Butter Chicken Lamb Curry Garlic Naan
    Kevin He Zhong Q.

Some of the best dine in Indian foods in the area. Located in a small strip mall close to major intersections, plenty of parking. I used to come here all the time when they had lunch buffets and today the staff notified me they will no longer be having buffets. Nonetheless we sat for lunch today because the food is that good. Food We ordered butter chicken, lamb curry, garlic naan and side of rice. They also provided some chips with a sweet chutney and seems like spicy cilantro chutney. The green chutney is my favorite because it's got a nice salty and spicy kick. I think the spice level here is catered to the locals that come here, it's more mild than traditional Indian cuisine. We got medium spice level and there wasn't much heat. Butter chicken was thick and creamy with some nice acidity from tomatoes, chicken pieces were a nice bite size. Lamb curry was smoky and had a nice deep herb flavor. Garlic naan is a must order when you get these saucy dishes to dip in or you can toss it with the rice. Two servers today and they were both very friendly. Came to check on us a few times and refill our waters without asking. Definitely not as busy these days I assume from discontinuing the lunch buffet. There were probably 4-5 tables dining in while we were there.

    Tandoori Chicken - Half

We should order takeout and dined in today. Food was extra good! I really enjoyed the hot plate for the tandoori chicken that cooked the onions nice. The lentils were recommended and really excellent flavor. We had must haves of garlic naan and butter chicken as well. So good!

I've lived in the area for most of my life, but I never would've thought to stop by this plaza for indian food. I only discovered this place as a Michelin Bib Gourmand place of interest. So I took my parents here and we weren't disappointed. You would think that such a normal looking entrance you wouldn't expect the interior to differ that much right? Work was done to make the interior a lot more of a modern indian aesthetic I feel. The place looks clean and more upscale than I thought. Now for the food review, we did not go during their buffet time and here's what we got: Chicken Tikka Masala: Normally I order tikka masala to gauge a restaurant's cooking. This didn't disappoint. The sauce was soo good I used the rest of my rice to finish up the sauce. It would be a waste to not eat it all. For medium spicy, I think it's perfect. For folks sensitive to spice, I would probably do mild. Fish Curry: We personally didn't like the fish as much, even with the curry, the fish still had some of the fishy smell, and it wasn't as fresh as I expected it to be. upon biting into it the meat wasn't flaky. I would probably stick to chicken/beef/lamb going forward. Garlic Naan: Solid for $2.5/naan, solid choice accompanying the dishes we ordered. The Garlic was fresh and I think they accentuated it with garlic oil as well. Tandoori Roti: for $1.95, it'd say it's pretty good, I might be more used to naan texture for my curries but it's also pretty good too. aromatic basmati rice: fragrant and fresh basmati rice. I think $6 is reasonable for most places in LA nowadays. I probably would've wanted a bit more per order. The staff was very professional and cordial with us, they even refilled our waters before we asked and swapped out our plates before the entrees came, which i didn't see often I feel. One thing that did just bother me was the take out menus being the normal menus. If we wanted to keep one as options on what to eat, I'd like a new menu if possible, free from whatever sauces touched them before. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the food enough to bring our relatives the next time as well!

Lots of options without onion and garlic! We had the shahi paneer and malai kofta w chili naan. Chili naan has a kick to it but we enjoyed it! My husband enjoyed the complimentary papad at the start. The mango lassi was also excellent. The curries felt a bit too heavy on the cream but we still enjoyed it overall. Paneer was soft.

This place is absolutely amazing!! Great place for large groups, by yourself, or catering. The food was so flavorful and delicious and you can tell they take their time preparing the food. The owner was super nice as well as our server, would definitely come or order out again!!!

Michelin Star for a reason! I would have never in a million years stopped at this place from the outside...but you know the saying, don't judge a book by its cover! A friend treated me to lunch here and I will continue to come back to TRY EVERYTHING!!! The food was more than amazing! The workers were soooo kind! I will continue to tell all my friends and family about this place and support this business!

Sticker not peeled off from the supermarket. GROSS

Was going to rate 5/5 because service was great and the place felt clean. The place was spacious and had lively Playlist. Price was fair. I asked if rice was included with the tikka masala and was told yes but then I saw a 5.95 charge for rice. The tikka masala was delicious and flavorful! The garlic Nan was also really good. Portion was great too! The main reason why I have to drop my score is because I had my left over togo and when I reheated everything, I almost ate a piece of green bell pepper with the original sticker label which made me second guess the cleanliness in the kitchen and how food are prepped. Guys, everything was splendid and phenomenal, but leaving stickers on vegetables can scare customers away... please be fore careful... I really almost ate this.

The lunch buffet is back. We have not been here for a while and so my son and i decided to come by. This is; after all, one of our Top 3 lunch places. We were sad when the pandemic ended the buffet but we still came by and ordered but today we were surprised that the buffet was back. The offerings were all so good. The buffet allows you to try all the varieties and they were all so good but you COME HERE for the butter chicken. With the sauce over your rice; oh man, so delicious. The staff is awesome, they make you feel at home and inside it is always nicely decorated. So good.

Buffet is back! Really can't beat a $15.99 lunch buffet. Value is insane! Comes with garlic or plain naan and free soda or tea. Buffet included vegetarian samosas, paneer, rice, butter chicken, another chicken curry, tandoori chicken, veggie salad, mint chutney, raita, and other sides and desserts. Everything was yummy, but the stars were the butter chicken, tandoori, and naan. So flavorful and tender.

Came 5/10/2026 for their Mother's Day brunch . it was amazing just like I remember it. This was the best Mother's Day gift I received. I have not had their buffet since 2020 thank you for making us MOM's feel special.

If you're craving high-quality Indian food and realize there aren't many options nearby, Manohar's Delhi Palace is a total find right off the 60 in La Puente. The outside might look simple, but once you walk in, the place is incredibly clean, spacious, and inviting. The staff is truly exceptional--they are so warm and attentive that you feel like a guest in their home rather than just a customer. The Chicken Tikka Masala is fantastic, and the Tandoori Chicken comes out sizzling and perfect, but the menu is actually full of other great dishes that are just as good. With amazing service and plenty of parking, this is definitely going to be your new favorite spot. Go check them out soon!

With the cost of groceries, gas, and dining out continuing to climb, people are looking for a place where they can get a good meal without spending a fortune. This place fits the bill. If you come before 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, lunch is around $15. That's about what you'd spend on a burger, fries, and a drink at some fast-food chains these days, except here you get an entire buffet with plenty of choices. The salad bar is well stocked and includes fresh fruit. They also have sushi rolls and nigiri. Is it sushi restaurant quality? No. But considering that one specialty roll at a sushi restaurant can cost $12-$16 by itself, it's a nice bonus. My favorite item is fried chicken. It's crispy, flavorful, and consistently juicy. I would gladly pay the lunch price just for the chicken. They also serve a very good pot roast, meaty pork ribs, and on Fridays they have a surprisingly good rib roast. Those are just a few of the highlights because there are plenty of other dishes to choose from. As for the staff, most of the employees appear to be young and may be working their first job. The cooks aren't trying to be gourmet chefs, they focus on preparing the buffet items well, and overall, they do a good job keeping the food coming despite how busy the restaurant gets. If you're looking for a fine dining experience prepared by professionally trained chefs, this probably isn't the place for you. But if your goal is to enjoy a wide variety of good food at a price that's hard to beat in today's economy, this buffet is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a crowd, that's usually a sign they're doing something right.

We did have to wait in line before getting seated. The wait wasn't too long for our party of 7 as it took maybe 15 min or so. The food was okay. It's what you would expect from an AYCE buffet like this. It's maybe on par with the likes of Golden Corral or Hometown Buffet (from back in the day). The highlight things to eat may be the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ where you load up your bowl with veggies, protein (chicken, pork, shrimp, beef, etc), noodles, and seasonings. Hand it over to the staff cook and they hand you a pager to notify you when done. The other food highlight may be the Japanese sushi area. While not the highest quality of ingredients, it was still decent for the price of the buffet and the fact that there's a staff member making the sushi rolls consistently rather than just leaving a bunch out in a tray to get old and dry. Definitely might be an even better deal as a lunch AYCE option. But for dinner it's still nice to go to.

We came around 5pm, so we were quickly seated with only a handful of tables occupied. We ordered our drinks and made our way around the location to figure out what they had. They had ice cream and boba tea in the back corner, then came the dim sum options, hot foods, items for the grill, sushi, desserts with a chocolate fountain, and a mixture of cold items, such as fruits, seafood, and more desserts. Right away I got a plate of snow crabs and noticed the seafood boil the had shrimp and corn, so I got one of that as well the clams and some pieces of sushi. The crab legs were easy to open though I did have my husband request for crab cracker to help me with the harder pieces. I definitely preferred dipping the crab meat into the seafood boil sauce than the melted butter they had. The clams were pretty good as well, so I made sure to get a second round of them with the snow crabs. I did dabble in trying other foods, but preferred my seafood combo that I got. Once I had my fill with savory, I tackled the sweets and buffets are always fun to try new desserts but overall my fave was just good ol' pistachio almond ice cream with my milk tea. The service was just okay, but what really bothered me was being charged $17 for my daughter, who is only 2 years old. She barely ate anything, just about two pieces of watermelon and a small bite of concha bread. For that amount of food, I found the $17 charge completely unreasonable. When I questioned the charge, the waiter explained that because the food was put on her plate rather than being fed to her directly by us, they considered her to have eaten from the buffet and charged the full $17. He also mentioned that management is watching the cameras to determine whether children are eating from the buffet. Honestly, I find this policy excessive. I understand that buffets need rules to prevent people from sharing food or taking advantage of the system, but charging $17 for a 2 year old who ate practically nothing seems unreasonable. There should be some sort of reduced price or reasonable policy for toddlers, especially when they consume such a small amount of food. The food may be worth trying, but because of this experience and the way the situation was handled, I would think twice before returning. A $17 charge for what my 2-year-old actually ate felt ridiculous and left a very negative impression

We had heard that Happy AYCE had reopened, so we decided to check it out. Walking into the…read morerestaurant around 3:10pm, there was 1 party there. After they left, we were the only party there. It wasn't as busy as it used to be to be. After looking at their menu online, we saw that the lunch price ended at 3:30pm, so we got there before that time. When we were there, we were handed a new menu where lunch is from 11:00-3:00pm and dinner from 4:00-11:00pm. We were asked to pay the dinner price, The waiter just said his manager told him to tell everyone that, but the menu doesn't state the price between 3:00-4:00pm. The online menu also needs to be updated. As for the food, the hot food selection has gone downhill. Not as much variety as before. Mostly fried foods, not as much greens as before. The dessert selection was only oranges and a jello dessert. The meat was sliced super thin, so it wasn't chewy. I would say the service was just ok. One waiter was catering to us, but he was also busy doing other things in the kitchen. Would I come back here again, probably not. I just feel like everything should be transparent, so the trust is there.

I have been to a few Golden Corral locations. This one seems to be the best one. We go here once in…read morea while. We also go here when we have a bday coupon. The coupon required a purchase of one buffet in order to redeem the free buffet. Like a bogo thing... When my mom first introduced me to Golden Corral, we fell in love with their fresh breads & butter. The buffet was still the same like years ago, however, the breads and butter ain't the same. Also, they upgraded a bit with the option to add lobsters. Don't get excited. It ain't ayce lobstaaa lol The buffet offered a salad bar, soups, steaks, Mac & cheese, grilled & fried chickens, pizzas, desserts bar and etc. With the bogo, it was totally worth it. Drinks weren't included in the price. However, you do get unlimited refills and coffees with the drink purchase. Service was always great. Never had a problem. Cleanliness ...not the cleanest, but tolerable

Every dish was either way too salty, way too sweet, or both, bland, offputting or both. Looking at the meatloaf and everything else I just thought depression food. The food tasted awful overall including the soft serve. Filled with sugar and sodium or just yeah felt pretty gross after even though I didn't end up eating much, only trying a bit of a variety of dishes. But yeah an affordable buffet filled with sugar and salt in a country where healthcare isn't cheap. Yikes. Even the roll was chewy or rubbery which was interesting. So yeah if you have at minimum an average human taste buds developed this place is not for you.

We…read morehave tried all the locations and this one in West Covina, we find particularly less hectic and parking is not an issue. Note: the place is a bit small so plan accordingly if you plan on dining in... Pro-tip: get some food and tailgate in your car! Oh, and dont forget to dunk your skewers in their spiced vinegar and house sauce! How to order: Get a tray and pick the skewer(s) you want to eat. Bring your items to the cashier counter and pay. They can grill the sticks for you or you can take them as is and grill them at home. Our favorites: Chicken isaw Pork tenga Pork bbq sticks Tokwa't baboy + gotto Melon juice Sago't gulaman Pork isaw Kare-kare They servers are super friendly and we always feel "at home." Nothing beats filipino hospitality and the nostalgia of being back in the Philippines!

We decided to go to West Covina location because we know the Los Angeles location would be very difficult for parking. Even though West Covina does not do the grill your own which is what our visitors have done before, it was still the better choice between traffic and parking. The difference between the two locations also is West Covina has other food items, such as pancit, diniguan, Chicharron bulaklak, lechon kawali, Balut, some desserts and quite a bit more, compared to Temple location is just the skewered meats. So you give up the fun of cooking it yourself for a diverse menu. I too, like the ability of cooking your own skewers. It's a fun experience and a you can have great conversations with people at the grill. I would return again, however one of the other disappointments is that the name is still Dollar Hits, but the price is now $1.75 per skewer which can add up very quickly if you let your eyes do the picking.

This time, we tried this place again and it's better! The food is still similar to all other buffets, but I think I prefer this place's chicken wings, baked mussels, bbq ribs, and beef stir fry. It is similar price range as other buffets ($20) and drinks are paid separate as usual. Refillable fountain drinks if you prefer but having water works too. The sushi is a hit or miss, I had great sushi rolls but other days it might have been sitting for too long. They refill their trays as food is getting less and I like that there's someone around to ask when they will bring a fresh batch. The tables are numbered so it's easy to know where we sit and where we have to go if it gets busy. Utensils are all plastic or one time use, no more checking if the forks are clean! The plates and bowls are still the reusable ones which is what I prefer for getting food. They have a popcorn machine (also a hit or miss in taste and freshness). For food: The crab legs are served cold and their butter is super yellow (it's most likely butter flavored oil). Bbq Ribs are good, served in single ribs, nice bbq flavor. Chicken skewers are still tender and flavorful, will keep having these! Chicken wings (fresh) are soooo juicy and crispy! They have chicken tenders but I didn't try them. No crab Rangoon or sesame balls unfortunately. Baked mussels taste just the same, great creamy sauce on chewy mussels. Coconut shrimp is fried with sweet creamy mayo sauce, it doesn't have coconut shredding so I love it. Beef stirfry is actually great, it had peppers and mushrooms, but the beef is tender (sometimes not so hit or miss). Ice cream is self serve scooped, they have a sign that it's $2.50 if anyone plans to take ice cream to go. Restrooms are clean when we went, I know during peak hours the restrooms can be a bit gross... Overall I'm glad we came back! Might come back more and hope the experience is good again!

Refill and napkins came as soon as we asked. The Mongolian BBQ was cool, I didn't like it because I got stir fried udon. I should have just gone with the basic egg noodles. We came with a pretty big party, and still the service was very good. Best bang for your buck with top tier service. Good vibe.
