Come here for some amazing authentic comfort food. We all left with big smiles and happy memories. Service: so friendly and so welcoming. The chef, Memo, came out and talked to us. He told us how Memo's came about. He is from the Bay Area and was a chef for high end restaurants in Palo Alto and Menlo Park. Brought it right here in this cute little community called Isleton. Nice touches such as they roast their own coffee, highly filtrated water system, European cooking techniques which create the outstanding flavors. The whole place is so clean and cozy. We will definitely be back and it's worth the 1 hour drive it took us to get here.

A hidden gem in Isleton that I found on my way home from Sac., and I'm truly glad I made the pit stop. Service was great and food was even better! Plus everything was made in house. I tried the Chile con Queso, a very different version of a typical Chile relleno. This grilled Pasilla pepper was filled w/mozzarella cheese & mashed potatoes, served w/chunky salsa ranchera. It was tasty but I still prefer the standard chile relleno. I took the cilantro rice and black beans to go. The next day I made a burrito and it was good. The dessert, Queso Napolitano was to die for! It was rich & creamy w/caramel and topped with strawberry jam. Mirles, the pastry chef confirmed she made the flan like cheesecake with the homemade strawberry jam. A must try dessert!

I can't believe we waited so long to try this new spot in Isleton! The resraurant is small but the vibe is spot on and makes you feel comfortable. Hannah was our server and she was so sweet and very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. 10/10 service! Memo even came up to our table to introduce himself and ask us how we were doing. Everything we ordered was amazing! Possibly the best carnitas ive ever had. We will definitely be coming back to try everything else on the menu.

Three of us had lunch at this restaurant today and found it a delightful experience. One of us had the vegan skewers, one had a shrimp dish, and the third had street tacos. We got shrimp ceviche for the table and lovely Prosecco to drink. The service was superb and the atmosphere is delightful.

This was my delicious pork chop dinner at Memos in Istleton, Ca. My friends loved their meal too! Praise God for this amazing restaurant!

    Island tower.

Food was incredibly fresh, and delicious, every bite was a delight. We ordered the Island tower. Which is essentially a breakfast burrito stacked in a perfect circle comes with chips. Delicious !!!!!! Service was spot on!! And quick. With a smile. Ambiance is sooo cozy and very clean. This place is a Gem in the city of Isleton. Def coming back!!

    Carnitas burrito

Awesome fat burritos featuring scratch made meats and salsas. Extremely high end quality, but reasonably priced. No low-end fillings. Staff and owner super friendly. Owner was explaining to us how he makes this special "tomatillo rice" for the burritos. Sweet espresso machine. All in all a great food experience. :) I used to spend 1970's and 1980's summers on my dad's sailboat tied up to the trees along steamboat slough near here, which was a HUGE scene at that time,,,tons of liveaboard boaters. And we'd sometimes drive here to isleton for gas. Ice. Food. Etc. It's nice to see this 19th century historic town revitalized now as a vibrant restaurant scene. So cool! I want to try the ceviche upon my next visit to Memo's.

Soft opening 10/19/25 - Party of 3 @ 11:30a We were welcomed by owners and staff by the entrance along with samples of both shrimp ceviche & mini street tacos. They offered limited menu for soft opening. We ordered a few mini street tacos which came with mild roasted tomatillo cilantro & spicy roasted tomatoes habanero (on point!). We're definitely looking forward to trying the full menu after Wednesday, 10/22/25.

    Great wine

I believe the food and service was 10 + stars service was great four great service awesome . I had tiramisu wonderful and lam chops yummy Will be back

We finally made it out to Memo's in Isleton and had a great experience. The cochinita burrito was excellent, the ceviche tasted incredibly fresh, and the sangria was really good. Just a warning, the salsa that comes with the ceviche is seriously hot. They warn you at the table, and they're not exaggerating. We finished with the coconut flan and tiramisu (yes, both), and both were unreal. The food was great, but the people running the place made the experience even better. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and clearly cared about what they were serving. Memo's is absolutely worth the drive. We'll be back a lot more often.

    Service was excellent!

The food was amazing! Fresh, seasoned very well, and nice portions! They have a full bar and Margaritas are out of the world! Customer service was excellent, catered to our every need. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Carnitas burrito and street tacos! Burrito was delicious and not dry!

Exceptional customer service and a truly delightful experience! The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor--absolutely delicious. The space feels wonderfully cozy, with thoughtful design and charming decorations that make you want to linger. Don't be fooled by the exterior; this spot is a hidden gem worth discovering! Be sure to save room for their outstanding desserts--they're not to be missed. My husband loved his coffee, and our friendly server, Hanna, went above and beyond by showing us the actual coffee beans sourced from Chiapas, Mexico (known for their smooth, nutty notes with hints of chocolate--such a nice touch!). Highly recommend this place for a relaxing, tasty meal. We'll definitely be back!

Memo's Cuisine is a sweet new restaurant to try. What a lovely little town and spot to rest from traveling. The restaurant is small and inviting. We received warm smiles and felt instantly welcome. It has an eclectic dinner menu with cuisine of a latin focus. Savanah took our order and was very personable and helpful with our choices. I appreciated her natural and honest serving style. We did in fact receive service from the entire front of the house, feeling doted on by everyone. We began with beer and sangria in a sultry glass. My husband ordered the airline chicken with peanut salsa. The peanut flavor blended beautifully with the dish though we thought the chicken was a tad overdone. I ordered the beef skewers with chimichurri. The chimichurri is on top of the steak. The dish was delicious and I was happy with my choice. Dishes were served with rice and choice of beans on the side. They are made to order. We started with the caesar salad that Savanah recommended because of its authentic dressing. Fresh, tasty, and satisfying, just as she said! We finished with flan that had a red berry coulis sauce on top with a touch of whipped cream. At the end of the meal, the chef came out for a table visit. Memo's cuisine are dishes close to Chef Memo's heart and you cannot go wrong by going a short distance from the beaten track for a bite to eat. It is a place as if you are friends being welcomed into their home for a nice hot meal. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will return!

Bravazo is located in downtown Pleasanton, there are plenty of free parking in the area. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating! I stopped by on a Friday and with it being 70+ degrees, I opted for sitting inside! I ordered the passion fruit juice and aji de gallina. The juice was so refreshing on a nice day like this. The food did take some time and they offered me a beef empanada while I waited! Both the empanada and aji de gallina were very flavorful. Even the inside of the potato was very seasoned. My guest got the pan con chicharron and thought the meat was very tender and tasty. The staff were great especially Cesar!! Bathroom is located in the back outside so you'll need to ask the staff for the key. Overall, great atmosphere and great food! Can't wait to come back!

Vibrant flavors and great outdoor dining in downtown Pleasanton!…read more Rating: 5 out of 5 stars We were just walking around downtown Pleasanton planning to visit another Latin-American restaurant when we came across Bravazo. Its vibrant menu immediately caught our attention. Purely by coincidence, we also wanted to listen to some live music, and to our luck, there was live jazz playing right across the street at Nonni's Bistro. We decided to eat at Bravazo and enjoy the music at the same time. I really like when a menu is simple and concise because it gives you the feeling they make sure every dish is cooked to perfection, and they certainly delivered on that! Here is what we ordered: Bravazo Paella: Beautifully presented and served in a massive quantity. It consists of shrimp, mussels, chicken, beef, and chorizo in a deeply flavorful broth. Everything about this dish was fantastic, every bite delivered, and it came with a generous portion of meat and seafood. Peruvian Ceviche (Salmon, Medium Spicy): Made with fresh salmon marinated in lime, cilantro, onions, ginger, sweet potato, and Peruvian corn. It was really good, though I could have done without the spice, so next time I will order it mild. The corn kernels were huge compared to our local corn; we asked about them, and the staff mentioned they ship them directly from Peru, which was a wonderful authentic touch. Custom Salad: Even though a salad was not on the menu, we asked our server if they could accommodate our request, and they happily did! It was a very nice salad that hit the spot, featuring a great portion of avocados, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red Swiss chard, and feta cheese. Service Highlight: They have a server, but the owner also helps out at the tables. It was very thoughtful of the owner to make sure we got fresh new plates for the Peruvian ceviche so the flavors would not mix with the paella. We were so glad we did that because it let us fully appreciate the distinct taste of the ceviche. Practical Details & Atmosphere: Portions and Ordering: When we were seated, the server was very polite and helpful in explaining the portion sizes. He mentioned the paella was big enough to keep two people happy for a while, but we might want a bit more later. We ended up ordering the ceviche midway through our paella, and guess we were hungry because we ended up cleaning all our dishes completely. Parking & Seating: The weather was perfect for outdoor seating, and with the live jazz playing across the street, the meal felt even better. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We were able to park a few blocks away for a short, easy walk. Surprisingly, the downtown stretch was not too busy that Saturday evening, making parking a breeze, though it can get tough if a local event is happening. Overall, Bravazo is a wonderful spot with incredible food and great service. It is definitely a must-visit, and next time we might even try their drinks too!
