My family and I went to Manny's a few days ago. They exceeded our expectations on all levels. We had personal size pizzas and a calzone and drinks. You can see and taste the freshness of the food. Pizza is what I was put on the earth to eat lol! Manny's pizza is close to Rio Vista so now I get to cheat all the time on the local pie place! The crust was great , real cheesy , perfect amount of meats , just the right amount of veggies. I definitely will have to go back after the corona lock down! Keep up the great work Manny! Wonderful dinner in the outdoor patio surrounded by old brick walls with a beautiful fountain in the middle - the food was amazing! Calamari appetizer, wedge salad, pesto prawn pizza and lemon gelato dessert- prices were reasonable- we were transported to a time before covid - (even though everyone was distanced and servers wearing masks )- thankyou for a great time!! read more

I understand. It's the first week that's been open, but the pizza was undercooked. The vegetables were not properly cooked . The food is cold lukewarm at best. Not going to knock the service, friendly staff, knowledgeable bartender and good drinks. Will try again in about a month and hope it gets better. read more

Nice place! Stopped in on a Tuesday and ate at the bar. Everything was great. We had the fried raviolis, kinda zesty but yum! The calamari was very good, delicately breaded and tender and thesauce they served with it was really good! And last but not least the buffalo wings were nicely spicy without being too hot! Dont forget the desserts!! I had the apple cheescake. Its round! But pretty good as well. Everything from my salad to dessert was excellent!! I would come again, might even try the pizza. We love Manny's we order take out from the at least twice a month. Service is great and everyone is so friendly. Their pizza is so good. We haven't made our way through all of their specialty pizzas, but what we have experienced has been delicious. What a hidden gem! I first came here with my son in law and now I bring others to enjoy the ambiance and the food is amazing!

We got take out Pizza and calamari and brought it back to Oxbow Marina. I love the spicy sauce/mayo for the calamari...don't know what they call it. I think this business tries really hard during Covid. They have outdoor dining, and disinfectant by the door, which is a lot more than what other restaurants do. One of the few restaurants that are still open in Isleton, I would totally support them even after the pandemic. It looks really cute inside. read more

I visited Manny's for a third time yesterday - with my wife this time - and we enjoyed the most exquisite meal and service in a very long time. I only wish Manny's were a little closer to the bay area so we could visit more often! We had the wedge salad and meatballs for appetizers, and then a personal pizza each for lunch (yes, a bit much) and everything was 100% top shelf! You could tell all of the ingredients in their dishes are fresh end of high-quality. And our server was a delight! read more

After recently having lunch for the first time at Manny's Barzerria, my husband and I agreed: we wish we had discovered Manny's sooner. It was the best dining experience we've had in the area for a very long time. When we arrived, we were greeted pleasantly and seated promptly. We sat in the outdoor patio, which is very pleasant. Our server was excellent; we couldn't have asked for better. And when our meals were served, from the freshness, the flavors, and the visual presentation, it was evident they were prepared by a skilled chef (not a cook). With being open just about a week they are doing well. The pizza was tasty, would love a little more sauce on my pizza.. they give you a nice amount of topping on the pizza!!!!! Nice atmosphere. Small speciality pizza was just $18.50 with tax! The only area for improvement is getting quicker with the amount of Pizza orders the have.....on National Pizza Day it was slow to receive a pizza as they can only produce so many at a time and I think they under prepared possibly with oven space. I remember coming to the restaurant in the old building in Iselton with the crawfish painted on it as a child. When I heard it had been turned into an Italian "barzzeria" after years of being abandoned, my nostalgia inspired me to check it out. The building outside looked just as I remembered it but the interior has been completely remodeled. It has a really nice rustic bar feel and everything looks really beautiful. Also, it's HUGE compared to how it was before and I found out it was because they knocked a couple walls down. The two ladies who welcomed us were very sweet and warm. The service was fantastic from start to finish. We ordered garlic bread, a cup of minestrone, spaghetti and meatballs, and calzone. Pretty basic choices but we wanted that traditional Italian restaurant experience. The soup was just right and the garlic bread was perfection. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked and the meatballs were tender, juicy, and flavorful. The calzone was honestly the best I have ever had. The crust wasn't too thick and had such good flavor. It felt like I was slurping cheese into my mouth for hours, it was so stuffed with yummy goodness. I'm so pleased to see quality businesses such as this one arrive and revitalize the sleepy town of Isleton. This restaurant is only slightly off the beaten path but totally worth a stop. Take an afternoon drive on the river road to watch the sunset and finish your drive with a cocktail and good meal that will warm your soul. read more

April 14, 2020 - Covid 19 throughout thg he world, Manny's is open for curbside pickup only. Supporting small businesses is how we are going to keep them around. We bought a pizza, steak dinner and a peach cobbler. Wow, delicious as we are it in our secluded campground spot nearby. Service was quick, cheerful and food was great. They are taking caution seriously, gloves, wiping down credit cards, making sure they wash their hands after every customer. Since moving to Rio Vista 3 years ago we have not found a restaurant within 30 minutes but wowed us. This place is absolutely phenomenal! I'm the drinks to the service to the food. Everything is fresh and homemade! I cannot wait to return to this place over and over and over again until I've tried everything on the menus. Today was my fourth visit to Manny's. Just wanted to make sure I was right! And I am. Manny's food is really good. Each visit I ordered a small house salad with the house Italian dressing--be prepared to take some home. I have also tried the calamari, the onion rings and the chicken wings. Calamari is exceptional, onion rings are excellent, wings are touch and go--sauce is tasty, flats are juicy, drumettes are dry and chewy. Today my daughter and I celebrated her April birthday and Mothers Day with that tasty salad and dressing, those lighter than air calamari pieces and the crispy onion rings. She wanted a pizza and we added the Di Parma without the prosciutto substituting artichoke hearts. DIVINE! That crispy almost cracker like crust was yummy, the mozzarella generous, and the arugula so bright and tasty. Their patio is inviting, the service is good, street parking is generous. Masks are required for entry but once seated may be removed. Extended wine list and fancy mixed drinks, lots of beer on tap. Please go, enjoy, even look at the birds. We saw a baby, just fledged hummingbird, hanging out on the patio light wires--and mom close by with fresh food. Nice place! Highly recommend! read more

We live not too far from here and wanted to try it out and wow we were not let down! Since there's still Covid we ordered online and picked it up. Food was ready almost exactly when it was said to be ready. The restaurant was immaculate. Even with the dining tables out of use, I couldn't help but notice how clean and tidy and new everything looked. The bar was setup pristinely and each bottle that filled the shelves did not have one speck of dust. As I waited a minute for my order, several parties arrived for outdoor dining on their perfectly cute outdoor patio. Once home we tried the food, the cheeseburger Med rare with garlic fries, a steak sandwich Med rare with onion rings and a large linguisa and sausage pizza. All cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious. The calamari was the best I've ever had, perfectly seasoned. The pizza fell apart a bit and the crust was a bit thin but it tasted great. The apple cobbler was also tasty, although could've used a few more minutes in the oven and a bit lower ice cream to cobbler ratio. This was a little hidden gem we enjoyed before we headed out camping. The food was delicious and the service from Stephen was outstanding. We would definitely come back! The bathrooms are clean and nice which just shows additional attention to detail. The patio is lovely. Try the mozzarella sticks...they have little bits of jalapeños in the breading. Yum! read more
