I completely understand that some dogs need extra care, but it was made to seem like it was a huge issue that he might need assistance, as if dogs don't commonly have anxiety or past trauma. I was also repeatedly asked if I was sure I wanted to book, even after explaining multiple times that I just needed a simple wash and trim because grooming him at home has been difficult. It started to feel like I was being talked out of booking rather than helped. After that call, I ended up booking somewhere else that he's been to before, and they took him in with no hesitation and were very understanding about his anxiety. The difference in how I was treated was very clear. Because of this experience, I just wanted to share this feedback in hopes that future customers are spoken to with more understanding and reassurance.

We took a chance with this place, heads up you will need to sign up on the app first, have the rabies decal and vaccinations ready to upload on the app before you can get an appointment. Somehow the person who took care of our cat was able to shave her, wash her, trim nails. We had to be called to come get her earlier than expected because she was hyperventilating. This tells me they took her health seriously and the situation and they were successfully able to shave her all over and bathe her to get her to a better healthy situation. I hate that they had to go through that with my cat but very grateful for their help. The package came out to around 75-85$.

For over 10 years, we've always taken our dogs to a big-name grooming facility. But after this experience, we'll never go back. We found Morgan, and she is absolutely wonderful. She greeted our pups so kindly and made them feel completely comfortable before we even left. In the past, our pups would be at the groomer all day -- from opening until after closing -- and I'd still have to do a few touch-ups at home. Morgan had them done in just four hours, and they looked (and smelled!) amazing. Perfectly groomed, happy, and relaxed -- I think even they noticed how good they looked! When it was someone else, he didn't look primped and as clean-cut has he has in the past. I started shopping around and found this new groomer "The Fuzzy Dawg" in Alpharetta (Holcomb Bridge Rd. and Barnwell, very close to Norcross). I called to get an appointment over a weekend, and they were booked up (that's a good sign for a new groomer, when I'm trying to make an appointment at the last minute!). I made an appointment for a day during the week the following week. I took him in and was impressed with how clean the store was! I was greeted immediately with "Hi there, Is this Tyler?" The groomer, Stephanie, took a break from the Chow she was grooming to come over and ask me some questions about how I wanted him groomed. I filled out my paperwork as a new client, and they took him in the back and started lathering him up. I asked if they could groom him without a bath (since he's good about getting a bath at home, and I love the smell of my soap that I use at home). They said it's hard to get a good clean cut if he's not bathed, so I asked if I could bring in my own soap next time around - and they said "Absolutely!" They said it would be about 3 hours, and they would call me when he was ready for pick up. They called me about 2 hours later, and he was ready to go! I picked him up and he looked EXCELLENT! Kudos to Stephanie for a great doggy-haircut for Tyler! He is a sheltie mix, and rang in at $47, a little more than my old groomer, but they did a nice job, so it's worth it. Especially since it included a bath. I will definitely be back to the Fuzzy Dawg!

Scheduled my appointment with her spoke with her on the phone, spoke with her via text and all the times I communicated with her I mentioned numerous of times about matting and how badly matted my dog was due to me just having a baby we had to hold off on the groomers expense. I stated this to her and she mentioned she would be able to demat him no problem. Never asked for pictures never communicated that it could be a possibility that she wouldn't be able to do it. Etc. Instead, she secured my appointment and waited until the day of when I arrived to tell me that she wasn't going to be able to demat him due to liability concerns. I feel like it was a load of crap because she waited until the day of the appointment, have me drive all the way to her just for her to tell me she won't be able to do it. I reached out to her via text because thats how we've been communicating and I stated my concerns to her regarding how I felt as a client and she didn't respond which says enough to me. I sent Hachii to his vet and other groomers and no one had an issue with grooming him, it was finding a groomer with a reasonable price, which we were able to do, by the way. And Hachii is doing fabulous and looks so good and we're so happy to have him back in good condition. Just wish she would of told me to send pictures in prior to his appointment of his condition before having me drive all the way to her just to turn me away.

So pretty much, pathetic business practices and apparently all about the money that they can lay their hands on. Thank God I didn't bother with them. Much better and more responsive groomers (and mobile groomers) available around the area! They look like they can only deal with small, yapping dogs.
