Come by to check it out. I doubt you would be disappointed. Advise bringing a sweaterit it is quite chilly until they get heaters Bar, wine, beer selections are decent. We were camping locally and wanted to go out to dinner one night and found this place by YELP reviews. The Yelp reviews were great and they didn't disappoint. This restaurant is in the tiny town of Isleton. There is street parking out front. They have A/C seating inside (thank goodness) and patio seating with a nice fountain outside. We were a group of 6 and made reservations the day before. We got there early and they had the table all set and were ready for us to sit down right away. We had a male waiter who was working so hard and so fast and did a great job. Very happy with the service. We ordered 4 different pizzas and 2 different salads. Everything was fresh and delicious. Wow! What a yummy discovery in Isleton. Dine-In is available during COVID 19, their menu offers pizza, salad and more fine dining style entrees. Their patio area is clean, well spaced and charming... they display their protocols clearly for the safety of their guests. My waiter Stephen stood out. He offered suggestions throughout the menu while adding a warm and inviting energy to the evening. In spite of it of being a full house on a Sunday night - he offered intuitive, friendly personalized service. In addition to a very fresh dinner salad (kudos for a mixed green salad that has perfect lettuce!) ordered a Mediterranean pizza which had a nice amount of toppings and excellent flavor. Wanted to let you know right away that this is a great restaurant in the Delta!! We sat in their lovely courtyard in 100 degrees and sure it was very hot but it felt very Italian and lovely. Had lunch here today and we really liked it. The food, the servers, the ambiance. Hubby had jalopeno pizza, I had nachos and a small garden salad. So so yummy but the salad filled me up. The food is good so it makes up for the lack of quality service. Placed an online order for curbside pickup, got the text my order was ready and waited an additional 20 minutes when it was never brought out I walked in to pick it up. I stood there for close to 10 minutes with the waitress walking back and forth and never once even said hello I'll be with you in a minute. I had to finally flag down the bar tender and ask if there was someone who could help me. He was polite and quickly went to the back to get my $100 order. Two words: Shrimp Scampi! So so good. This was our first time going to Manny's and sat in their outdoor seating area, and it was so lovely. They did a great job designing the area with the string lights, succulents, and how the seating was arranged. You feel as if you are in your own private setting. The food is really good too. The bar area has this beautiful vintage refrigerator that gives this place a charming vibe and the selections of spirits is a great thumbs up. Don't get me started on the dinning area and patio! Had the chicken parmesan and it was good but was looking for the steak. Would like a burger on the menu if possible ? Manny's was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise. It's very unassuming from the outside, with only the patio on the side as a hint. But the interior and the patio have been extensively renovated, and are immaculate. The menu is focused on pizzas, pasta, calzones, etc. We had the delicious Pear and Cheese Fiocchi (with local ingredients), and the Polpetta Calzone, which had housemade meatballs and a light and airy wrap. We finished with a peach cobbler and lattes, both top-notch. Prices were fair, service was excellent, and the ambiance was fantastic. So happy I scrolled thru yelp's highest rated restaurants near me... and so worth the drive out to Isleton. Really like the vibe here just off the main country highway, but don't really hear the cars even though we sat outside on the patio. The five of us tried a bunch of stuff starting with a few beers on tap, mixed drinks and sodas and garlic fries. Maybe the best garlic fries I've had, nice an crisp with a perfect amount of garlic and parmesan. I had the Isleton Pizza with garlic prawns, tomato, onion, olives, with pesto and topped with crumbled feta. One of the best pizzas I've had in my life. No exaggeration. Perfect cook, a little brown on bottom, and perfect crust when you pick a slice it holds firm, but is somehow soft and doesn't collapse. One had the Delta King pizza which is basically a combo. Excellent pizza. Cooked perfectly. The real test is a simple pepperoni pizza. Perfect ratio of sauce-cheese-pep. Also cooked perfect. One had the pepperoni calzone, also cooked perfectly, my son said it's pretty much a big delicious hot pocket :) Last one had the fried chicken sandwich(they called it a chicken burger). Very good fried chicken breast and on a brioche bun. We actually were full, but decided on dessert since we love great food and wanted to keep going lol. We got the cannolis, chocolate lava cake, caramel cheesecake, and chocolate covered spumoni ice cream. All the desserts were sooooooo good and the cannoli were the best I've ever had. All the desserts were plated beautifully on top of all the food being excellent. Our waitress was nice and kept refilling drinks and always attentive despite the place being kinda busy. There were 3 adults and we ordered one large house salad that we shared as well as one large Delta pizza and we each had iced tea and a dessert. The total with tax was over $110. I got a pizza and paid for extra pepperoni, which did not get put on. I discovered when I got home and didn't want to go back. Took a friend there for dinner. It was crowded and we were put at a long table right in front of the bar. Had people's butts brushing against my head for a half hour until we moved to the end of the table. I ordered fettuccine, when it came out it was barely warm and in minutes it turned to glue. They used huge fat noodles and almost no sauce and it was disgusting. Never again. read more
