They constructed an adapter sleeve to accomodate the more compact unit (shorter unit). They replaced the B-vent exhaust pipe as it had some rust on it (although was not rusted through). They wired up a new, touchscreen thermostat, an upgrade to the 46-year old unit that was a mechanical thermostat with a vertical toggle for the temperature setting.
