busy - and accidents happen) and he would drop them now and would be ready in a few minutes. The worker apologized profusely - and was never rude back, even though he could have been, because her behavior was out of control and gave me second hand embarrassment. The young worker and who I think was a young female manager handled the woman with grace and I appreciate them for that. I hope this review gets them a raise or even a free meal - because no one deserves to be spoken to like that. Took my money, gave me no food, promised me a refund, took my reciept and no refund ever happened. Oct 26, 2024 at 6p, the place must have the AirCon set to 60. Its freezing. Food is sitting at the pass like its in a refrigerator. Kitchen keeps have to remake food. Putting sauce on things when a customer asked for no sauce. Putting cheese on burgers when a customer asked for no cheese. Staff is exhausted. Manager says he is burnt out and has been at work since 9am. Staff keeps throwing out food and starting over. Manager apologizes, reassures me they will remake my order, only to wait for 20 more minutes to be told they are out of stock of what I ordered and promises a refund that never happens. Manager Alex says they are overwhelmed, and I look around the restaurant and I am the only customer. He sees me look around bewildered and explains its the drive thru. I walk over to the window, there are literally only four cars at the drive thru. Well, I told him, I guess if you have to make every order twice, that can get overwhelming. He didn't seem amused by my comment. I am speechless. Tried contact Habit corporate office, no response. Tried contacting the local store and got no response. Filed a complaint with my debit card, they denied it citing I had no proof. Filed a police report of theft, got my police report number and sent it back to bank for proof. Some times we eat here and everything is great. Sometimes we eat here and nothing is great. We appreciate the roasted cauliflower and impossible burger offerings, but not if their staff won't make it. I cannot emphasize just how cold they had that restaurant. It was like walking into a refrigerator. When food came off the grill, it was like the food was being placed in a refrigerator as it sat, unattended above the grill waiting for the cooks to finish preparing other meals to complete that order. I believe there was more employees there then there were customers, so I am absolutely shocked at the level of incompetence and leadership at this location. The Habit Burger is one of my favorite burger spots. I haven't been in about a year!!! So, it was a nice treat when my friend decided to treat me to lunch. My favorite burger is the BBQ Bacon Burger with Cheese. That's my usual to-go to. But, I did enjoy the French Onion Burger, but I think that was a limited time thing, as I hadn't seen it on the menu. I RARELY get fries when I get my burger from here. The Fried Green Beans with the Boom Sauce is the way to go! I'll order that alone if I'm just wanting a snack and no a whole meal. If you haven't tried them, you should! Been my friend that does like veggies said they were doable lol (coming from a person that consider French Fries a vegetable LOL). This was my first time trying the Mango Limeade drink, and I'm very glad I did! It was very refreshing for such a hot day! This location is in desperate need of quality control. Shame on me for continuing to go here, but I was hoping it was just a few bad days and it would get better. Nearly every time I go now, I am seeing the same issue. I get the grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken is getting smaller and smaller to the point it is basically a chicken strip on each half of the sandwich. New location, but the ice cream machine has already broken several times. The terriaki sauces is overloaded with sodium. The menu and burger patties are tiny. I'm not one to like bacon squares in place of strips. They were piled toward the center of the burger so only one bite really gets any. There was however a great amount of topping that tasted fresh. The service was friendly. I went out to the patio because the inside seating was too cold. Ultimately, I don't expect to ever eat here again. I don't need to pay 40% more for something that smaller and over hyped. That is somewhat of a shame because they actually did really good with the tempura green beans. Habit Burger is the best fast food burger that I have had in North Phoenix. I prefer my own grilled burgers or a good pub burger. Habit surprisingly has the freshest flavor. The burger is not overpowered by the charcoal. The meat is also juicy. The veggies on the burger are fresh and crisp. They don't taste like they came from a bag that has sat too long. Also the fries and onion rings are craveable! I love a good crisp fried onion ring or French fry. The mushroom burger is also tasty. Just be prepared not to lay this one down and have plenty of Napkins. I look forward to trying other items on the menu. read more

Came here for some quick dinner. I got a Garlic Portabella Charburger and a side salad which cost $10.51. I really like the extra sides such as jalepenos that I could take home. The burger was pretty tasty and the salad and red wine dressing was fairly bland. The service was friendly but not as fast as other fast food places I've been to. read more
