My son had a soccer game nearby and we stopped in. I had the chicken carnita skillet which was seasoned perfectly and taste delicious. Eggs over easy were cooked right. My son had the chicken chilaquiles which was crunchy and chicken was yummy. A big plus was our waitress checked up on us multiple times and even asked my son how his game went. Was excited for this place base on reviews but it seems we fell through the cracks for food and service.. Got sat and it took at least 15 to be acknowledged and that's because I waived someone down. Saw two large parties got up and their table get cleaned re-sat and greeted before we were even acknowledged. We were able to order with the busser, but when our food came out, we had no maple syrup and it took another 15 minutes to flag someone down to get some by that point the pancake was cold. One of us went with a bacon avocado Benedict and didn't have any bacon on it. We then asked for some and got cold bacon bits.. just over all not what we expected. Dropped by for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for brunch since we were in the area. Parking is easy and the ambiance is casual and cute. It was bustling! Lots of families. Service was outstanding - from our server to the other waitstaff to the hostess. Like a diner, you pay up front after you are done. Finally got to try this spot out and had a great experience. Upon arrival the spot was busy but the staff were very welcoming and nice. We had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table for a Saturday which is quick to me. Once seated we ordered a chicken carnitas skillet and hash stack. The skillet was perfectly seasoned and had great flavors. It also came with a stack of 2 pancakes which were phenomenal. They were large and tasted amazing! The hash stack was heavier for a meal but also seasoned nicely and tasted great! We also ordered a French combo which was perfectly done and not super sweet! The ambiance of the restaurant was busy for a Saturday but also seemed like food was coming out quickly and people were finishing their meals and able to make space for new customers quickly. pleasant solo date here. service is really quick and friendly. location is kind of small with ample seating and has a very cozy feel to it! really clean which is always something I note. the prices here are absolutely great, I know everything is expensive right now so I don't understand businesses having to up their prices but I got a skillet w pancakes and a mimosa for under $25!the portions are great. I took my pancake and probably more than half of my skillet with me for later. my only dislike was mg espresso martini, it tasted a bit watery and so I sent it back for the mango mimosa, win! will definitely return here to try more things! read more

The chicken fried chicken was moist, perfectly breaded without being greasy or heavy. Perhaps the best chicken fried chicken I have ever had. The meal came exactly as I requested - crispy hash browns, dry rye toast and gravy on the side. I always order this way, but don't usually get it this way! My husband ordered a breakfast bowl and was equally as pleased with his choice. Our server was Jessie, and we lucked out there too. She was accommodating and very pleasant. The food was absolutely amazing I had the Texas Scramble, pancakes, and bacon. The pancake was so fluffy and moist and I had the best Espresso Martini and hot coffee. I got to taste the Brioche French Toast with fresh berries which was also very fluffy, with a light crisp edge. All had the perfect seasoning and fresh fruits and vegetables they cooked with.
