None of this makes any sense. There are two great food trucks tucked away in an industrial park off Empire home to Van Henion Brewery. Neither food trucks are visible from the street. Manzanita Grill's road flag is the only indication that there's delicious food around the corner. And trust me when I say the food at Manzanita is delicious because it was. Anchored by the Van Henion bar/tap room, Manzanita Grill offers Mexican fusion at reasonable prices. I got a breakfast burrito and my wife got a specialty burrito. We shared a stuff popper appetizer which was a meal on its own. The poppers come with a dipping sauce that was rich and flavorful. The lady helping us was very patient while we were deciding and brought the food to our table. Definitely worth a return trip.

This food truck is at Ballers and Brews. Have wanted try this place for a while since it has received great reviews in the past. My wife had the burrito bowl which she really liked. Said the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. I had the brisket sandwich and fries. While the brisket was tender, it didn't have a lot of flavor and the bun couldn't hold up to it. It pretty much disintegrated soon after I received the meal. The fries were seasoned well but are still precut frozen. The service provided was very friendly and timely. Not sure if this is a second truck or if it moved from Van Henion to Ballers and Brews. The menu appears different from what I noticed in previous photos on Yelp. You can eat indoors at the "tap house." I won't be in a hurry to come back especially given the lousy parking situation.

Thank god for a good BBQ truck near my house and putting to shame the one at ON tap. Keep up the great work and thanks for existing. I own two bbqs and still would prefer this truck.

Everything i have tried here is amazing, they have a Ruben on the secret menu that is the bomb

Bbq chicken, Nashville chicken, pulled pork and pastrami Reuben. Fries and coleslaw.

Nashville chicken slider was one of the best I've had. And my husband LOVED the pastrami Reuben. The coleslaw was super fresh and crunchy and the fries weren't soggy and seasoned perfectly.

Manzanita seems to be an undiscovered wonder of Bend. Foodies know about it as do local workers. But being tucked away in the Humm parking lot, it probably doesn't get a lot of notice beyond that. It should. Good food, friendly folks. - Texas spicy chicken sandwich: very large and very delicious. Not terribly spicy - this is not a Nashville chicken sandwich - but it's a worthy contender in the chicken sandwich competition. - coleslaw: creamy with a dusting of spice on top. Solid example of he breed. Recommended.

The Peach Pit. I knew my wife and friends were going out to dinner in a few days . I made sure we were going to eat at the WIch Doctor. My wife and friend Cheri are both vegetarian. They both tried the TLC. Farm tomatoes and mixed greens, house mayo, smoked crunchy salt, tillamook smoked cheddar crusted sparrow bakery sliced sourdough. My wife and friend Cheri are vegetarian. They both could not believe that the sandwich tasted like a BLT. Brenda ( co-owner) said the combination of the smokey salt and smokey cheese make a bacon flavor. They both loved their sandwiches. MY friend Dave had the Peach Pit. He had the same feeling as when I had that sandwich the other day. OUTSTANDING. I wanted to try Cedar Street . Roasted tri-tip, irish cheddar, obsidian stout worcestershire shallot jam, house mayo, arugula, toasted one loaf bend bakery sourdough ciabatta. This upscale Cheesestake sandwich was terrific. The best tri- tip I've ever eaten. After eating I had to tell "Chef" Cody ( co-owner) he was batting 2 for 2 on my visits to " Wich Doctor". Both Brenda and Cody are great at what they have put together. Great food and friendly , informative service.

I've tried a few different tri-tip sandwiches in bend recently and this one might be my favorite (don't come for me!). The staff are really nice too! In case you haven't been to this area, it's a food truck that is part of an outdoor pavilion area. Super fun spot to check out if you're with a group. I'll be back!

tl;dr great food, tell them about all your allergies so they can modify, get gluten free pastries!…read more A tasty option for brunch or dinner with several clearly marked gluten free items. You can also customize your meal as needed. To order, you stand in line like at a food court counter, but in a fancy way. While we were there, the line stretched to the door most of the time but it moves fast. This is the time you use to choose your bottle of wine, pick food, and browse the pastries on display. There were several places to sit indoors and out after placing the order. The kids hade the garlic bites (fried balls of bread with garlic and cheese...looked like doughnut holes!) and a pizza. They can add pepperoni to a cheese pizza for the particular children in your life. My husband and I shared a Cobb salad, no croutons to make it gf (the lemon dill dressing was AMAZING! Actually, this whole salad was very good). We also intended to share the NY strip with chimichurri. However, we didn't read that it comes with bread and a side salad (great!) and roasted vegetables in romesco sauce (also great!). My husband is allergic to nuts and so he couldn't eat any. That is not a complaint...all on us! The menu is clearly marked. But be aware if you have a nut allergy to specify that you can't have the romesco sauce. Or let the order taker know, as they are informed on modifications and whatnot. So he ate the salad and done pizza. I ate most of the steak and veggies. Everything tasted really good. The steak was a bit gristly. But the chimichurri was great. My absolute favorite thing was the elote cake with tajin buttercream. It was not a sweet cake. But it was heavenly. I should have grabbed another piece before we left. It was creative and salty and delicious and I still want it two days later. Service was great. Food is brought out as it's ready, not all at once. And the side salad and bread is brought before the main dish. The people were friendly and helpful. This was a great place and I would definitely go back.
