Ordered the Panang curry with veggies. Flavor is good. I asked for medium and received medium. The veggies seem fresh, but the actual Penang sauce is very watered down. That's the only downside. They had great flavor and were cooked just right. Given some of the one-star reviews I read, I reserved judgment until the rest of the food arrived. Next came the cashew nut chicken, and it was an impressive portion. The chicken breast was thinly sliced, tender, well-seasoned, and absolutely packed with flavor. At this point, my taste buds were in awe. Then the drunken noodles hit the table. Before I even took a bite, I could smell the smokiness from the wok. The noodles were cooked perfectly and balanced beautifully with basil, carrots, green onions, and other fresh ingredients. The flavors were outstanding. As we were finishing our meal, a young woman stopped by our table to ask how everything was. We learned she was the chef, and the server was her husband. This truly is a mom-and-pop restaurant--run by a couple who clearly take pride in the food they serve. Sometimes when we order food to be delivered and or take out we miss the full experience. The complimentary cabbage soup recipe has changed from a chicken broth to a tomato broth with lots of flavor. The lunch special salad now comes on the plate with your entrée, rather than being served on a separate plate along with the soup. For lunch entrées, we tried the Drunken Noodle with Shrimp ($14.95) which was full of flavor...excellent! My wife had the Vegetable Delight with Chicken ($13.95) which she thought needed a little more seasoning, so she added quite a bit of hot sauce. Portion sizes are generous and soda refills are free. Unfortunately this is my first and last time. Decor is cute with dog photo art work, our server checked with us and asked for our feedback on our meal, but food is below expectation. It was not that busy for weekend lunch it still took a long time waiting for our food, not sure why could the kitchen be overwhelmed? Curry lacked flavor no spice. Beef salad lacked flavor, the meat lacked grilled taste and it was not tender. Chicken satay was not on skewers I took a bite and had to spit it out as it was undercooked and still rare I sent it back and requested a refund on this dish. Shortly after lunch I had to run to find restrooms for my diarrhea. Not sure if it was from the undercooked chicken satay or cross food contamination from the salad. Unfortunately I've had better Thai food elsewhere. Edited update: one less star. The food did not look anything like the photos on Yelp. Satay skewers on sticks, beef salad the meat is nicely grilled with seasoning. Not sure what happened today was the chef not in and the kitchen crew had to improvise? Owner has commented but failed to acknowledge food safety issue with undercooked chicken which can be a cause of concern for E. coli and salmonella. This caused my bout of diarrhea. Perhaps food inspector needs to pay a visit to ensure food safety. Diners beware eat at your own risk. read more

Located at the corner of a strip mall parking is ample and easy. I had high hopes for this place because of thr reviews and the popularity. We started off with the Baby Elephant Platter because we wanted to try all the appetizers and it was definitely a good choice. The highlight of the platter is the peanut sauce that goes with the grilled chicken which made everything savory. The Rad Na noodles were great but the Chinese Broccoli was old and bitter which unfortunately detracted from the overall dish. Lastly the pineapple fried rice featured more than the expected amount of meat which is a welcomed in this current economic climate. This place is wonderful. I love the vibe when you walk in. Faux brick and plants with a really cool tiny fish tank. I don't have much experience with Thai food but they made me feel very comfortable and I learned a lot. I had the drunken chicken noodles at a medium heat and it was wonderful and very comforting. The star for me though was the Tom Kha (coconut chicken soup). Absolutely incredible broth that just sang in my mouth. My wife doesn't do asian food and she ordered broccoli beef and was very happy. They have several traditional Chinese food options as well for this who prefer that. I loved trying g the traditional Thai dishes. And the staff was incredibly accomodating about spice level and even making the dishes weight watchers friendly. Great staff great food. Great place. Don't miss this!
