I came across Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation Inc and spoke with Jim about their options on what to do with their beloved Skye. My mom selected the urn she wanted and the package for her paw print. She went today to pick up Skye's remains along with her paw print. To her surprise, they never made her paw print! My mom is completely beside herself. And I am feeling so guilty because I found these people. We have paw prints of all of dogs that have passed away. And now they don't have Skye's. The best part is, they asked her if she put her request in writing. Which she did, and she had proof of that. Not that anything could bring sweet Skye back, but offering a piece of jewelry for her ashes is less than accommodating. I would NEVER recommend this company. UPDATE: Before posting his reply Alan asked me to update or remove my review, but time got away from me. I do want to point out that his "version" is not necessarily the whole truth. As I stated before, when my mom arrived at their facility to retrieve Skye's remains...they neglected to do her paw print impression like she requested. Their immediate reaction was to offer her a piece of jewelry for her ashes. She denied that because she wanted to keep all her ashes together. They let her walk out all distraught. After some research we came upon your crematory and were happy with what we were reading about other people's experiences. We called that morning and spoke to Marisol who was very sympathetic, informative, and respectful. She gave us an appointment right away. We drove to them in Secaucus from Brooklyn and when we arrived Marisol met us at the door. She and Mariah were very polite, understanding, and accommodating. They took our Oreo and placed her on a bed surrounded by flowers and gave us some time alone to say our goodbyes. Marisol then waked us through the cremation process and showed us where it would be done and guaranteed us that it would only be Oreo's ashes that we would be receiving. We were given the opportunity to be present for Oreo's cremation. Ultimately Oreo's ashes were returned to us in less than 2 hours and were were able to bring her back home with us same day. They made this sad morning easier to get through. Along with Oreo's ashes we received a beautiful wooden box to keep her in with an engraved brass pate attached, a certificate allowing us to travel with her ashes, a wooden beaded bracelet, her paw print in clay with 2 gems attached, a stand for her paw print, a rose that lights up, and a notebook with the Rainbow Bridge poem on the cover. We were overwhelmed by all that we were given and the wonderful service that we were provided by Marisol and Mariah. We highly recommend Pet Rest in Peace to any loving pet owner.

I scheduled a visitation at 11 AM for my best friend of 12 1/2 years. After taking care of the payment and paperwork I was led to the visitation room, The moment I laid eyes on the deceased I turned and said that's not my dog to which I was met by that's not possible, I tapped my phone and said this is Eli that is not. I was left in the room with the unknown deceased dog until I went outside to collect myself. I was then told they were on the phone with the vet to figure out where Eli is. They finally said Eli was there but due to human error Eli was already cremated. I was supposed to see my best friend for the last time today, Instead I was traumatized for life and will never know who I actually brought home. I am disabled and unable to work Eli was my heart and world instead of seeing my best friend and kissing his head for the last time I will always question whether or not it was my baby I brought home. I would recommend them for these services. I am happy it was easy to insert the photo into his urn. I really didnt like the urn but its growing on me. We also received a paw print with the order. I wasn't too thrilled about it because they don't let you choose which paw. I wish I would have done it myself. It is nice none the less. I did get lucky cause its the paw I would have choose. But very good choices I would recommend them. The price was good as well. I would think it would be a little bigger the big since he was a maine coon.
