Had lunch here and this place is great. Food is so flavourful that you feel like you should have been charged more. The employees were all very nice and very helpful on questions we had. The place is like a hole in the wall that you would be glad you found. The buffet is great and there food is so satisfying that you don't have to get up for seconds. I've been coming here for the past few years since I was a young lad. The place has really good tomato soup be careful though because it is really spicy if your not used to it I personally enjoy it. The lamb here is good and I got the chicken rice Its called the verani rice it's really good. I also get the shrimp plate which is really good everything here is very flavorful and spicy its awesome. Please read. Rude service form the woman up front. Made us wait 2 hours for a regular pick up order. Called at 7:15 pm to place an order over the phone, they said it would be ready in 30 min. Getting there at 7:45 pm the food was not ready nor did they have our order at all. They accused us of calling another location which is not true. I called up Mantra Corona to order, a Hispanic lady answered the phone. After giving her the order for samosa, paneer masala, kofta curry I asked her if she could recommend a third curry and she was so rude said the menu is online go check and hung up. I called up again and placed the order and added tofu masala too. When we got the curries they all had the same cream based orange gravy what a disappointment and 3 curries looked and tasted the same. I wish the lady was little courteous and had suggested something that would have been little different in taste and look, no efforts to help the customer. Recently catered our Chinese/Indian fusion wedding this past October 2018. First of all, the owner Sumit is a pleasure to work with. He is responsive, accommodating and just an all around great person. He helped us design our menu for our Indian as well as non-Indian guests, with helpful suggestions and tips. Our guests raved about the food. I had at least 3-4 people come up to me and my new husband at our reception to tell us how delicious the food was. Some of our guests went back for seconds and thirds it was so yummy! They were also on time to the event, professional and the food was displayed beautifully. As someone of south asian descent, I know good Indian food and Mantra is it. Their restaurant food is also amazing. Certainly this is the best Indian restaurant in Corona (not hard to do, the only other one in town is godawful and i. m.h. o. the health authorities ought to take an interest in it). But it could be a LOT better than it is. Some of their recipes (such as the Lamb Shahi Korma) are disappointingly bland (I do NOT mean they aren't hot enough, I mean their flavors aren't complex enough to be interesting). And a lot of their meat and chicken dishes are served with the protein unnaturally hard to chew because they are in such a hurry to get the food out the door that they don't simmer them nearly long enough.
