if I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a carrot cake. It was supposed to have more of a Halloween style vibe to it. Yes, I know it's February. I do not care instead. She made it a white and purple cake, she put a black cloth ribbon around the base of the cake which I don't care if is done or not it's gross and I don't know where that ribbon came from or if it was even clean. But like I said, it was supposed to be a carrot cake when I cut into the cake it had large shredded carrots in it. It was more carrot than actual cake and by the way when you make carrot cake, the dough is supposed spice cake dough.whatever dough you used was flavorless I took a bite and got nothing but carrot. It was like dipping an actual carrot into cream cheese frosting and taking a bite. This was a waste of $50. It was an incredible disappointment for a birthday cake. clearly you don't know how to actually bake. I will never shop here again and I highly suggest no one else does either. Love Manny's I have been going here for years now. I love there fritters OMG they have the best in New Mexico hands down. To top it off I didn't even know that you could get sugar free cupcakes but Manny's does offer them with an advanced order. The owner is really friendly and approachable will tell you all about her dad Manny and how he came to build this beautiful Bakery. This is my first time to Manny's. I got there later in the morning so there wasn't a huge selection left (my mistake!). I bought a cinnamon roll and a pumpkin empanada and both were delicious. Empanada dough was soft and the filling was flavorful and the cinnamon roll I heated up later for dessert. And it was soft and flavorful. Both had wonderful dough and were perfectly sweet. I'm going to try to go earlier next time and hope for their tortillas and definitely get more empanadas! Also very friendly service! read more

We were watching the Fourth of July parade when a woman next to us, Yvonne from Belen, told us that Manny's was excellent. So, we had to indulge. Everyone in there was so very friendly and helpful! The donuts were cake donuts and delicious. We also bought a ham and cheese breakfast roll which was good, too. She sells biscochitos for $5.50 a dozen year-round. Worth the drive!! I live in Rio Communities and every now and then I make the 15 mile drive early in the morning for Manny's goodies. My favorite is their cream filled bear claws covered with crushed peanuts. A close second is their apple green chile fritters. That's because I had never tried their empanadas! Wow! The crust is so light and flakey. The apricot filling was a little too sweet for my taste but THAT CRUST! Now we just need to get them to open a branch in Rio Communities! read more

This place has been in Los Lunas for a number of years. I have never stopped in but traffic was a mess and I had time to kill, I stopped in. Everything smelled delicious. It was the end of the day, but there was still a nice selection of empanadas and cookies. You can also order cakes! Need advance notice. While I was asking about ordering a cake I noticed some cookies. They looked like chocolate chip with pecans. My favorite of my favorite cookie. After talking about the cake I needed 6 of those cookies. Then so Brad did not feel left out I had to get a cheery empanada. The total was a lot less than I thought it should have been. I doubled my order to meet the minimum credit card usage amount. I recommend going in the morning. The afternoon crew was friendly, but did not know much about how to order a cake. So my cake from here never was ordered and I never received a call, but that's ok. I plan to go back in the morning. I was told the donuts are good too. The cookies were delicious. Warmed up nicely and smelled heavenly. Brad was also impressed with the cherry empanada. I hope to order a cake some day soon and write a review for that too! read more

Very nice little place. Limited parking but just to the east of their building is a small shopping mall with plenty of parking leaving you a very short walk. We always order fresh bread or rolls from here to take to family functions. If you order far enough ahead they will make white or whole wheat dinner rolls. Take some extra money and allow some extra time because while you're waiting you'll want to pick up some sweets from the display case. everything is fresh and wonderful. read more

Absolutely delicious! We call in our order 2 days before we drive to Las Lunas, about once a month. We buy our 2 dozen donuts, and pastelitos. Come home eat a couple of donuts and freeze the rest. When we get a craving for a donut we take out a couple donuts to enjoy. Every time a new donut/pastry shop opens up in Albuquerque, we try it out, but nope, nothing in Abq. compares to the delicious donuts from Manny's Fine Pastries. It is worth the drive. The doughnuts and sweets are typically delicious but in my most recent visit I must say Mari (sorry if it's spelled incorrectly) was very cruel and rude. I purchased an apple fritter and upon taking it to my grandmother came to find mold on the bottom of it. So politely my grandmother took it back and showed Mari and she was very rude and UNPROFESSIONAL telling my grandmother "We don't do that SHIT here, you should know" and "It's because the people washing the trays don't wash them right"... Ok fine but still that's in your place of business that person washing the trays works for you, Right? I just feel the situation could have been handled better she could have simply said I'm sorry here let me get you a refund or a new one. There was no need for her to go off as she did. Also when I called after she still had such an ugly rude tone. If you hate your job find something new because I know a ton of elderly people go there and if they are being treated that way I'd be heartbroken. read more
