Awesome hole in the wall sandwich spot. Always packed but I can see why. All the sandwiches I've had from there are great and easily the best spot for a sandwich in town. I'd recommend The Godfather or the Buffalo chicken cutlet. Both are amazing and great quality. Quick and easy to order and wait is usually no more than 5 minutes. Only reason not a 5 start is cause their is limited seating and the parking situation can also be difficult. Nevertheless, great spot. read more

You'll be hard pressed to find a better deli than this one! I've had the majority of the different type of sandwiches here and each one is incredible. What's even better is you are given a slice of their unbelievable pickles and the choice of macaroni or potato salad. It's as though a big city deli has been dropped in the center of Mansfield. Easily missed from the outside, but once inside you will find an array of delicious sandwich choices made on the spot. The only side I have tried is the macaroni salad because it is so good that I can't imagine not ordering it but I'm the sure the other sides are just as delicious. Unreal. Best sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. I'm not over exaggerating. You have to try it to believe it. Everything is made fresh with boars head meat and cheese. Friendly atmosphere. When you order a meal it also comes with a side of macaroni or potato salad and a pickle. My meal came to $6.71. You know its good when the taste outweighs the cost. Excellent and filling Italian sub with fresh mozz that comes with a pickle and choice of side salad (I went with potato) all for around $8-9. You could easily split one of these subs with someone. There are a bunch of options to choose from so it would take you a while to work through the menu and there are even picnic tables in the parking lot for immediate gratification. Huge menu, very friendly and helpful staff, nice clean place with bar stool/countertop seating inside and picnic tables out back with a large parking area. All sandwiches come with either cole slaw, potato or macaroni salad and a 1/4 half sour pickle. The sandwiches were excellent, fairly priced and very tasty. A truly hidden gem. A great little deli! This place is the local Boar's Head brand deli and all their sandwiches live up to the quality of the ingredients they use. Everything is fresh and made to order. The big secret here is the breakfast. While their lunch sandwiches are great, they are a bit pricey ($10-$11 by the time you get a bag of chips and a soda), the breakfast is the best in town - and cheap! Why spend $4 on a microwaved DD breakfast sandwich when you can have a fresh, made-to-order breakfast sandwich right down the street, for the same price? read more

Friendly, helpful staff and DELICIOUS food. I stopped by Mansfield Variety & Deli based off local reviews. The staff was helpful in finding me some spicy sandwich options; they have tons of combinations. I ended up creating my own sandwich: spicy turkey, salami, colby pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo on a braided roll. Hearty, tasty sandwich which also came with a side of potato salad (you can also choose mac salad or coleslaw). The people and environment inside the deli made me feel right at home. I only recently discovered them; I just moved to the area and one morning after the move my mother brought us breakfast from here, it was delicious so I thought I would try them for sandwiches after reading the menu she brought along. First off, they use Boars Head meats; I am a cold cut snob and only eat Boars Head or higher quality deli meats served at places like Sam LaGrassas. Their by the pound cold cut prices are even cheaper than the supermarket. So far I have tried their Mt. Everroast (recenrtly featured special but they made it for me outside of when it was being offered) and the Trump Tower and both were very good but there are many on the menu I want to try. They were friendly; the girl who normally works the register is nice. read more

I've tried to get every sandwich on the menu, but I have failed. The food is pretty good, and the service is amazing. My only complaint is that they seem to forget to put the bacon on the delicious chicken more often than not, almost as if it is intentional. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious! Really great sandwiches and definitely well known by the locals. Prepare to wait if you go during lunch but it is totally worth it. The staff knows how to handle the wait and most of the patrons are used to the wait so there aren't many people agitated with the wait. Ever since I can remember, I'd walk to deli after school and get a bumble bee with mac salad. It is the most yummy sandwich on the planet. They don't skimp on the meat so for someone like me, I eat half for lunch and half for dinner. The staff is super accommodating both in-store and for catering.
