Delicious, amazing portions. Super busy, they should consider raising prices to better reflect the amount of food you are served.

I went to lunch with my coworkers. We only had an hour to eat so we were on a time crunch. Our waiter had about 6 or more tables and it too him forever to get our orders. Once he did he said he would put a rush on them. We did get our meals pretty fast. I had the make your own omelette. It was full of grease they used too much butter or some type of oil. I also got home fries and a biscuit with my omelette. Those were both good I just will not get the omelette again. My coworker that also got eggs over easy said they were too greasy. Overall it was ok it's cute inside I liked the decor. I will probably be back since it's so close to my work. read more

Here's the deal. This place has fab food. Reminds me of hash house a go go. They are severely understaffed and have an odd way of bringing out drinks. Takes a very long time to just get water? Seems like an odd system. If you want service to be as good as the food, then pass but otherwise this is a very unique quality dining experience. And breakfast all day is major bonus!!! read more

It was good- I read all the reviews and I was super excited to make this our vacation breakfast- You do get a mountain of food- and we LOVE poutine. Unfortunately the fries we so salty. The chicken fried steak had some seasoning on the breading I can't name which wasn't bad but - I dunno The wait staff did seem very concerned with gossip weather than refills or needs- but it was a slow day so I can understand. First visit and last. I came with a large party of twenty. We told them ahead of time. They seemed bothered when we arrived. 20% of my party had food that was cold when arrived and it shouldn't have been. One member of the party asked to have his replaced and was told he will eat it. :-( Seriously!?? Overall, the food was very, very bland for a very very high price. My waitress was very pleasant I and gave her a big tip. The owner/manager was very rude. While yelling at my guest because she was not going to discount the meal, she spit on the remaining food my guest was eating bc she had her mask down. My guest said spit came out of your mouth and landed on my food. I don't want to pay for something you spit on and talked all over. Her response...wait for it...We don't wear masks in the back and talk over your food there, so what's the difference? (Exit stage left). I would highly recommend you keep your money elsewhere. When I see a BLT listed for $16, I'm expecting a real treat. The bread was soggy. The tomatoes and lettuce were fresh. The bacon was over cooked. They didn't drain it before assembling the sandwich so the entire sandwich just drips. And they charged me $3 for iced tea which came in a frigging 12oz to-go cup -- ridiculous. Took my Meetup Brunch group of 14 today with separate checks. Service was very good, and food was delicious and plentiful. I had the Bed and Breakfast Benedict with the potatoes and surprised myself by almost cleaning my plate. The biscuits were killer and the potatoes and poached eggs were cooked perfectly. I did take home the apple pastry and enjoyed it later in the day. It was so good! read more

I can honestly say it is one of the best places in a Plano....and knowing that we have some of the best restaurants in the state, that is serious businedd from a foodie like me! Maple Bacon, widen your booths, the fat boys are coming! You are now THE SPOT for chicken and waffles! (and EVERYTHING that comes with them. I don't even know where to begin. The staff: AWESOME! Our server was Avia (pronounced Ava) and she was AMAZING! She has the most beautiful smile and a physical presence that lights up the room! Avia, finding out that this was our first visit, walked us through the menu, offering suggestions and options for the different selections. We made our choices and even took some of her suggestions, and were so surprised by the speed of service as well as the portion sizes (huge!) NOW, the FOOD: ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!! How have I lived here for years and not heard of this place? The coffee (Segafredo) is outstanding! So we are off to a great start! They offer MANY variations of waffles, pancakes, French toast, Benedicts, omelettes, skillets and MORE! I won't even go into the salad and lunch menu this time because we never got that far. I went with the Southern Fried Chicken and Waffles with strawberries on the side and a side of toast for my eggs. My husband decided on the Texas Chicken and Bacon Waffles, but substituted French toast for the waffles, also with the strawberries on the side. What arrived at the table was way more food than we could or should eat! Each piled high with structural skewers, we had to de-construct the towers into a more manageable configuration. (They even supply extra plates to assist with this.) Overall, A WIN!!! We will be back (tomorrow in fact) now that we have been charmed by this GOLDMINE of value! Prices are reasonably low, especially given the portion sizes. Next time we know to order one breakfast to split and we will still not leave hungry. I mean, there' no way! Please do yourself a favor and make plans to eat here soon. (Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch only!) If you go on the weekend, 10:00 AM is the perfect time before the waits get long. Food was great but manager experience was HORRIBLE !!!!! So me and my spouse ( a retired veteran) go get brunch almost every morning and every where we go they honor his veterans ID card. Not active but VETERANS ID card. As we finished up our breakfast we provided our waiter with the debit and veterans ID card for discount. He returns to say his manager won't honor bc they only honor certain veterans cards. We then explained to him that it was a veterans card not active duty card he went back to his manger and she still would not honor it. By then we were fine paying full price . The manager proceeded to come over and start yelling at us that the United states government only issue two kinds of id's and his was not one. Who has time to make a fake a veterans ID card?? Holy hell! That croque monsieur was one of the best things I have put in my mouth. The apple turnover that was on top of it was good as well. I really enjoyed that breakfast. We were not happy with our recent visit. We were seated in the corner and it was hot! Then we were charged for cheese on the burger and for substituting pumpkin pancakes without being told of the up charges. Also one person in our party did not get her food and our waitress had no idea because she rarely came by to check on us. We were almost finished eating by the time she received her salad. Our waitress blamed it on the runner. I mentioned that we should not have to pay for her food because she received it so late. The manager gave us a measly $8 off of our $70 meal. Lastly, I asked for pumpkin pancakes without the pie on top, but it came with the pie anyway. We will not go there again. read more

Came in and immediately sat. We waited for over 10 minutes just to get any service, that we had to flag down someone. A group came in an sat down next to us and got a server within minutes. Great new place to grab breakfast in Plano. They have a lot to choose from on the menu and advertise that all pastries are made from scratch. The portions are good and prices are on the lower side. I had the 2 waffles, 2 eggs, and bacon for $8. Show up early... by 10am on Sunday they already started to develop a wait. read more

I am so Happy I decided to meet some friends and family for a small Birthday celebration. We had a really great time, enjoying the laughter and food, trying to be as safe as possible. I always have bad luck when trying to get a table for brunch at Shops of Willow Bend. Luckily I had found this place nearby and we had a nice brunch here. I was half expecting the restaurant being somewhat gastropub-ish in which it was but more on the casual side. My husband got two cocktails: mimosa and hummingbird (pina colada style mimosa), the first being good but the second being too sweet. We got a medium size poutine to start. It was our first time having it and we enjoyed it. We got the chicken fried steak waffle, which came with eggs, a tall stack of waffle, chicken fried steak strips, bacon and a donut, and a side of gravy. The presentation is great, but a bit hard to eat. Once you take everything apart is looks like a regular breakfast. Nevertheless, the food was really good. I loved the chicken fried steak especially with the gravy. The donut was excellent as well. I was full in the end, but couldn't help myself in looking at their dessert display case. I plan to get a sweet treat for the next visit. It was busy on the Sunday afternoon we went, but service was very nice and friendly.
