From the very first phone call, Dr. Fisse was incredibly professional, empathetic, and patient. This was an emergency situation, and she took the time to answer every call, text, and question we had before we made the difficult decision to let our beloved dog go. She never pressured us and made sure we fully understood the process from beginning to end. What meant the most to our family was how accommodating she was. Dr. Fisse worked around multiple schedules so that family members traveling from out of state and those working full-time could be present. She understood how important it was for us to be together and did everything she could to make that happen. During the visit, Dr. Fisse was gentle, loving, and incredibly kind to both our dog and our family. She never rushed us, gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes, and explained each step with such care and sensitivity. Her calm presence brought comfort during one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives. While no one ever wants to be in this situation, we couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, dignified, and compassionate experience. Dr. Fisse treated our beloved dog with so much respect and love, and for that, we will always be grateful. Thank you, Dr. Fisse, for helping our family through such a difficult goodbye with kindness, grace, and compassion.

From the very beginning, it was clear this is a family-owned place run with compassion and integrity. They treated my cat with the utmost dignity and care, and they treated us, the grieving family, with patience and respect. Not once did we feel rushed or disregarded. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye, and they did it in the most humble and comforting way possible. In moments like these, emotions run high, and it is rare to find people who truly understand how to handle them. The team here made sure our grief was honored, our feelings were acknowledged, and that our cat's final journey was handled with gentleness. If you are ever in the painful position of needing these services, I cannot recommend them enough. They go far beyond just providing a service. They provide care, respect, and compassion when you need it most.

We knew that we wanted to have her cremated as we had done we other pets that had passed through the years. We had dealt with another crematory in the past through our vet(s) and were nt happy with the recent reviews that they'd been getting. After some research we came upon your crematory and were happy with what we were reading about other people's experiences. We called that morning and spoke to Marisol who was very sympathetic, informative, and respectful. She gave us an appointment right away. We drove to them in Secaucus from Brooklyn and when we arrived Marisol met us at the door. She and Mariah were very polite, understanding, and accommodating. They took our Oreo and placed her on a bed surrounded by flowers and gave us some time alone to say our goodbyes. Marisol then waked us through the cremation process and showed us where it would be done and guaranteed us that it would only be Oreo's ashes that we would be receiving. We were given the opportunity to be present for Oreo's cremation. Ultimately Oreo's ashes were returned to us in less than 2 hours and were were able to bring her back home with us same day. They made this sad morning easier to get through. Along with Oreo's ashes we received a beautiful wooden box to keep her in with an engraved brass pate attached, a certificate allowing us to travel with her ashes, a wooden beaded bracelet, her paw print in clay with 2 gems attached, a stand for her paw print, a rose that lights up, and a notebook with the Rainbow Bridge poem on the cover. We were overwhelmed by all that we were given and the wonderful service that we were provided by Marisol and Mariah. We highly recommend Pet Rest in Peace to any loving pet owner.

I scheduled a visitation at 11 AM for my best friend of 12 1/2 years. After taking care of the payment and paperwork I was led to the visitation room, The moment I laid eyes on the deceased I turned and said that's not my dog to which I was met by that's not possible, I tapped my phone and said this is Eli that is not. I was left in the room with the unknown deceased dog until I went outside to collect myself. I was then told they were on the phone with the vet to figure out where Eli is. They finally said Eli was there but due to human error Eli was already cremated. I was supposed to see my best friend for the last time today, Instead I was traumatized for life and will never know who I actually brought home. I am disabled and unable to work Eli was my heart and world instead of seeing my best friend and kissing his head for the last time I will always question whether or not it was my baby I brought home. Final gift you should be ashamed of yourselves it feels like my baby boy died all over again today. Just so you can see this is my handsome boy that you stole the opportunity from me to say my final goodbye, this was my best friend, the damage you did is immeasurable.

They told me 8/19/2024 that my Giselle french bulldog could not be saved so I had to put her to sleep. Sold me the whole" Final Gift Pet Memorial Center - Clifton, NJ", package which should of included cremation, certificate and box, name plate and my dog's paw print. Charged me $707 and told me about 1.5 to 2 weeks to receive. They actually called me in 2 days! This was strange to me that it was so fast but I was grateful. When I picked my dogs remains and items to find my dog's name incorrectly spelled. Long story short they assured me it would be corrected. NOW they lost my dog's print. None knows where it is.... Are you kidding me. I'm devasted over the death of my dog and they cant get it right. They seriously don't give a shit and now I question what's really in this box because of all this. I want a refund, they won't. THEY HAVE NO IDEA of the crazy bitch I am, and will become. The pain of loosing my dog makes me stronger. You cannot just fuck with peoples emotions and not correct your mistakes. The Vet office and Memorial Service need to refund me and everyone else they did wrong. DO NOT USE THESE SERVICES. FRAUD! Also when I called today 8/28/2024 to find out it the paw was ready to be picked up, I was told they had no Giselle in the system..... THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Do NOT trust them with your pets!!!

I asked a question to the seller who answered me right away with a link to their actual website which features the full size of the urn I loved. Unfortunately for me though, this was during the pandemic and shipments were severely delayed, and the urn I wanted was backordered for months. I decided that I had waited all this time to find the urn that was just right for my beautiful Mom, so I would wait. Adam kept in touch with me throughout the process letting me know what was happening on their end, and he did everything he could to get my urn to me as soon as possible. We actually decided to order several smaller urns for the rest of the family as well, and Adam gave us a bulk discount for the trouble of having to wait for the backordered urn, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend At Peace Memorials to anyone, anywhere looking to purchase a beautiful urn at a fair price. Thank you again Adam, you made a very difficult process as smooth as possible.

He was only five years old so even though our time together was short, he brought more love and joy into my life than I ever thought possible. I first contacted Paws at Peace a few months before I ultimately had to make the decision. Colleen was my first point of contact, and from the very beginning she was warm, patient, and understanding that I was still trying to figure out whether it was the right time. At that time March, Applesauce thankfully still had some good days ahead of him. But by May, he had slowed down significantly and was in a lot of pain so I knew it was time. Dr. Zhu came to our home and was so kind, compassionate, and gentle in a way that made an incredibly heavy moment feel just a little lighter. She never rushed anything and gave us extra time with him, which was something I had been so afraid wouldn't happen. She asked about his favorite toys, and in his final moments I found myself reminiscing about him with her as if she were a friend who had known us both for years, even though we had just met. After he passed, he was wrapped in a beautiful blanket and placed in a basket. I carried him down the stairs and brought him to the car for cremation. Saying goodbye to him was heartbreaking beyond words, but the way Dr. Zhu handled every step was so thoughtful and tender that I feel deeply grateful he was in such caring hands. I truly feel so thankful that my vet recommended Paws at Peace to me. They even followed up afterward with a beautiful card and continued support, which meant more than I could express. In such an unbearable moment, they made me feel held, supported, and cared for throughout. They helped make one of the hardest days of our lives a little more bearable and surrounded by so much love and compassion.

She did not rush through and was gentle with our cat and with us. Paws at Peace offers some extras (a paw print and a bit of fur in a little jar) in addition to cremation options. We got a text of the expected time and an update when there was a very slight delay. We got a follow up text the next day, with an offer for grief support. This is a well run organization. They know what they are doing. Best of all, they did not cause any additional grief to what was already a very sad day.
